I always love going to Victorias Kitchen and today was no exception except they went above and beyond this time and bought out a cake slice with a candle when they found out it was my daughters birthday... Thank you!!!!!

What a great cafe! Stopped here driving through Taupo. Delicious food! Scallops and salmon bagel was delicious. Salads are delicious too and good coffee! Will definitely come back

Great food. Great music. Great service. Quite central. Went there twice during my stay in Taupo. Sightly overpriced but totally worth it. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed my food. The bacon is terrific. They offer gluten free.Celiacs beware though. When they accidentally put a gluten containing side on my husbands plate, he pointed it out. They took the plate back to the kitchen and removed the offending food then brought the plate back cross contamination and all.Honestly, if it were just a matter of removing from the plate, Im sure we could have handled that ourselves....

Excellent cafe for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Reuben was delicious, lots of fresh-baked treats (sweet and savory), all of the breakfast standards plus nice sandwiches, salads, and baked things.

What an amazing spot.Friendly and very accommodating staff.The ambience was truly fantastic. The food was incredible, so much so that my husband officially deemed it his best breakfast ever.We were coming back from Hamilton after the awesome rugby match the night before,so we were pretty excited to stop for a brekkie and boy,they certainly gave us that and some....totally would recommend this spot to anyone...loved every moment spent there. Had a lovely Brunch for my brothers 80th birthday. They were so obliging and produced a muffin with a candle. Much appreciated.

Good friendly Cafe.Meal potions were of a good serving, possibly a little bland (??and good hot coffee.Good patronage and looked local, possibly not??Staff were attentive but very busy.

Great food, clean with wheel chair friendly environment. Staff are helpful and nothing a problem. Parking a little difficult but worth it.l highly recommend this place.

We had breakfast here during the Taupo marathon weekend and it was very busy, that said our food came out quickly and hot. Very tasty, fairly priced and great service. Good coffee too! Will definitely be back when passing through Taupo

With my Sperm Donation World tour heading to taupo, i needed a good meal after a big night out at the d bar, i got the works and it didnt disappoint.

Best Cafe I have ever been to,Exceptional food with great presentation. Our meals looked like they where straight from an episode of Master Chef, great service, great atmosphere and comfortable with cool decor and interior design.Pan cakes with sweet toppings where absolutely off the planet good!!Wifes coffee and my hot chocolate where so good also that they have set a new and maybe unrealistic benchmark of expectation for hot drinks!!I highly recommend this Cafe!!

Best family breakfast in Taupo! I ordered Paul’s Porridge, and I’ve never tasted a porridge quite like it. Delicious!! My husband had poached eggs with bacon on toast, with a side of sausages and rosti, which he enjoyed. Our three young boys had the kids pancakes which they demolished. Lovely big fat pancakes. Also enjoyed the coffees and hot chocolates. The counter and wait staff were all very friendly. We loved it so much, we went back two days later!

While Im a frequent visitor to Victorias i ordered the Salmon with mushrooms. There was a wait due to large numbers in the restaurant. Ill get the annoying thing out there now and that was the size of the salmon fillet as writen on the board. 2.5x2.5 piece doesnt even come close. Flavour great.

Wonderful staff.I ha to shut my pie hole while I got my shock under control. Food was nice. A bit more seasoning with the savoury food.Was a bit noisy due to a hen party but hey, they were having a good time.

Reviews are accurate. The coffee was indeed the best! Hot chocolate was also good...and best of all...the perfect pancake that I had was truly PERFECT! We definitely made the right choice when we dined there. Keep up the good work peeps! 🥰🥰🥰

Great spot to stop on our way up north. So good that we stopped again on our way back South after our vacation! Great service. Enough space to be comfortable and excellent food. A definite winner for families, a couple, if you are staying in Taupo or just passing through. Highly recommend it.

Thoroughly recommend. Came back the next day. Buddha bowl and eggs Benedict the best I have tried for a long time! Hard to find a good Coffee these days but both days amazing! Yum. Put it on your bucket list when travelling through Taupo

Really nice place and good atmosphere. The food is a little on the expensive side but the quality is definitely worth it. I had a mix up thinking the wifi was paid for so I bought a voucher and the owners offered to refund me because they have free vouchers available. So Id highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a really good breakfast and coffee.

Friendly staff and food came out promptly (even though we went at peak time on a public holiday). Coffee was great and the Perfect Pancakes lived up to the name - fluffy and delicious with the apple and blackberries!

Love eating at Victorias, couldnt come to Taupo without stopping here. Today while my wife ate a spinach roll I had Reuben sandwich. No disappointments. Great service too.My iced chocolate was incredible.

Very friendly staff and beautiful food, I was also pleased to be served a real spiced chai latte. Scrumptious, certainly recommend as reasonably priced.

Super friendly staff. They offered a couple of vegan options. The vegan Buddha bowl ($20was great but was a little light if youre hungry. Regardless, it tasted great :)

It was a busy time in the morning.We were waiting too long for this.The staffs were kind and good.But this is my first time to have over cooked egg Benedict in my life.

Such a yummy and lively place to eat! There were plenty of gluten free options that werent just eggs and toast such as this yummy kumara gnocchi.Extensive choice of cabinet food as well.

Ambiance is very beautiful with stylish decor. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would rate this place higher however i had an omelete which was 21$ which in my opinion is worth max 14$. After the omelete I am still very hungry. The omelete was tasteless and plain. All ingredients were added at the top not inside the omelete.Coffee was nice.

Went to this place two mornings in a row for our morning coffee... one of those mornings being the day of the 10th anniversary for the Taupo summer concert with more than 20,000 people in town across the road. It was like musical chairs. One got up and left, another one filled the spot immediately. With around 60+ people wining and dining, the tables were clean, the food was flowing, and the smiles were plenty. We didnt wait any more than 15minutes for our bowls of coffees and 3 meals. So impressed with the way the staff handled such a crazy amount of patrons without any delays. Would recommend this place and trying the "energy salad" and the mac and cheese. Its to die for

Im so disappointed. Ordered a salmon eggs Benedict for $25 and received hard-boiled eggs instead of poached (see photo). The meal was below average and overpriced. As this is my last meal in Taupo I feel it has been wasted. Staff were nice but inattentive, 2.5 stars because the coffee was good.

Delicious drinks, cozy environment, kids drinks were presented amazingly! Good for kids some toys and colouring equipment to keep them busy, and overall a great cafe.

A great place for a breakfast or lunch. We came here for a quick bite in the morning, and everything was delicious. Coffee was amazing as well. There is a lot of different choices that could suit any taste.

Incredible! Possibly the best breakfast I’ve ever had, perfectly poached eggs, the freshest avocado and tomatoes, succulent grilled bacon need I go on!?The coffee is the best I’ve had in NZ too. I’d give it 6 stars if I could

Great food! I had the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and it had a potato cake underneath and was quite tasty. Nice coffee but the bloody Mary seemed to be just tomato juice and vodka, so not the best. Fast, friendly service. They have high chairs.

The place looks nice and has good atmosphere. The food was average but the presentation was well. The menus are leaning towards on the pricey side. Just came here for lunch.

The food looked good, very average and lacked the wow factor you would expect when your paying that much for breakfast. I had the pancakes which was very average, my wife had the poached eggs which were overcooked.Coffee was okFor 40+ we paid for the breakfast I really cant say I was impressed.
