Verace 2.0 in Ljubljana

Če je za nekatere uporabike to dobra pizzerija, potem res niso jedli dobre pizze ali pa nimajo okusa...Njihova pizza ni vredna tudi 9€ ali več, naročila pizzo pri njih, voden paradižnik, mozzarella sir - samo 2 koščka gor, bazilika sploh ni bila frišna, ampak direkt iz skrinje gor nametana, pizza je bila tudi premalo pečena - surovo testo. Poleg tega pa medtem ko vse ostale pizzerije, gostilne že normalno obratujejo, Verace 2.0 na DUNAJSKI cesti ostaja zaprt ( bolje, da je, da ne pride do kake zastrupitve). Ali je to isti lastnik kot na streliški ulici ali pa ni plačeval najemnine?

A lot of waiting for waiter before ordering 15-20min nobody came to us, then after ordering we got wrong drink, two dishes were served 10 min before pizza that supposed to bi done in 90 seconds so actually pizza was delivered 25 min after ordering. We got dirty child seat.Pizza and both dishes were 2 max 2.5 from five stars I would not recommend this restaurant. On the picture are Roastbeef Strips with beluši and polenta.Best regards.

Sono stato un paio di volte a pranzo durante la fiera di Lubiana. I menù del giorno sono buoni, veloci, economici. Non ho provato la pizza. Salmone, purea di carote, rapa rossa saltata. Hamburger di tonno.

The beer wall is dissapointing for the simple fact that you have to pay 3 euro for using it, the beer choice is also quite limited. Food is good though

[EDIT 3] I went to Verace2 again to try out the new staff. They performed entirely up to expectations.* We didnt wait 20 minutes for the waiter to come to our table, a waitress was there right away* She immediately distributed our menus and patiently waited to take our orders* Our orders were served in a reasonable amount of time* No waiter ever ignored us, as was the practice when the old staff was serving there* We did not spend 30 minutes trying to attract a waiters attention to ask for the bill. got the bill in a reasonable amount of time, paid and were off on our way.The only thing that was not entirely up to paar was the fact, that we ordered 5 pizzas, of which 3 were served in less than 10 minutes, another one was served 5 minutes later and mine was served another 5 minutes later, when my colleagues, who were served in the first wave, were already finished and the colleague who got served in the second wave was half way done. There is certainly room for improvement. But at least the waiter acknowledged the longer wait and let me know that they are delivering my pizza in 3 minutes.But all in all, it was a pleasant lunch, service was normal, no waiter was arrogant, nobody ignored our attempts to get their attention, so I am bumping the review back to 4 stars.[EDIT 2] I was told that the restaurant replaced the entire serving staff. They are getting one star back for that move.[EDIT] I used to be willing to put up with Veraces horrendous customer service, because their pizzas were so good. After the way they treated me today, I just wish their pizza master finds a job at a different restaurant, because such good pizzas shouldnt be served by a bunch of obnoxious, arrogant and incompetent waiters. They guy looked at me, listened to me, then just turned around and walked away. You can enjoy the best pizza in town at Verace, if you manage to burrow your way through the god-awfull service they have there. It is really difficult to understand how they can be this horribly disorganized. There are dozens of waiters there, all walking around, and not one of them will even acknowledge you. They will just ignore you for the first 20 minutes you sit there. It is best to just grab a menu from one of the tables, waiting for a waiter to bring you one will just add 10 minutes to your total wait time. When its time to get the bill, its best to just get up, walk over to your waiter and ask him for the bill, if you wait for them to bring you the bill, you will wait for another 30 minutes. And all the while you will watch waiters walking by your table, ignoring your nods, handwaving, your "excuse me" exclamations, etc.And I dont even think the waiters there are bad workers, I think that there is something in the way they are organized that prevents them from servicing customers properly and within reasonable time frame. Something is seriously wrong with customer service there. It looks like one waiter is waiting on the entire restaurant, and the other 15 are just sort of waiting around, looking at the place. They will walk by your table, turn their head away as you wave at them or attempt to attract their attention some other way. Its seriously bizarre.It is too bad that such great pizza chef with such a great pizza recipe and a superb pizza oven is coupled with such a horrible customer service.Go to Verace if you like great Neapolitan style pizza, but make sure you dont go there when you are having a bad day, because their customer service might just push you over the edge.

Še z nobenim lokalom nisem mela takega love-hate relationshipa. Pice majo dobre (vedno naročim margarito), lahko si pa tudi prej naročiš hrano in jo prideš iskat, kar je kar priročno (ampak doplačaš pol evra za take-away box).Kar se tiče postrežbe je pa totalna katastrofa. V času kosila je organizacija bolj ali manj neobstoječa, postrežba pa boleče počasna. Navadno rabijo pribl. 10min, da opazijo, da si zasedel mizo. Ko končno naročiš, pa čakaš 30min na pico. Nazadnje smo čakali pol ure na 2 margariti, sodelavec, ki pa je naročil dnevno kosilo, je pa čakal še dlje. Vmes sva pa skoraj pojedli vsaka svojo pico. Glede na to, da naj bi se ena pica pekla 90 sekund, je to res porazno.To sum up for my English friends: the pizzas are amazing, but the staff is slow and its probably best to avoid this place during lunch times, especially if youre in a hurry. However, you can always choose the pick-up option, so at least thats something.

