Good place to have Indian food in Lilongwe

After long time i had butter masala dosa and idli was freshly cooked and amazing... just loved it..

Not good for families

Fortunately i wasnt alone and was able to share the Punjabi Thali, which was pretty good. My South Indian Thali was not good at all, and came cold and was missing sauces that we had to ask for. Our waiter was nice, but disappeared at the end. For a lunch special, it took nearly an hour for food to arrive. Not that impressed. I might go again, but Ill be very careful in what i pick.

Food is not so great

Worst customer service ever!!!! 1 star is too much for them. Change the manager or close the restaurant would be my suggestion.

I went to this restaurant several years ago. It is situated in a mall area. The food is very good, but you need to like spicy meals. I want to visit it when i am in Lilongwe again.

There food is incredible. Whenever Im in town, I try to get at least one meal in here. Great spot

Good food, friendly staff. Visited on a Friday and ordered the Indian Dali. It was delicious! I recommend this place. It is in a little shopping mall that is pleasant. Curio shops etc. The Indian Dali cost 7000 Kwacha.

Indian food brand in lilongwe

Kinda overpriced for some of its mediocre service.They have nice menu and it is pretty inside and out for those who love taking pictures, some of their food 👌🏾 some seem like they just reheat and reheat.

Came for dinner with a vegetarian. The service was excellent and the food was tasty. I ordered the Dosa and my mom ordered the corn palak. The Dosa was on the salty side, but it was nicely crispy. The palak was the star of the meal. They accept credit card. All around, good experience

The best surprise of the Lilongwe food scene. This place is my favorite vegetarian restaurant I have been to, including outside of Malawi. The food is spectacular and the service is great. They are kind and help you navigate what for many will be a little bit of a foreign menu. It is in a nice area with little curios shops around it.

Great way to experience new culture

Appalling service, the manager and staff are not bothered about customer service. The food is average but has gone downhill from what it used to be. So disappointed ☹️

Ive traveled quite a bit to southern and northern India, and the food here is just about authentic as it gets. They even have my favorite street snack, dahi puri! We ordered the thali, and it came with everything pictured here. The dosas are also beautifully made.I was told there are two Veg Delight locations, one in Blantyre and this one in Lilongwe. The Lilongwe location is supposed to be much better.

Oh my God. This is legitimately the best vegetarian restaurant Ive ever been too. The food was spectacular, colourful, and had a variety of flavours. The cheese in the food mellowed out those flavours, so you really get to taste them.This will be our go-to restaurant whenever we are in town.

Amazing Indian food, we ended up going here 3 times in 7 days. Every dish we tried was just like you food find in India.Unfortunately it gets 4/5 starts as the toilets were very bad!

Really good restaurant that is not overly priced. The dosas are really good and good enough for two people. Also had their cold coffee which was really good and not overly sweet. Perfect for the hot Malawian summer afternoon.

Surprisingly good Indian food in Lilongwe..owned and run by an Indian, the dishes are made fresh to order and vegetables are sourced locally ..Must visit if in Lilongwe and you have a sudden craving for Indian curries !!

Very nice atmosphere in an open air mall and extremely nice staff. Good Indian food but not as spiced as I would have liked- the tikka masala & naan was great though!

Great food and very friendly staff. Nice, clean atmosphere. Would have been five stars but we had to constantly go find the staff and remind them we wanted to place orders for food and drinks.
