Veggie Pause - Vegetarian restaurant in Fes, Morocco
A great place to enjoy a vegetarian meal in Fes! The smoothies were excellent and the pizza I got was tasty and loaded with veggies! The place is kind of small, but we were able to sit down outside in front of the restaurant, and it was a great place to people watch. We didnt get the veggie bowls, but the people next to us did, and they looked lovely.
Great food and great atmosphere!!Anything we tried was delicious.
Really nice veggie restaurant, which is hard to find in Marrocos. We had the Morocco Lasagne, the Giulia burger and some starters. All was really tasty. Well come back during our stay in Fes. Highly recommend!!!!
Nice little break here during our visit in Fez. Grabbed a couple starters and they had all been excellent - loads of vegan options :-)
A lot of vegan options. Very fresh & tasty. Will come back again
Very good service, foods are good and tasty.
Pretty expensive for Morocco, but clean tasty and with an amazing service and people. Recommended!
Really great sandwiches, would go again and lovely sweet staff!
Delicious vegan food!
Very tasty vegetarian menu, friendly service.
Super fresh and good food, lovely staff
Exceptional sandwich, super big and healthy.
Food is exceptional and I’m not a vegetarian! The portion size is huge. The food is so good we ordered a lot just so we could try everything! we got to try the lasagna of the sun, pizza, avocado toast and the bowl below. It’s worth it! It didn’t go to waste, we gave our leftovers to one of the kids in the street who asked for it to feed his family. It’s not a restaurant, it’s bar seating inside and has only two 3-person tables outside.
We had the two lasagnas, which were both great in taste. However, they were reheated (not very warmand the portions were quite small - especially for the price. In Fés, a meal at a cheap restaurant costs about 25DH, not 75DH. Veggie Pause is actually very expensive for what you get.
Fantastic tasting food and juices. Highly recommend the Indian lasagna. I was so hungry I started eating it before I took the picture. Service was fantastic as well.
Great WiFi, power outlets and amazing food! Travelling being vegetarian is hard but when you find a place like veggie pause it really makes your day. We had the vegetarian Indian lasagna and soup both full with flavour and authentic.
Really nice vegetarian food, soup was yummy! Staff was friendly and made us feel welcome, was nice dining here
Great food. Taste soup and lasagna. An great break from vegetable only tagine for vegetarians
The food is amazing, sadly I don’t have photos of it because I was so hungry and it was so delicious it just didn’t take long to disappear!! I had a bowl and the Monsieur croquet, both quite nice and an excellent break of veggie tagine and pizza!!They also have great coffee, usb sockets and free wifi (the carrot and orange juice was also amazing!)
Dont miss the Harira soup here.
Really great place. Finally I could eat something different than veggie tajine. I also had a geat coffee and freshly squeezed juice. While I was having a meal my phone was recharging via usb
Pretty good food and really helpful staff :)
We arrived 20 minutes before the opening time and the staff at Veggie Pause were sweet to accommodate us. The soup and pizza were both brilliant and I would definitely recommend this option to anyone who is looking for a Vegetarian restaurant in Medina, which as I am aware is really hard to find.
We loved it.
The Indian lasagna was soooo good. I want to go back tomorrow to have it again!
Big portions, good quality ingredients and nice flavours. Doesnt have a wc.
After a week of eating Moroccan food our stomachs needed some veggie food. This place was perfect! Food was delicious and the server was great too!
Very tasty food with vegan options. The place is very small so there is not much comfort to sit. The staff is friendly and special orders are not a problem.
Delicious food and amazing smoothies! Highly recommended if you need a break!!
Very small cafe type restaurant. Ordered the avocado toast and it was really good. Fresh, healthy food for a decent price. A nice change from the typical tagine and couscous meals in Morocco.
Good food with very nice people!
The food is delicious and fresh. But we had to wait a very long time for the food to be served. In addition, the restaurant has no toilets or agreement with another restaurant.
The food is very good and the staff is very kind. Recommended.
Excellent veggie options, we goggled the best options in Fez then followed 45 minutes walk from out hotel but it was certainly worth it, lovely food friendly service and inexpensive meal
Great food!
Although the place is overpriced and you can find veggie/vegan stuff twice cheaper in morrocan restaurants I like having gaspavho there. Sadly they dont take cards.
Fresh delicious salads and veggie bowls. Really yummy smoothies— I recommend the one with honey and yogurt.
Very nice food. Good size portions. All super fresh
This was a great find in the Médina near the blue gate. We were hungry and needed a quick bite. The restaurant (more like cafeis tiny but very clean and modern looking. We had the vege pizza and two fresh juices. I’d recommend this place for breakfast, lunch or a quick bite anytime of the day. Good price and great food/drinks.
If youre tired of veggie tagine....The best veggie lasagna ever! Enjoyable safe clean and friendly place. Close to the blue door. Not far from Batha hotel.
Excellent food and service
This elderly man is preparing walnut bark to sell to elderly men and women who know the value. In fact ; we use these walnut bark to clean the teeth.
Great vegetarian food! Simple, well-designed immaculate place. Have been three times and have had the Buddha Bowl, penne with basil pesto (not over cooked!), bakoula (wild spinachpizza, and the detox veggie juice. All quite good.
Great place! Good, tasty, fresh, healthy food & friendly people. Dont miss it. Adults ànd kids.
There are both vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. Both the samosa dish and the tomato, onion and zucchini(?pie were tasty, and came with hummus, a small salad and bread. We also enjoyed some fresh juice. Total for both meals with drinks was 145 Dh.Seating is limited and they have no toilet, but they have an agreement with a neighbouring restaurant to use theirs. The owners speak French and English (at least), and are very pleasant people.Note as of this review, Google is listing incorrect operating hours. They are open 12-16h and 18-22h.
Lovely spot for vegan or vegetarian food. I was very surprised with the cauliflower salad! Minty fresh and light!
Very good food, friendly owners.
A fantastic place to get some healthy meat free options. The service is very friendly but the food is even better. The lemon mint tea is very refreshing and the avocado toast was delightful. They also have free WiFi.
Yummy. Very good prices. English and French menu. Just a cool, clean and cozy place. All the staff makes a really great job.
The best option for a vegetarian or vegan dish in the Medina of Fés, excellent quality, nice plates, modern ambience, free wifi
