Good kitchen for a fair price! Nice place for a lunch or breakfast. No much of wine choice and no good beer.

Very rude and disprespectful hostess. Nice food, probably, but a very bad attitude. It looks like visitors disturb some workers... Probably, they do not understand that actually visitors pay them their salary...

Nice interior! Ordered dorado fish that was too salty. Kitchen took it back and gave a new one, with salad on the side. The steak was tender though a bit too salty too.

Location is great, place is cozy, usually very crowded. There is great choice , mostly European cuisine, so nothing much interesting if you are travelling, but the quality and price are great. My only complaint would be that mushroom soup was too sweet, otherwise tasty. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent food, but the waitress Alyona was super rude when we asked for Cappuccino orange for no reason. As if she was offended we even asked, and kept giving us angry looks the whole time we were there.

A very good restaurant. I suggest insalata caprese as a sidedish, spaghetti alla carbonara as main dish and, of course, beef steak. Kind personnel, reasonable prices.

Its a pleasant, clean and charming place to eat lunch. The staff are polite and attentive, and food is well priced and excellent. I recommend the herring.

Not that well café.Extremely rude and shameless staff.We were led by the pretty high rating but it ended up ruining our evening.So at the entrance we were asked if we booked any table, we obviously didn’t.Then we were told by the hostess that there’s one corner table available and only for one hour. As we were hungry we accepted this condition.After that everything began: I asked for a glass of sparkling wine and got it flat, when asked why is that, the waitress said that nobody is going to open a new bottle for each glass. No comment.When we asked for the bill, we were charged 98 UAH extra for some “service”.Again when the waitress was asked (in russian, as I am russian speakerwhat is this charge for, she looked at us arrogantly and said - this charge is for service, but if you don’t want to pay it we will remove it.I felt I am in a bad theater play.Of course I didn’t want to pay the so called charge for “service”.Ok, the extra charge was removed and I had not intention to leave any tip, not even a single UAH but, (II act of the bad theatre playwe gave a 500UAH and received the rest of 51 UAH.My husband said that the waitress could take his beer glass as he was done with the beer.So she did, together with the money we were not intended to pay and then said bye.We felt just shamelessly fooled and embarrassed that something like this just happened in a “pretty decent place” in the center of Kiev.

I love this place 😻Their food is lovely. Staff, nice and helpful, even if theres no available seats, they would still find somewhere to get you a seat.

Rude customer service. I left the place not to deal with the rudeness. They told me if you stay one hour, you should sit here. I said i am not staying one hour and i asked all those tables empty and they told me they are reserved. If you are lying, just show some effort. It is 2 pm Tuesday after lunch, who will reserve them. I do not trust places when they openly lie with no shame.

Try anything that includes meat, salads are also good. Presentation, flavor, service are above the basic requirements for this price. Going there is a great bargain!

Its very popular place in the center of city. The cooks do their job excellent, meal is always tasty and fresh. Service is fast and basically is friendly. But you should reserve tables, because restaurant is always full.

The place is for any occasion. Very cozy and pleasant. During several hours of being there up to 10 people were congratulated with B-day. The atmosphere makes you feel being at home. It is the best place for me to attend now!

The service at Very Well Cafe wasnt very good. No one was rude, we were just forgotten. They sat us down and then 30 minutes went by before we were ever spoken to again. I had never been to this cafe before so I was telling my wife maybe we are supposed to get up and go order somewhere in the restaurant. We werent sure what was going on. My wife had to get up and find someone and ask them to take our order. Thankfully she speaks Ukrianian! It was very strange how they just forgot us.Thankfully, the food was very good (probably the best Lamb Ive ever had! Compliments to the chef!but the service was so bad that I just couldnt get past it. Maybe this was just a one time thing and Im sure your experience will be better, but I have to be honest with how we were treated.

I loved the burger I ordered. Went back the second day and it was too salty to eat. The place is always busy. Reservation would be best.

Everything is perfect except very loud music.

Tomato soup in business lunch tasted like warmed up Sandora tomato juice. Overcrowded in business time, but I dont see the reason why. The main menu on contrary is quite good, and its a nice place to hold a HB party, for ex. So overall, 3 stars.

Always delicious food.Portions are fairly big.Prices: moderate.Always crowded. Getting a table for lunch or dinner is quite hard, advanced booking may help with that.Sometimes personnel is overloaded and orders are delayed both in taking and delivery.

They have got delicious cheese cake. but many times so busy and if you want to spend time at here you need to reservation.

Nice place, not very expensive, good service, English, open and close erea, big garden around, dont come alone.

The food is good and reasonably priced but be prepared that they do not serve any main dishes until 11:00. This was very disappointing and this information was not available anywhere, even in the menu. They just said so.

Celebrated here birthday with relatives. In terms of format, the place is more like a family restaurant, many people with young children. Waiters are nice. They serve quickly enough despite the large number of visitors. From the kitchen I especially want to note steaks. The degree of roasting corresponds to the one you order.

I ate amazing fillet mignon with draft beer that recommended by waiter. Thats totaly awesome. Im very luck to find a table. Almost all tables have been reserved. Dont come back without visit this place. 👍

A very nice cafe conveniently located in a lovely little park right in the centre of Kyiv. Popular for its delicious and fancy while relatively inexpensive food, thus a bit noisy and crowded (especially in the evenings), so better take care of the reservation. The service is generally fine: the waiters are quick but a bit impolite (not rude either, maybe our was just in a bad mood).

Unexpected surprise to find this cafe. The food is great and tasty. The staff deserves a +10 rating. Friendly, courteous and always with a smile.

Very nice service, waitress was very polite, friendly and took good care of me. Food was very tasty. The menu itself is very interesting. The only thing that probably tables are a bit too close to one another. Other visitors were trying to get to their places near me and their asses were literally few sm away from my plate. This part ruins a bit total impression

Comparing to many conventional eateries in North America this one will surprise you with great food, friendly service and attractive prices. Very busy during the lunch time for the reason mentioned above, so book a table beforehand. This place is my choice number one in Kyiv.

Friends suggested to try out this place, telling that their cuisine is almost godlike. You need to book your time due high visitor volume. A good place if you like smoke fumes coming from people smoking at the entrance and if you like narrow passages almost without any free space for your comfort.Ive visited this place without booking and there was only one free table for an hour. I dont want to think about time when relaxing and trying out food, as well as I dont like tight spaces with lots of people - this place is not for me.
