For any vegan/ veggies looking for a fresh and tasty quick bite. Warm welcome . Food was fresh and very reasonably priced. The fly wings are delicious and the mac an cheese balls one of the best.Worth the trip . 👌

Not the best option for me. The food was ok, thats all I can say. If you are looking for a vegan restaurant there are better options available elsewhere. Its a shame they dont serve beer.

I love the vegan junk food bar! Come here regularly.Only the service is getting worse and worse. They don’t take away dirty glasses, don’t listen if you have a ‘special’ order and have many inexperienced staff that can’t even find your table. I hope to give 5 stars in the future. Till next time!

Very delicious food and excellent service. The interior design not as polished as the other store, it looks a bit unfinished and the way to the toilet is weird. For people who want to decide for a great location I would rather recommend the other stores.Although the Heppi Ribs Burger and the Fizz and Chipz were very nice. Also I can recommend the VJFB Sauce.

One too many. We ordered food, three kapsalon. We waited for half an hour. When we entered, the longer waiting time was not mentioned. After asking where our food was, we were told they were not even preparing the food yet. We ordered drinks while waiting, but it was forgotten. In the end we had to cancel our food because we were waiting for too long. The scenery was bad and all in all a horrible experience. The vegan junk food bar at the Dappermarkt was perfect, this is just a joke.

Good vegan burgers as usual but sad they don’t have outdoor seating outside (we had to eat on the grass instead).

I wish there was a place like this in Italy. It debunks the classic stereotype "vegans just eat healthy food."Everything was so tasty, crunchy and the sauces were really good. They also had some gluten free options in the menu. Drinks were colourful and good!

Very delicious food but also very filling! Don’t order more than you need. The cocktails were delicious and staff were great. They were very busy and there was a queue to get in for a table to eat so prepare to wait!

Update: the reply from the restaurant is just for show. They encourage you to email for everyone to see and then never respond to your email. Just update your Google information. Make sure people know that the kitchen isn’t open for take away after a certain hour. That’s all people want, honesty! -If you want to pick up food from this location after 9 pm, you can’t reach them by phone to put in an order to pick up. And their kitchen closes around 9 way before 10 pm. So don’t take the trip out there if you want to still grab take away at 9.30 pm. Google says open till 10 pm, but they’re kitchen isn’t open at 9.30pm if.

Super friendly people, superb vegan food. If you crave some Tasty junk food. Get it here. Totally worth it.. not expensive... great flavors.. nice field outdoor to have this delicious food.

Packed with flavor. We got a smash burger and an loaded fries with the bbq ribs. The salmon sushi was a first as well. Very realistic looking! Highly recommend!!

I wish there was a place like this in Florida. This place is vegan but dont let that fool you. Everything we ate was wonderful. I had the kroket burger. This thing was messy in a good way. The kroket was a fried gravy patty. Sounds weird and different but trust me on this one. It was very good. It came with lettuce and tomato with a mustard mayo sauce. My wife had the Mc Cruelty free burger. However they made there patties they were on point. It came with lettuce, tomato, pickles, cheese, potato chips and there special sauce. Both burgers came with a pink or black bun. We also got a side of smiley fries and the betterballs. The smiley fries are fried and moist potatoes. Enjoyed these. The betterballs were very good. I could keep eating these. It was the same as the kroket but in ball form. Would recommend eating here.

Really nice place to try vegan burgers!! We dont have that kind of place in Strasbourg and I think the concept would be a blast in our area where more and more people are turning veganLoved it all!!

Great food, very tasty, cozy atmosphere and a very friendly staff. The little resto is placed in a quiet neighborhood. A little place where you can enjoy quietly good food and good drinks, alone or with someone else.

Cozy place, nice staff, but I have expected something more from the food. I ordered plate with the mix of starters. It looked pretty, with fancy colours but the taste was flat, it was fatty and wasnt very good spiced. Small disappointment. But maybe that is a junky food...

Great food, quick service, cool decor too. Not a vegan, or even a veggie, but was recommended to come and the food was excellent. Good textures and delicious flavours!

Loved my meal here! Got the sumo platter as dinner for just myself and it was really nice -- each set of food was really flavorful and yummy! The bitterwallen were super flavorful, and I loved the texture of the shrimp / onion rings, as well as the crunch from the "chickn" wings. The sauces were fun and yummy -- especially enjoyed the two yellow ones. It felt like too much sauce though, I felt bad not being able to finish them all and it felt a bit wasteful. But they were delicious! And the mango mousse dessert was tasty too! Its a biiiit too pricey for the quantity youre given in my opinion (my meal was 30€ for the appetizer platter, dessert + kombuchabut it was a fun treat!

