Vegetus - Vegan restaurant in Seongnam-si, South Korea
I ordered a vegan burger and fries. It was really good and there was a very short waiting time. If you’re in Seoul you should definitely try this cafe!
I am Gluten-free, Celiac, and there really are not many options. I had the burrito bowl. It was not good at all. But with the GF options in Korea it was food. I would recommend going to Plant Cafe. They have more GF options and their food is delicious.
Great vegan jalapeño burger. Good atmosphere.
I had the Vegetus burger with fries, the mango and coconut smoothie, and the walnut brownie and everything was delicious. I’m just sad the macaroni and cheese was sold out because I really would have loved to try it! Definitely recommend the food here (ordered delivery so can’t speak to the service and restaurant vibe).
I really liked the bowl!
Yummy lentil burger, fries, falafel. Friendly service in Korean or English
Its so hard to find vegan food in Seoul, this place has a nice selection of dishes. The vegie burgers were very good, Mac and cheese and pasta was great. Hope to find more places like this one
Staff are very helpful but the food is average at best.
Splendid vegan restaurant in Seoul with great choices of dishes, drinks, and desserts. I got a beer and a burrito bowl. The burrito bowl was healthy and delicious. Finished off the meal with an amazing chocolate brownie. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming. If youre looking for vegan food in Seoul, dont miss this restaurant!
The food was amazing!!I recommend the mac n cheese it was the best mac n cheese I’ve ever tasted! They took really good care of us.I’m sensitive to gluten and they made sure no gluten or any contamination to the dishes served to meThanks from the bottom of my heart
Vegan restaurant in Iteawon. I recommend the Vegetus burger. Wasnt too salty or greasy.
Really nice atmosphere and Friendly staff. The jalapeno burger was amazing! Recommended
Seemed like a nice place but the staff was a bit rude when our children didnt place an order because we were taking up a table. Mind you it was 2:15pm. Past the lunch rush and no wait.
Leaving Seoul after two years and I will miss Vegetus the most! Amazing food and wonderful staff. Strongly recommended!
I was there with my husband and three kids and we absolutely didn’t feel welcomed at all.. maybe they don’t like kids? I don’t know. It was very disappointing. We are not going back🥲
I tried the Vegetus burger and was happy to find a hand-made patty that had been fried crispy. The size of the portion was quite small, considering the price for food and drinks here.It smelled deliciously inside the small cafe because they had just pulled freshly baked chocolate muffins out of the oven. I have yet to try their housemade desserts which looked promising. The restaurant itself is rather small, only four to five tables.
Delicious! Not too many vegan options in Korea. But this place has decent options to choose from and the ambiance is nice.
Great Food, friendly staff!! Plenty of Gluten Free & Egg Free options too... probably one of the best vegan lasagne Iv ever had
Excellent food. Good ingredients and filling. Not a lot else to ask for!
I heard very good things about the burgers there. Sadly they were sold out when I came but I had the tomato Vegan Mozza panini and it was delicious.
This vegan restaurant is Good food is tasty. I really enjoy the lasagna and vegetus burger location is a bit tricky if u bring your car and also there is not place for parking besides that you will enjoy your meal in here.
I had big family dinner with plates here. Even my parents and brother (non-vegansloved it. Awesome flavor 😋🥦
The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. However the carrot cake was very dry.
+ : Vegan restaurant, good presentation, fresh food products but some industrial (vegan Mac&Cheese powder?)- : Textures and flavors are special and dont mix well together sometimes but this is good ♥️
It used to be good. Getting worse and worse. Portion is small. Less tasty. More pricey.
A welcome breath of vegan air in an area that could use a lot more of that sort of thing! I stopped in from Cheonan, and did not mind the commute. A predominantly western style vegan place, with a small but quality menu.
The veggie burger was really great, as well as the salad and chips its served with. The coffee and the carrot cake a were a bit less exciting.
Nice place and food near Itaewon
I have been to this place only a few times and always snd up ordering the same menu. Its my favourite. Still need to try the rest of the menu. The staff here very friendly and welcoming!!
It was special experience for me. I cant say the dishes were delicious, but special and unique with vegetable only. Good to visit if you like to experience something new with vegetable only. But be sure there was no parking area in the restaurant.
