Veeno in City Center

Granny, Mum and daughter popped into Veeno Leics for a quick lunch on Sunday 24th July. Experience was fantastic from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed, brought water instantly and asked about our day. The staff were so cute with my 6 yr old she felt so special. We shared a pizza, bruschetts and olives all of which were superb.Absolutely cant wait to go back. Huge thanks to all the guys on shift, you made us so happy.

An impeccable service, with very friendly waiter, excellent food and a cozy relaxed atmosphere.We would definitely go back when it Leicester again. Highly recommended.

Lovely quaint restaurant, never knew there was an upstairs.Amazing food, you will definitely be pleased if you order the meat and cheese board!!

I visited Veeno with a friend last week and was greeted on arrival by the amazing Keegan. Keegan was very welcoming and advised us on food and wine, his knowledge was incredible, he really is an asset to the place and I will definitely be back soon!!

Amazing wine tasting experience at Veeno for my Birthday. We have the full shabang with 3 large glasses of wine accompaning a 3 course meal. Every thing was spot on and the wines were outstanding. The desert wine had to be my favourite it was just delicious. Our server was extremely knowledgable and really made the experience special.

Came here for the birthday wine tasting, which is free on or within 2 weeks if your birthday. I had three small glasses of wine and then a small platter with three different food samples to accompany the wine. The bar kindly swapped out meat for veggie options. It was generous portions for one so I shared with two others and had as nibbles instead. We were also able to offer other drinks (2 for 1 cocktailsand drinks. My second time visiting and it was a lovely visit, just like my first.

Had such a gorgeous night at Veeno. Amazing service and drinks/food. Would really recommend the wine and nibbles tasting experience, and the cocktails - especially the limoncello margarita! Thankyou Veeno 😘

Meet with a friend for an afternoon tea. Veenos most helpful adapted standard menu to meet my friends requirements (vegetarian)and mine (dislike of lemon and spice). They were at hand when required but gave us plenty of space so we were able to chat and catch up in comfort. will defiantly be going there again

The food was really tasty! The atmosphere was lovely!I think I would have preferred a few more vegetarian options for the mains.

We enjoyed the most wonderful sharing board, sharing desserts and wine at Veeno Leicester. The 2 members of staff working were great, very friendly, knowledgeable and could not do enough for us. Highly recommend you visit. Thanks for a great evening

What a fabulous bottomless brunch we had at Veeno’s!! I’ve not been here for quite a while, but we we’re all so impressed by the staff, they were amazing. They looked after us so well and we’re so attentive. Don’t get this sort of service often nowadays, so it made the afternoon special. Food/ drinks were great to, the Limoncello spritzer we’re yummy!! Thanks again to all the amazing staff. Businesses can’t run without good employees!!

I was brought the afternoon tea with wine as a birthday gift, I went with a friend Saturday and it was delicious, the food was presented lovely and tasted even better then it looked. The venue was lovely the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will 100% go again.

Veeno is in vibrant St Martins and quite busy. Given a warm welcome. Four great wines paired with delicious porchetta, salami, bruscetta and cheeses. Very enjoyable experience.

Went for my brothers 21st birthday for food and drinks and the service was fantastic waiter was really helpful and polite. Drinks and food were 5 star and authentic Italian, the atmosphere made you feel really comfortable. Also enjoyed the free shot drink from the waiter.Will definitely return and recommend this place to everyone looking for a nice night.

Id booked an afternoon tea with my mum. The team were welcoming and we were seated promptly. A fantastic selection of cakes and sandwiches with an Italoan twist. Will definitely go back.

We were given a Virgin voucher for this place for a food and wine tasting experience. We took it as a lunch and really enjoyed everything about it. Delicious cheese, meats and goodies platter accompanied by tasters of super wines. A walk round Leicester in the afternoon to let it all settle! Absolutely great.

Been going to Veeno Bar for last 4 year they are always very helpful . You need to try there afternoon tea can’t fault it also the other food on the menu

The staff were very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The atmosphere is great and the starters were delicious!The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because I really didnt like the pizza (the cheese and bread base didnt seem right). My friends who didnt get pizza were very happy though! I would definitely go here again...just wouldnt order the pizza 😊

We had a fabulous afternoon. All the staff were great especially John who looked after us so well. He poured our drinks and fetch us anything we needed.. overall afternoon tea was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and will definitely return again soon..Can thoroughly recommend afternoon tea however all the other food that came out looked amazing

My partner and I had an afternoon tea here which included a bottle of prosecco. Everything was amazing from start to finish. Manager Alex gave a warm friendly welcome and was attentive throughout our visit. The food was delicious and well presented. Would highly recommend a visit. We will definitely return. Had an amazing Italian afternoon tea today, with very attentive service from Fatima and Keegan. Highly recommended as good balance of savoury versus sweet, compared to usual afternoon tea. We will definitely be back.

Really great pizza... Didnt get a chance to try the wine as we were in for a quick lunch with the kids. But the atmosphere was lovely and well definitely be back (sans kids!for some wine tasting!

Afternoon tea. This was the best afternoon tea we have ever enjoyed. Everything about the food was first class and could not be faulted. The young lady who served us was a credit to her employers. Awesome place. Great food, great wine, what more could you want?! The staff are super-friendly and really knowledgeable too. We had the mixed cheeses to start and then a tagliatelle ragu and gnocchi. All we’re delicious. Would highly recommend the Nero d’avola - really lovely. Have been looking for a proper, quality Italian in Leicester for a while and we’ve found it! 👍🏽

Hubby treated me to a wine tasting experience, which is a tour around Sicilian wines paired with food. The manager is so knowledgable, accommodating and friendly; we had a fabulous afternoon.

I like the place and the atmosphere. Perfect place to drink a good wine or for an aperitif in the typical Italian way. The spritz probably a bit expensive but worth for money.. absolutely amazing.

Informal, relaxed with excellent food and wine.Popped in here to try the bruschetta and ended up having a pleasant couple of hours. Extremely relaxed atmosphere and the Pinot Grigio wine was the best I’ve tasted in a long time.Could have stayed in here all day but unfortunately had other commitments !The goats cheese and fig jam bruschetta was fantastic, and really enjoyed the one with sun-dried tomatoes and pesto as well.Manager was extremely friendly and professional, and all staff were pleasant. Didn’t feel rushed here at all.Would recommend for an afternoon drink and some delicious Italian snacks.