We really (really!!loved the food and the service, however they had a minor leak issue at the time we went but the smell was a little weird. I would suggest having a dehumidifier and an air purifier to fix it. Other than that, it was totally worth it. We ordered the vegan shrimp twice and the loaded fries was incredible too.

Besides interior quite good.The classic cheeseburgers (mc cruelty freefor 12.5€ (photoswere really tasty and you can confuse it easily with real meat.The normal French fries (3.5€were good but nothing special. The smiley fries (4.5€were perfect - the outside was perfectly crispy and the inside soft.The staff was nice but a little bit overstrained because she had to cook and do the service at once.The interior wasn’t comfortable at all and we had to sit at the window because I couldn’t look at it for a long time (photo).

Every visit to Vegan Junk Food Bar is a joy. Great service and yummy junk food. If you are not vegan like me, youll be impressed to discover the burgers are not meat - i had the Sumo burger which had both the vegan chicken and vegan beef burger. The sweet potato fries are just perfect, sad to hear theyre phasing them out though - probably the best sweet potato fries Ive had.This VJFB location is smaller than some others but still with great service. Never disappoints.

Best vegan Caesar salad I have ever had, and they have 3 of them! Plus great platters, burgers, desserts and more. The servers were really cool and helped us find other things around town. Our appetizer platter came with some amazing dips that they even sell by the bottle. I have nothing bad to say about this place but I think it would be cool if they made milkshakes.

The burgers, the fries, the service... everything is SO good! The loaded fries are a must! And the fact that everything is vegan is a dream come true! I took my non-vegan friends here and they loved it! Ill definitely become a regular at this joint.

I ordered the Notorious Sumo burger which include Vegi beef and chicken , so tasty and delecius. Also the shrimp taste was amazing. I strongly recommend recommend this place for the vegetarian food lovers

This is a small vegan junk food bar. I didn’t like the sumo platter (2/5), but the burger was good (5/5). Prices are a bit high (3/5and the French fries are really dry. Go to the larger VJFB in the cities, much more cozy and a bigger range of food choices.

I went there to discover the concept, it is indeed a vegan junk food place. Colors are funny although a bit too unnatural to me. Food was good and portions are pretty big. I had hard times finishing my fries. For those who enjoy junk/fast food, it is the place to be!

During our stay in amsterdam me and my boyfriend went there two or three times in total! The food is absolutely to die for, my non-vegan boyfriend loved it too. definitely stop by if your close by. 10/10 staff was super kind also!

Such good food. The buns melted in your mouth, the food was crispy and well portioned. The chips were amazing and crispy but still soft.Only thing I’d say is it’s a little bit messy to eat but I like that 😂😋.

I visited the VJFB after some friends suggested it to me. As I was in Amsterdam I was excited to go and try their food. The menu is digital and can be opened by scanning a QR code on the table, this is something that I found very practical especially during the Corona period. We ordered two Notorious Sumo, the waffle fries and the fried calamari rings. The food came out from the kitchen in a split second. The restaurant wasnt full but I was still truly impressed by the speed of preparation. My first impression by looking at the burgers was of surprise as the they were massive. The taste of this unique burger was absolutely incredible. This is according to me the king of the junk food. The prices are slightly higher than the average cost, but I need to admit that it is worth a try... Or maybe more.

You literally cant go out without tipping the waitress. She was literally amazing. The restaurant respected the sanitary precautions strictly but gently.Also.. that food. Im not even vegan (yet ?but this was the most amazing burger Ive ever tasted. That tastes like chicken and beef, yet everything is cruelty free. And the fries were perfect.Thank you..!(this burger is the Sumo Burger, with faux chicken and beef.)

The staff was so welcoming, and the food is great. No other words to describe it.Even though im not vegan myself, i loved the burgers here and I couldn’t taste a difference between real meat and the plant based burger!The sweet potato fries are super tasty as well, so definitely try those.The portions are pretty big and the burgers have colorful buns, like turquoise or pink.The design of the place has changed a lot over the years but when i was there yesterday, it looked so good!Will definitely come back for more 😌

This place was incredible - we came here every day of our 3 day trip to Amsterdam and never left disappointed. The Daddy McChikn burger we had during our first visit was quite possibly the best burger Ive had, I definitely recommend it. The freak fries are huge (and amazing- theyre definitely intended as a main meal, or maybe a sharing side. Keep in mind the burgers are BIG. Every dish we ordered was honestly spot on.The atmosphere was really relaxed and staff were very friendly, all spoke very good English (as everyone in Amsterdam seems to!). On one of the days we came there was a wait for a table but the staff were very quick at getting everyone seated. They asked if we were okay with sharing a table with two other people, which was absolutely fine. The tables were big enough for it not to matter. It was really great to see a fully vegan place so busy - its clearly very popular. Ill definitely be coming back when Im next in Amsterdam!