Cant say anything bad about their pizzas, but the service is the absolute worst. There is no excuse when you have to wait for 15 minutes for them to even clear the plates and glasses left on the table by the previous guests. Maybe if you have the pizza delivered.

Pizza was excellent. Service was alright. The only problem I have is the menus, which are needlessly complicated in their ingredient descriptions. My partner accidentally ordered a pizza with ham because he missed the word "ham" between listings of special tomato and cheese names. A symbol to mark vegetarian pizzas (or even just categorizing them instead of listing them all in no particular orderwould be a huge step forward.

The food is great, but be prepared to wait a long time.

I never leave bad reviews but alas. Waitress chose to ignore us after waiting for 15 mins. With 50 mins to closing time, there, was plenty of time to get a pizza and a beer.

Verace 2.0 suposed to have one of the best pizzas in Ljubljana, but I have to say that I disagree 🍕- Pizza was realy nicely made but it had lots of tomato souce, whic I dont like in that amount;- me and my friend waited for about 10-15 minutes, before anyone came to take an order and when the waiter came, he wasnt polite at all;+ prices are ok (beer + 2 pizzas were around 30 euros);+- ambient is nothing special, but they have an option, where you can pour your ownd beer.All in all average lunch, good pizza, but nothing special. If you want realy the best pizzas in Ljubljana, you should check something else. 🥂

Tej piceriji na Dunajski sem dala že 3x priložnost. Tokrat definitivno zadnjič. Osebje je bilo nezainteresirano, neorganizirano, počasno. Naročeni sta bili 2 pici in v obeh se je najdel las. Pica načeloma okusna, ampak slabša kot včasih..

You will find here great and tasty pizza, self serving beer tap with great local craft brews. But be warned self serving is dangerous for your wallet :)Abmient isnt that great and during cold days there is a slight draft.

Best Pizzas in Ljubljana. As an Italian friend said, this is as close to Napoli-style pizzas as you can get. The ingredients are all high quality and the dough is a slow-fermented quick-bake masterpiece. The staff is friendly, the space is modern (very open and comfortable ), and most important, they have a beer wall! Like a literal wall where you can pour some pretty good beer from Slovenian microbreweries.

Pizza at Verace is still perfect (one of the best I ever atebut there are not enough waiters and I got my pizza warm (not hot like it should be).

The pizza was ok, tasty. I would give 3.5 Mine got a little burned. Nice place and polite waiter. But I have to say for the sake of us all put the kitchen where we cant see it because we saw some things a guest doesnt want to see.

The PIZZA dough is fantastic! So we had two pizzas, classic margherita and frutti di mare. The only one complain we have is the frutti di mare, the problem is that the seafood is frozen store buyed, so as we got the pizza, was very watery, it was like the pizza had take a bath in the ocean. So when you wanna eat a great pizza, take the margherita so cant miss. One is sure, I will again too taste the other pizzas in the menu.

They didnt have an English menu, and the waitress wasnt in the mood to tell me what was on the different pizzas, and didnt know anything about them, either. For this reason, I ordered a pizza margarita, but there was hardly any cheese on it, and it was completely cold after 5 minutes. They also dont have BONI, so I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

The service is beyond horrible, way too loud and wild punk rock music so that the personnel can have a party, scream and laugh so loud that one can hear them all over the place while the customers find it hard to eat and digest their food, the personnel couldnt care less for the customers and their needs, such as needing salt, all they care about is having fun while they all but ignore the guests. Pizza is good if you like it completely unsalted, but everything considered, not worth the visit. They do not have the book of complaints even though thats mandatory by law. Avoid.

The pizza is fairly good, no complaints there. But the service - oh my ... The lady is visibly confused, super slow, doesnt say hello, takes the order and stands by the dirty table and mumbbles to herself, forgets the order (and that doesnt seem to mind her), very slowly comes again - leaves the table still super dirty. Finally, she brings the order, forgets to add sugar to the coffee (she took it all to the next tableand still doesnt care to make any eye contact, a touch of kindeness, or cleaning the table. All right, id say - she had a bad day - it happens. But with this lady - its always like that. Bad.

After making a reservation, we arrived and the staff told us they are out of pizza dough. Really ? On a friday night, at 8pm? Ok😂

Dough reminds me of Napoli, but not plain taste due to not enough tomato sauce. Pizza is served cold and waiting time is actually to long for a pizza that it takes no more than 2 minutes to bake. Seasonal pizza that friend ordered was a catastrophy. Vegetable pizza with almost no sauce was left to much time in oven and was uneatable.Pizza could be much better due good dough, but cold pizza is not something I can recommend to anyone.
