Vee Jay's Restaurant & Bar - Restaurant in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
The foods are expensive but the roti tastes good
Caribbean cuisine.
Best roti in SVG…
Great food
Great place for dinning...
Service was very slow.
Sells the best roti in St Vincent and the Grenadines. 😏
Non existing customer service.I went there twice, first time service was very poor, the food was cold, atmosphere was dead.Maybe just a bad day- I thought. So I decided to return back two weeks later, and everything was absolutely the same.Staff looks angry all the time, simple “hello” and “thank you” doesn’t exist in their vocabulary.Avoid at all costs!
Roti was the only thing available at 7 pm. Perhaps the only restaurant open in many blocks at this hour. They had the football match on.
Great kingfish chips and large fruit smoothie for $28EC
Its ok, I prefer the food at Vee Jays prime lime in Arnos Vale though...
Food is great you chose what you want great choice staff very friendly queas for roties long but worth it
It was okay but just mean the place was real hot they could of turn on the Air-Con
Great food ..Great roti..I went back recently to grab some lunch, great ambience and enjoyed the bar outside to watch some sports.
The food was very unique and tasty because it actually sympathizes our culture
Good place overall nice food and all that stuff but it can be a bit slow at times
Best bar in Kingstown with nice staff and best Sunset Rum !
Main course was superb but the desert (apple piewas terrible. A bit crowded. I would probably look at other options in future.
On point lunch specials and roti wraps, rum punch delicious
The crew and myself stumbled into to this establishment to grab some tuck tuck. We all ended up with the same burgers as theyd ran out of most other options. They were extremely palatable and we all left satisfied.
Its a lovely place with decent customer service. Only setback is the slow service but other than that, the food was good.
20.50EC per meal. A little bit pricey, but it is actually more delicious than other restaurant.
One of the oldest restaurant in stvincent best know for its roti
So hospitable, in true Vincentian fashion! We ordered from the buffet (known to be famous for thisbut were limited in choice as me and my sister are vegan however the owner gave me and my sister veggie wraps on the house to try !
Its hard to find food in St Vincent as a vegan but Vee Jays have a buffet with vegan options as well as a la carte. The owners are lovely - so kind and thoughtful to our needs.Food is extremely tasty. Make sure you add hot sauce if you want a kick. All fresh and flavour some. Also a great chill spot for beers and drinks. Will definitely be going there again.
Delicious and palatable food with a home flavour. Courteous service.
This place used to rock, back in the days. The roti skin almost broke my crown, goat was hard as stone. I only gave 3stars because their workers are friendly and the tamarind juice was off the chain.
Vee Jays never disappoints when It comes to quality and sumptuous dining. Their Beef and chicken rotis are especially appetizing.
Local food nice get away in the heart of town
Best place for local food and and a good place to chill also theres an apartment building close-by
Great place to go if you just wanna sit down and chill while watching the game with your friends on game night or if you want to take that special someone on a romantic dinner. Its a great location for both. They are probably the best roti spot in town and the food is always good. I will highly recommend this place.
The food is great. Pleasant environment
The bar/restaurant is a real treasure. We only had some drinks which were very tasty. The food looked delicious too. Staff was super friendly. I reccomend this place.
Great for local food and juices ..prices are very reasonable . Great ambience
Located in Kingstown, Vee Jays serves good local food at good prices. Theres an indoor seating area and a bar at the back that shows live football matches.
The food was really good. Theres always a crowd but worth the wait. The bar is very nice drinks are really nice fresh and tasty.
The real Vincentian experience! We met Julia the owner Wich made the experience joyfull. Great place!
Bought food there and it wasn’t that good. The plantain was hard like they didn’t even want it to ripe properly, the callaloo was tasteless. The rice was an epic fail as well. On the plus side, it did full me. Also, y’all should consider a vege lunch option that isn’t the Sam price of the meat option. Thanks.
I usually go for the roti but this time I had fried chicken on a quiet evening and they did not disappoint.
Takes a while to get food but overall it tastes really good
The food is local cuisine. Well seasoned and tasty! I recommend the roti with a local hairoun beer!!
I sat and waited 50 minutes I never got my lunch...then my date n I never got the drinks we had to ask for it and when I told the waiter how long I was waiting there was no apology then when she went to get the juice there was non of either n to top it off my juice was put in a coffee cup for me to take away
Very good service and the food taste quite OK good quality and there are a number of different lunches you can choose what you can afford .
Service can be slow. But food is awesome. Its a favorite of some of my friends.
The food at VeeJays is well known across the island chain. You cant help but love the savory goodness and authenticity of the cuisine. My one complaint is the food portions seem t get smaller upon each visit. I wish they would serve a proper portion size as they prices have not been lowered.
Lunch is always good at Veejays. The boneless chicken roti with a salad on the side was great.
Good place to have lunch, the food is good and not expensive.
You would not be disappointed. Try as many local dishes as possible and ensure to try the local juices as well for example the cherry juice and sorrel juice. You will be disappointed!
Vee Jays Restaurant my god this is were I ate some of the best Rotis In St. Vincent like serous and Vee Jays has the outside sitting area its the bast!!
Very friendly staff, well prepared and delicious meals. Thumbs up to Wendy at the bar, love those magaritas.