The burger was one of the best vegan burgers I’ve had in Amsterdam. I would come here again to order the burger.The chicken sandwich was good but I don’t think there’s enough patty for you to taste the chicken over the accessories of the burger.The cheese sticks were good but tasted like goat cheese to me and I don’t like goat cheese so I ended up not eating most of it.The shrimp tasted good and were packed with lemon juice. The dips didn’t taste like tarter sauce too much but I would order this again.Water was sold in small glass bottles making it an expensive purchase.All in all, we paid about €47 for 4 dishes and 3 drinks. I think that’s a bit pricey but understand vegan is a bit pricey. However, I do think prices could be lowered a bit to be more affordable instead of a one time visit.

Awesome food, very original and bright decorations across their locations. A theme of blue and pink adorns their menus and their interiors. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Food does not take long to arrive and tastes amazing. There is a pretty varied selection of vegan burgers, snacks and buns to choose from. My only problem is that it is a tiny bit overpriced.

An amazing place where you can eat good vegan junk food. The burger are very good. Unfortunately we haven’t tried the dessert.. with the burger and the sides it was enough! We was happy to see how many people was eating there.. it give hope!

Really enjoyed the food here. Prawns tasted so real! Its also full of some great art and decor and the service was great too. We did have to wait roughly 20-25 minutes though and it wasnt actually that busy (cant imagine how long youd wait on a busy day!). Some of the starters were slightly overpriced for the amount of food you get. Also, they only accept card payment.

The greatest vegan burger you can get. Definitely will try the other options on the menu if they are just half as good. The double beef burger is just unbelievable, and what to say about those chicken nuggets and the bitter balls. Both sauces were incredibly good and all that was between the bun tasted like heaven. Totally amazing and totally vegan!!

As someone who has never experienced or partaken in veganism I wanted to give this restaurant a try. I had the burger, chicken nuggets, and fries, and by far it tasted better than any delicious burger I have eaten which contained actual meat in it. There was no wait when I arrived and the food came out very quickly after placing an order. I was very surprised on the quality of taste and did not expect it to taste just as good as any non vegan burger out there. If someone had given me this burger and told me it was a beef burger I would have believed them. I am a huge fan of this restaurant chain and will definitely be back in the future.

Really enjoyed eating here. The menu is quirky and very tasty. With our group of five we had a good selection. And the omnivores enjoyed their food as much as the vegetarians.The staff were friendly and helpful and the outdoor eating space was really nice.My ‘chicken’ burger was good and we were served within minutes. They are trying to be ethical with minimum waste and paper straws etc.The sweet potato fries are really tasty! If I lived closer this could become a regular haunt.

Amazing vegan burger with the special VJFB sauce (secret recipe!+ chips and a kombucha drink. The price is not cheap (it all cost almost 19 eurobut the taste it’s worth the bill and if you want to save some money you can decide to skip drink and drink your own water. Special mention to the fact this restaurant does not use any single use plastic, everything was in non-plastic paper and the plates were reusable...therefore thumbs up to this place for also paying lots of attention to being environmental friendly!! ♻️❤️🌍

I wanted to see what the hype was so finally I adventures over to vegan junk food bar, the food was good but not the best, the burger is way too small for the bun, the fries were super tasty. Bitterballs had great putter texture but the inside didnt taste like much. This place is a bit over priced but thats Amsterdam for you. Always great to see vegan restaurants. Keep up the good work

Unanimously agreed these were the best burgers weve EVER had! All the dips are phenomenal, the seaweed nuggets are delicious and the sweet potato fries melt in your mouth.So filling and great price! They gave me some stickers to put on my laptop too :)Next time Im in Amsterdam I will go to Vegan Junk Food restaurant for the full experience! Thank you guys 💚🌱

You dont have to be a vegan or vegetarian to love this place! It deserves 100 out of 5! Tried the seaweed crunch sandwhich, the notorious sumo (highly recommendand the Pakistan Bitterballen (it would be a shame if you didnt tryand fries. Creative and yummy! Awesome friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and amazingly delicious mouth watering comfort food. The only disappointment was I didnt wear sweat pants. If you care about the environment, if you want to give your body a break from animal based foods or better, you just want something delicious and comforting then you must go to Vegan Junk Food Bar.
