Good selection of quality vegan meals, served beautifully. I Price isnt as cheap as I expected but still reasonable. Great service, too.

Very nice place and tasty food.

It’s really hard to find vegan food - except fries - in this area. Therefore, we were really happy to find this place. Veganeeta is a beautiful restaurant with really nice staff, good food and special coffee. Would definitely recommend to go there 😊

Today we were in Balatonalmádi and we tried out Veganeeta. I have to admit that I had high expectations but they managed to reach this. We had amazing lunch here with my love who is vegan. Tomorrow we will go back and will have a breakfast there. This is highly recommended place because this is a five star restaurant. Keep it up!

I am not a vegetarian but I was curious to try this restaurant. The pizza I have ordered was ok, but the vegan cheese on the top tasted like mayonese which was strange. The strawberry soup did not have too much taste either. The curry was tasty. All together I have expected more taste and more deliciuos dishes for the prize we have paid.

One of the most wonderful places if you are vegan. They have vegan versions of traditional Hungarian dishes. The waiters were all wonderful, very helpful, extremely kind. All of the dishes that we have chosen were super tasty. The dishes were amazing in terms of value for money as well. There is parking nearby, so its super accessible too. I can only recommend this place.

Fantastic Food and Service.

Amazing food with an incredible variety to satisfy every taste. Veganeeta is Hungarys hidden treasure and must be visited. Im only sorry I dont get to spend more time. Two words...VEGAN CROISSANT!!!! WHATS NOT TO LOVE?July 15th 2022 - Its been 9 months since my last visit and Im happy to report Veganeeta is as spectacular as ever. Its a culinary surprise that must be shared. If youre within 10,000 km of Balatonalmadi do yourself a favor and make the trip. You wont regret it.

Great vegan food!

I have to be honest, never in my life have tasted vegan food as I am generally against of any kind of hype and trendy phenomena and I am a carnivore. However my niece insisted on to sit and try as she had nice experiences before. I was surprised! I really liked the food and the service was professional. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy and ambiente.

There is a big variety of dishes, you can choose "feel home" or experience something new. The waitresses are really nice, the place is pretty, the price is reasonable. If you order coffee, you can choose what plant milk would you like to have in it. The muffin desert was exceptionally tasty! :)

Fancy place, kind staff, tasty, restaurant quality vegan food

We visited Veganeeta Home while we were in Hungary. After I ate in the restaurant I decide to become vegan because I can’t tell you how wonderful my stomach felt after eating all the vegan options. The service was spectacular, everyone is super professional. The owner Ancsi was very friendly and welcoming. It’s and hour away from Budapest in Balatonalmadi it’s worth the drive.

Food was amazing. Staff were very thoughtful/attentive: as soon as they noticed I dont speak hungarian (yetthey gave me a menu in English, also asked if we had any food intolerance such as gluten or lactose for example. Perfect place with high quality service and food, I recommend.

Came back after two years. Then I gave only 2 stars and I was disappointed with the size of the portions and quality of food.Im happy I returned today.Prices are the same, but portions and flavors are just fantastic!Everything was superb!Highly recommended vegan place!

We visited the place with friends, it has a very good colony feeling and it is not loud so it is perfect for reunion and talkative events with friends while you are eating healthy food.🥬Indian sabji meal and the vegan burger was very tasty. The chick peas with curry, pine apple and wild rice and garlic crispy bread was a very good combination of flavors. The burger tasted very realistic to meat and it was well-seasoned.🥬the brownie with pistachio ice cream and whipped cream was the best. IMPROVEMENT POINT: the brownie and the fruit sauce should be hot and then it would make the dessert perfect🥬IMPROVEMENT POINT: the “cheesecake” was tasty but they should rename it because it is nothing to do with cheese cake. Even it is vegan. It had totally different flavors. It could be a tasty house specialty or something.BUT THE WHIPPED CREAM 🤤 was amazing, i could eat a whole plate of it 🤫😅The owner was very kind but she was a bit scatter-brained. I suppose she was just enthusiastic 🤷‍♀️The place is very clean and cosy, very much recommended 👍

What great tastes, what great ambience! The food is extraordinary, the cucumber soup is a must. Everything is clean and pristine, the staff is welcoming and lovely.

If you’re vegan this is a must! One of the best vegan places in Hungary. Great environment. Rich menu. Just a bit overpriced but worth it.

Nice place, the atmosphere is absolutely calm and peace. The price a bit higher than an avg restaurant in Hungary. The tastes were correct. If you would like to try a Hamburger or anything without "animals" you could.

Almost...Almost a good vegan option at Balaton. Above local standards, both menu and prices, helpful staff. BUTThe place is an overstatement. Too much decor, too beautiful food - instant success on Instagram. But in reality dishes were not really tasty. (Our selection: vegan tatar, sabji, pasta with mushroom, sweet millet balls)Its a pity.

