Livingstone Way, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, Zambezi
Victorian steel rail, road & foot bridge open since 1905 & spanning 650 ft. across the Zambezi.
Absolutely the best view in the world of one of the seven natural wonder of the world. I did bungee jumping too! Thrilling!
Its a nice bridge , but need More maintenance
It was a good experience. The main activity on the bridge is bungee jumping and bridge slides for those that have the courage.
Connecting Africa to itscolonial past. Also Zimbabwe to Zambia.
Spectacular view from the bridge and a great spot to people watch, especially to watch bungee jumping. We entered the bridge from Zimbabwe and needed to go through immigration to collect a bit of paper to allow us to come back in! It was a smooth process and a lovely way to take in the falls one last time before heading to the airport.
The best views are from the bridge🔥🤌 you get to see the best of both worlds and its for free. From the Zimbabwean side you pass through immigration and you are given a pass, the you can either walk or drive but I strongly recommend you walk so that you get the full experience. From the bridge, you can ser the Victoria Falls hotel and Cafe plus appreciate the water fall
Nice and cool place to visit.
A product of the brilliance of the late Victorian era, this engineering marvel of the Great British Empire helped to connect nations and people.Walking from Zimbabwe to Zambia is a tiny adventure in itself as you follow in the footsteps of great men such as Dr James Livingston. Spectacular views of the falls can be appreciated from the bridge and if you are man enough, you can place your fate in the Hands of God and take a leap of faith from the bridge by means of bunjee cord. For African citizens (RSA myselfno visa is required and traversing the boarder is a breese , if you are European or further afield, you will require a visa to reenter Zimbabwe upon your return, thus I strongly suggest acquiring a TWO entry visa for Zimbabwe upon your initial arrival . This will allow you to walk from Victoria falls town into Zambia,to Livingston Hotel a d back .
Amazing view! You can bungee jump and rope swing over the Zambezi River if you wish. $168 USD per adult from Shearwater. Believe the zip line is $68. Great views of the falls, Lookout Cafe, and the Victoria Falls Hotel.
Walk over the bridge to reach Victoria Falls Zambia side, as you walk over you will see a sign saying entering Zambia, they also have bungie jumping here, and some views of the falls
Africas oldest bridge. The architecture is just amazing. Please come and see this wonder. It bridges Zambia and Zim at a gorge that is about 100 meters deep and more than 100 meters wide
There is an outdoor bar where you can sit and have a great view of the bunjee jumpers and zip line. Be careful if you have snacks the baboons might try to steal them but are otherwise harmless and very cute.
I love the Victoria Falls bridge, went bungee jumping here and it was totally worth the $160 you pay for it. Definitely recommend if youre an adrenaline junkie like me
Amazing location with some great views on the Zambesi river
Breathtaking views on the bridge. The place is beautiful and you can also see animals. We never went in the full season so we didnt see a lot of water but it was still amazing
Breathtaking views from the bridge which joins Zimbabwe and Zambia by road and rail. Old world charm found in an engineering feat worth noting even today. The location of the famous Victoria Falls Bunjee jumping. There are clear views of the falls and where they begin their flow into the famous gorge. A must see for any traveller or lover of nature.
The Bridget is old and shakes when trucks drive over it. Not much to see really. The view from the bridge is nice and worth seeing. Lots of people selling stuff on the way.
Worlds 7th Natural wonder at its Best ! Words dont describe how beautiful the experience is.
Gr8 place but avoid going on weekdays being not much activities
A massive amount of water flows over these falls. Expect to get wet and blown away by how amazing the view is.
An engineering marvel. Beautiful place to be - serene atmosphere surrounded by water, rocks and unique plants
Such a rare thing to experience that two countries are joined by a bridge that was created a 100 years ago. It is worth at least 20 minutes of your time to see the beauty of the falls and see the differences between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It doesn’t take long to understand why this is a World Heritage site!
Its a world Heritage site, if you are in Zambia, you have to visit the falls.Strange but you can cross the border too and that to without visa. The falls also stands its name "smoke thunder"(pictures are I guess sufficient to show why and if not, just visit once). There are multiple adventures activities like bungee jumping, river rafting, giant swing, zip line. I you want to feel the big African air experience, jump off.
Highly recommended. Lovely views along the way
Victoria falls bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe need visa for non-resident to enter either side but can visit the bridge
This bridge is one of kind, bridging two countries. Breathtaking views of the falls. A good place to watch the sunset. For those dare devils, Bungee jumping is possible.
Absolutely beautiful to walk on. There’s also taxis and bicycles to transport you the approximately 1.5km between the Zambia and Zimbabwe border posts.