Of all the places we tried in S. Korea, Vegetus was my vegan teens favorite. He had a vegan burger and I had the bulgogi panini and we took home some vegan desserts for later. We found that we were pretty close to a hiking trail up Namsan Seoul Tower to the observatory there. Great experience all around for us.
Medium to large portions, very filling. Warm atmosphere, gluten free and nut free friendly. The desserts are rich and the peanut butter brownie we ordered was served hot.
Good vegan restaurant close to Seoul tower and on the outskirts of Itaewon. Meals were delicious! The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I felt that the bakery snacks were a bit over priced.
Absolutely enjoyed Vegetus! The food was amazing. Soooo tasty, thoroughly enjoyed my vegan food experience here! Will be coming back as a regular for sure!!
Everything in this place is vegan food. From coffee to deserts, all made by vegetables. I and my friends had lunch in here over vegetarian burgers. We had a piece of chocolate cake and brownies as well. It tasted like a bit soy bean and it was good! I recommend this place. I definitely can say that it’s good for you, it’s healthy.
Vegan friendly high quality food. Not greasy and delicious. Beautiful interior in cafe. Perfect for the fancy dinner as well
This is my favorite restaurant in Seoul. I recommend the bean salad. Its both delicious and full of legit plants that still look like plants. Also, if they have their peanut butter chocolate bars in the counter display, I recommend eating all of them. This place is a 40 minute bus ride each way for me and I still go every week.
Great jalapeño burger. Very filling. My husband and I shared one and was full. We didn’t get to eat the mac and cheese. Everything was flavorful. The atmosphere was very relaxing. We also ate the brownie and carrot cake. The brownie had good flavor but I missed the moisture of milk.Overall a great experience. I would come back.
Surprisingly tasty vegan lasagna. Its a nice- sized serving, but not super filling. I think it comes with a salad that I opted not to have, but some potatoes or green beans would be a nice side to make it a more complete meal. Those options might be on the menu, Ill have to check next time. Went on a Sunday evening to eat alone and the mood lighting was a little too dark for my taste. They also have a chocolate brownie that was the truth. A lot of vegan chocolate desserts tend to taste bland or artificial, but the brownie was flavorful and just sweet enough. I was fantasizing about having a school of vanilla ice cream to really do it right.
Always fantastic. I hope the vegan pepperoni pizza comes back someday, but in the mean time the panini, lasagna, hot chocolate, and banana bread are keeping me happy happy.
Perfect, trendy place in a very foreigner friendly place of Seoul. Good healthy vege bowls, try their panini and deserts and much more. Also with awesome drinks, not sure if they serve alcoholic beer but Ive seen wine being served. Worth a try.b
Delicious food, excellent for vegans too, many different options. The Mac n Cheese was exceptional. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed it!
Vegetus is such a cute place to eat and relax. I LOVED THE VEGETUS BURGER.. Will definitely be back to try more of their items
Tasty little vegetarian and vegan restaurant with lots of delicious food on offer. A little further up HBC Hill than other restaurants but if you want something different definitely give this place a try. They also sell vegan and vegetarian products in case you need them.
I got the vegetus burger and walnut pie. Both were good, but not outstanding. The atmosphere, however, is great, and the staff was super nice. They also sell some vegan/gluten free/organic groceries and even nutritional yeast (which is hard to find in Seoul).
Great jalapeno burger, very tasty gluten free lasagna. She savored every last bite.
Great vegetarian restaurant. Cozy and quiet place with various food, drink and desserts with delicate taste. Vegan lasagna was a little salty, but the best I’ve ever eaten. Vegetus burger was also good. Highly recommend!!
Lovely place owned by a lovely woman! I totally love the vegan pizza and burger there. The mood is cosy and staff very friendly. One of my favorite vegan restaurant in Seoul! The grocery with vegan products is a big + !
The store is in a quiet part of haeboncheon. The menue is simple and the food is presented well. The portions are perfect. Lovely service!
There was a nice night time ambience. The place felt casual but stylish. Food was good, though not outstanding. There is a wine menu and you can buy a few select vegan groceries.