Yesterday, my family, boyfriend and I stumbled across this restaurant on HappyCow. It’s the only listed vegan restaurant in the area and we didn’t have very high hopes to begin with, since traditional Hungarian cuisine relies heavily on meat, cheese and cream.As you can tell from my 5-star rating we got a very pleasant surprise!The staff was incredibly nice to us and our two dogs (even though one of the dogs promptly peed on the terrace 🙈).We had Házi Limonadé to drink, as well as one green smoothie (my boyfriend found it tasted a little “too healthy” 😅).As mains we ordered two curries, the tabbouleh and the Caesar salad - all of which were incredible and just the right portion size to be pleasantly full. With room for desert, we all ordered the panna cotta - which was the only dessert available that evening and probably my favourite part of the meal (sugar free, yet SO DELICIOUS). The presentation was beautiful throughout.We even got one dessert for free because one of the lovely waitresses accidentally spilled a tiny bit of curry sauce on my shirt. I really didn’t care, but that was a nice touch ☺️All in all, it’s safe to say that we will be back and highly recommend this to any vegans and vegetarians in the area!

Nice staff. Latte was offered only with vegan milk which did not meet my taste, but its ok, I should have considered that it was a vegan bistro. For breakfast they took a very tasteful plate, neverthe less, the so called croissant did not remind me to the original one, instead it was some dry stuff.WIFI did not work in the garden.I went there just out of the season, but I would like to advise to pay more attention to small things like that.Because of the ambient it is recommended to vintage lovers.

Perfect place for haveing a lunc. This full vegan place is one of the best I have ever tried. They have a new menu in every season. Today we had the chance to eat in their garden place as the weather was so good. The waiters are really kind and helpful. Today during we were waiting for our lunch we received some free vegetables With some tomato sauce as you can see in the picture. The place is very clean and has a beautiful design. I can’t wait to eat here again. The Balaton is really close to this place.

I would like to tell you a very personal story about why must everyone who visits this area of the Balaton go and eat at the VeganeetaHome! :-)I struggle with a digesting system disses (IBS), which has a very strict diet. It’s similar to the plant-based or vegan diets. So, it’s everything but not easy to find a proper restaurant in this area where they won’t look at me as an UFO when I order. :-DAfter a long time during the last Christmas holidays, I have had a chance to visit my old time fav city at the Lake Balaton which is called Balatonalmadi. This place has a special place in my heart (I spent lot of summer holidays here with my friends and family). So before every trip, I like to do a little research to plan where could I eat more than the typical “salty fries” option. I already heard about the VeganeetaHome because a few of my friends had visited it and recommended it. That’s why it was obvious that we’ll eat our lunch there. Well, the place was beautiful, modern full of plants and of course based on Christmas time with the Christmas tree there was “the ultimate cozy home” vibe, I loved that! :-The whole staff was kind, incredibly helpful during my order and the food was incredible….the amount of it and the quality too!But our story didn’t end here: a few months later me and - back then my fiancé- decided to get married as soon as possible. We were looking for a place where both of us has special memories and that’s how we have chosen Balatonalmádi. We didn’t think much about the reception’s venue the next day we called the VeganeetaHome! :-D The owner of the place Ancsi said almost immediately YES (FYI: we only had 6 weeks).On the big day, WOW, it was incredible!!! They put everything together as it was their big day. They organized the whole reception (decor, food -obviously :-D -, logistic), the whole team was kind. I and all the guests were stunned by the service, the food (btw the whole menu was created based on my diet). Funny story: a few of our friends asked a couple days later, that how long we know the Veganeeta team because they felt like we were family to them….well I think I said enough….:-DIf you are planning a tour around Lake Balaton or just want to visit a few special places at this area, you must go to the VeganeetaHome and experience this unique gastro treatment! :-)

A lovely place close to the lake, decor is amazing, food is delicious and staff is helpful. We went there 3 days in a row for lunch and tried their different dishes - all tasted delicious and made us come closer to the vegan diet.The only recommendations I would make is: 1. make allergens appear on the menu - there are a lot of people allergic to nuts and such which appears frequently in on the menu.2. Straws, straws, straws - to me it seemed like regular plastic straw that are put in all cold drinks served - we all know the effects of these on the planet and the alternatives available3. Calories and macros - if these were visible for each dish that would be a great help to all who follow a diet or do any kind of sports and track nutrition.Would definitely advise to visit and will return ourselves. The hamburger is really to die for.

Its a popular place, we just jumped in for a burger (and for pizza, but that run out :( :( ). Thank God we got that burger, it was legendary. And the cheesecake... unbelievable!

Amazing

We were delighted to find out that there’s a vegan café around Balaton. The place is cosy and spacious at the same time, the service is friendly and the food is very delicious. There’s a great selection of coffee and tea, fresh bakery, nutritious meals and lovely desserts. We spent about 6 hours working on our laptops here, and it felt just like working at home. I would recommend it even if you’re not vegan - you’ll surely find something for your taste.

Top quality vegan food, the burger is has amazing flavour but also a very special consistency which makes it an absolutely pleasure to gorge on.

Im not a strict vegan, but the foods in Veganeeta Home are excellent and the prices as well. The owner speaks good English and you get a good portion for your money. We were thrilled to find such a fantastic place like Veganeeta Home. The owner Anita is a special treasure person. Kiss and hugs!!
