Vegelateria the Sacred in Dübendorf

Food was "Nearly as good as meet" and recalled remembrances of Charles Dickens. Coffee was horrible. Somehow they overheard is complaining about the Coffee, which we did rather discretely amongst ourselves, and brought us two more coffees. All very well but the taste didnt improve, we didnt want to elaborate and left, trusting there are payed consultants available able to dealing with sub par coffee.

Had a wonderful lunch here. Tons of choices, all of which looked very tasty, and the 5-6 that fit onto my plate definitely were. There is a nice outdoor patio out front, where I ate, and inside was pleasing as well, of course. There is also vegan ice cream as well, and I got tempted into a delicious apfelstrudel cone. The woman who runs the place is also super friendly and helpful. One of my best meals in Switzerland.

Best vegan restaurant ever.I have been to this restaurant for many years and always impressed by their cuisine.

Been here several times and it has always been a great experience. The ice creams are insanely good. Food is creative and tasty too. Feeling clean, blissful and thankful after every meal! 😇🌱💗

I visited on a Tuesday evening and it was quiet, cozy and very tasty. The drink of the day was fantastic.

I always enjoy the familiar atmosphere of this place. The food is yummy and feels very home cooked and the vegan ice cream is always a delight. I personally recommend the warm dishes, especially the roasted veggies, and for dessert the stracciatella and the dark chocolate ice cream flavors.

Everything freaking delicious, ate more than 2 Kg of food! Fortunately is the restaurant a little bit far away from the Old Town, I walked back 30 Minutes and made my digestion 😂😂😂 this is worthy!!! And you can try all the ice creams before buying one! The owner knows how to sell his wonderful products! The same with the kombuchas drinks! Would go again for sure when in Zurich!

As a vegetarian I can say that the food is great as always!But I have recently chosen not to support the restaurants efforts in denying the covid-19 pandemic and their support for political rallies against the official, science-based measures to stop the pandemic. Its a true shame that conspiracy theories have permeated Zurichs veggie community :(

Delicious dishes on the buffet that were healthy and nutritious. The vegan feta salad was my favorite. A lot of soy based alternatives, so if youre intolerant, keep an eye out. Gelato were very tasty - gelato, not just a few fruit sorbets. Very friendly and passionate people running the show. Highly recommend.

The best place in Zürich, and my favourite place I have ever eaten at. It was our first time in Zürich, and when we came across The Sacred on Google, we went for brunch...we went back for dinner it was so good. The food is beautiful, we could not believe how wonderful the buffet choices were, with it ALL being vegan! (the hot selections included goulache, spinach pie, lentil stew, quinoa, potato wedges), and to make things even more impressive everything is organic. Including all of their vegan ice cream which was the best I had ever had (chocolate and hazlenut). The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The atmosphere is so calming, and it felt like a very safe community space. It is beautiful on the inside too, with lovely decoration and art. My mum, dad and I were overwhelmed with how truly beautiful this place is. Thank you so much The Sacred!! :)

Incredible !!!! The best vegan restaurant we have EVER been to. All ingredients are fresh and biological and the place is so lovely. The ice cream is also the best we have ever eaten hihi. 10/10 would recommend! We will be back!

Everything I had was delicious & nourishing, truly am happy with the high quality food I ate here. If I was staying in Zurich longer I would’ve come plenty more times. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for exceptional vegan cuisine!

This place does not follow health regulations: nobody working there was wearing a mask on purpose and they even mocked people who did coming in. It is not the first time I have felt that going to this place, theres an attitude of being above the rest and open disregard for coexistent different opinions. Infortunste, since the "philosophy" they supposedly stand behind is exactly the opposite.

I can say that is the best vegan place in the town!!! Like the buffet sistem they have!!! You basically get food immediately, no need to stay in long line or wait tillyouwillbeserved! And food com in a good variety and really yummy!!!!!!

My wife and I visited Vegelateria yesterday for a couple of ice creams on our first night in Zurich. The owner Michael was so welcoming and kind that we pretty much immediately decided to book for dinner tonight (To be honest we would have gone back anyway because the Ice cream was so amazing).Although we arent used to a buffet style dinner, it couldnt have been better for us because literally every dish was amazing. Everything was labeled nicely and there was a great range of hot and cold dishes from baked vegetables to pies to curries and more salads than you could dream of. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was welcoming.Of course we topped it off with more ice cream afterwards. This is a must do for any vegan or non-vegan visiting Zurich!

This is possibly one of the best places Ive ever been for food. It is all vegan. The, I assume owner, is so lovely and really funny. The food is amazing and so nice. I wish I was staying in Zurich just so I could come back and stay here for longer.

When researching restaurants to check out in Zurich, this restaurant came up quite often. At first I wasnt going to go but I was craving ice cream and the shop I was going to go to was closed so I made my way over to this place. I am glad I did! I ended getting take out for dinner and it was delicious. The dishes were mainly asian which is fine because there were so many different flavours. I highly recommend a visit here as well as the ice cream. They also have a shop so you can buy vegan products and cook for yourself at home.

Michael is always delightful to chat with and all the staff is super friendly. Prices are “Zurich” prices. This place is the best vegan place you’ll find in Züri-town.

The idea of the place is very inspiring. Our 3 kids liked the food. I must say the food was a bit too much salty and oily. In general as vegans we had a good experience. The price is high, take it in consideration (-:

Food is really good. Yet, after paying CHF 45 for lunch without drinks for one person in a self service restaurant I see things from a different perspective.Unfortunately, I only checked the restaurant‘s homepage when I was home to find out that they charge CHF 3.90 per 100 grams from the buffet. According the price paid I would have eaten almost 1.2 kilograms of food for lunch. Really?Prior of helping myself at the buffet I even asked staff how things would work in this place; I‘m fairly disappointed that I was not even made aware of the price they charge. Also I could not find any price tag. Clearly all of described is not the restaurant‘s fault as I should have requested more details. For me this was a one-off experience as I feel I paid too much. Though, food is really good – just be more critical, when you feel the price is too high!

This place was my favorite restaurant in Zurich. Its an all vegan buffet where you pay by weight. They offer vegan ice cream too. I only wish that they served alcohol.

You go there for the food and incredible ice cream. Buffet and simple style.Always consistent, food has a great energy and its definitely super healthy. Its not the best ambient or deco but worth for a quality lunch and nicest staff.

I love this place! Great vegan food! Delicious meals and ice creams - most of them naturally sweet without extra sugar! A lot of healthy, bio, hi-end stuff! Crew and atmosphere make place even more special!