The Victoria Falls bridge gives a breathtaking view from which one can see the valley and water but not the falls, you’ll also be at no man’s land, a stone throw away from neighboring Zimbabwe. Even better if you’re about the zip lining life. #ziplining
Ryan, 18 years old, bungee jumped here. Not enough time for rest of us to jump as we only had two hours before car pick up to the airport. The jump was 111m high. Ryan did his first bungee jump when he was 13 years old at Queenstown, New Zealand. That jump was only 57m and lame in comparison to the Victoria Falls Bridge jump. Ryan likes the Victoria Falls Bridge jump as he was pulled up and down and swung to and fro (Queenstown jump was just one dip into the water). He also had a Go-Pro strapped to his wrist courtesy of the Victoria Falls Bridge jump team. I was impressed with the teams professionalism and security measures. Forget about Queenstown, this is the real thing!
The bridge connects Zimbabwe to Zambia. Theres a bungee jump platform. If you want to walk to Zambia, youll need a bridge pass.
Beautiful views, definitely worth it to cross the bridge to see the beauty of the beast of a river below. Also a quick and easy crossover the border from Zambia to Zimbabwe just to say, Ive been to Zim. 😜
One of the unsung heroes of this majestic town. The view from there is totally breathtaking zu be ready for that. And if you thought Carnegie was outrageous when an elephant 🐘 walked over his bridge, wait till you see trains passing over this behemoth many years over! Stare death in the eyes 👀 and call its bluff doing bungee jumping. Vic Falls is that good
Victory falls bridge what an achievement of early 1900 century engineers to span the gorge with a single road and railway steel arch bridge that is still providing an important link between the countries. The bridge is used mostly by 40 tonne articulated heavy vehicles that they only let one on at a time you can actually feel the bridge vibrating has the lorries pass. But all seams safe and at the centre of the bridge they have set up a bungee jumping point that we tried. Woow what a rush of adernline both on the way down and back week worth the $150US. There was no problems at the bridge even though we were going through Zim customs control just get s bridge pass and walk down the road to the bridge. An excellent day out.
Beautiful bridge which is a border between Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Nice place with bungee jumping. One can cross the border and taste Zambian beer
Historic and key bridge connecting Zimbabwe and Zambia .the bridge crosses over the famous Zambezi river at the Victoria falls. If there is a bridge with beautiful views in the world, this is one of them.its a marvel of engineering too considering the gorge it connects to and the year it was constructed. It can be crossed by rail, foot and road.you can also bungee jump from the bridge.
Wide bridge with lots of viewing space. The bungee and swing is a lot of fun and watching others do it is even more fun
We got a great view of the rainbow falls from the Zambian side of the bridge. And got to watch the bungee jumpers and zipliners with a great view.Theres a room dedicated to the history of Rhodes and the bridge construction on the hilltop, by the cafe.
Such a pretty attraction, i do suggest it to everybody to go there and dont forget to have enough dollar cause they exchange really bad !
Walk from Zambia to Zimbabwe in 5 minutes. Excellent views of the gorge. Jumping off point. Literally for a bungee jump or 2.
A must visitEven if you have no plans to enter the other country, you can still walk to the bridge and see the river from there. Amazing views of Zambia and Zimbabwe sides.Takes about 20 minutes to walk to the bridge from Zimbabwe side. You can try some of the activities like jumping from the bridge or zip line. Also will get a good view of boiling pot from the bridge where the white water rafting starts.
Border bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is not long, and there is a bungee jump stand in the middle over the river. Both borders open at 6am in the morning and it can be crowded at the passport control. It takes about 20 minutes to walk 2km from one passport control to the other. To see the Victoria falls on the other side of the border, you have to buy tickets again.
You can book your adventure stuff like Bungee, Bridge swing and slide straight from here
Nice crossing point between Zambia and Zimbabwe.Lots of activities can be done here (although rather expensiveor watch others doing bungee jumping.
Come with lots of money to try out the different excursions like bungee jumping, zip lining and many more.
A beautiful no mans land between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Dont miss out on bungee jumping from this bridge 😉
Beautiful place that no photo can show how amazing it is
Amazing views of the magnificent falls. Great activities on the bridge such as bungee jump, rope swing and slide over the gorge. Get splashed with mist from the falls as you take part in these activities. A must do for adrenalin junkies!
Views from the bridge is sight to see. Mother nature in all her glory and a worthwhile experience.
Nice to go for a short walk and watch the bungee jumping. Probably not worth paying for a visa for, but get a day pass from the border and enjoy the walk.
