Amazing food. Wonderful and imaginative presentation, and excellent precise preparation. Everything we ordered was terrific. On top of that they played live cuban music with performing dancers! Terrific! Would love to visit again next time Im in Barranquilla!

Varadero restaurant met all the expectations. Foods were all good and tasty. Service was excellent. Reservations was easy. It’s a must go when you are visiting Barranquilla!!

I should say off the bat, I do not speak a word of Spanish, so when I relayed that to the person serving me, she excused herself and asked a waiter if he could help. when he shook his head, she asked another. when HE said no, she started asking other customers. 😄 we got there in the end.this is a place when people come to spoil themselves a little. the couples, nice family lunch/dinner, the afternoon baddies showing out for the gram. the food was good and reasonably priced. tasteful decor.👌🏿

Was shown to a table, then waited 15 minutes for a waiter to come and give me a menu. Nothing happened, so I left. I guess the service needs improvement.

Horrible experience. We were recommended here by family and it has Been the worst restaurant we have experienced here in Barranquilla. Be careful, they serve on damaged plates.

Went when it wasnt busy and its a really nice place. Well decorated and space for live music. An upscale crowd .

When we arrive at this establishment the hostess was friendly and warming. It was a beautiful day so we choose to sit outside. The chairs was comfortable and the first thing that was done prior was covid-19 clean everything for us to see. This was excellent. The waitstaff was attentive and pleasant, our food came out on time and well cooked to our specific.We then had dessert after our main dish, the cake was tasty and fresh.The place was full, due to the location and popularity. I will visit again.The only issue was the parking situation.. once the lot is full, you have to go off location to find parking

Undoubtedly one of the best options in town. Good food in a charming cozy place with reminiscences of the main and biggest Antille (Cuba), live music and affordable prices make the experience a must in the city or whenever you try to avoid the ubicuos cheap fast food of every corner.

I find my self coming back every time. Menu is Cuban-Fusion. Very good food. Excellent quality, and great atmosphere. It gets very full on weekends as they have a very good live Cuban band that performs there. So need to reserve first.

Not impressed at all, mediocre food, well decorated, the tangerine juice was the best thing I had. The Music selection was really good. Not coming back though.

Its expensive, but the service is really good and the fooda taste is literally out of this world. The general decoration and music fit just right in with the typical food served and where it comes from. I could even call it a must!

The food was just amazing. I took away one star because none of the waiters was willing to change our table so we could see a live concert. They told us that there is no table available but there was. So we paid our bill at the current table and then just moved to another table closer to live band and ordered again.

Tasty quality food, specially the fish and seafood dishes. The cazuela de mariscos is great, and also the Varadero dish (I recommend robalo for the fish option). The limonada de coco was too sweet and I couldnt taste the coconut. The beautiful decorations and local music create a cozy ambience. The service, however, is painfully slow

The restaurant has a good bar service and an excellent customer care, but the food is blend and tasteless, it lacks a lot of love and passion. There are much better options in the city for the same price range

The food was delicious. At Saturday night we had a business social reunion and everyone enjoyed their time. Great for family and couples too. We went on a Saturday night and they had a live music performance.

Traditional place with good food and great service. The live entertainment is a tad loud in limited indoor space, but the locals didnt seem to kind and theres always the beautiful outdoor patio.

Although the food and ambiance were excellent, they have the worst service Ive ever experienced.Most of our small group spoke Spanish, so communication should not have been an issue, yet the server was continuously confused. The only off menu item we ordered was 1 mojito with tequila instead of rum. The server ran back and forth between the table and the bar 3 times to put in the order for that 1 drink.When we finally received our main entrées, one person in our party was still waiting for his food. The server said it would be out shortly and then disappeared. It wasnt until the rest of us were almost done eating that the server came back and said they didnt have what he ordered and he would have to choose something else. So that person didnt get his food until our plates had been cleared.Our Dinner took much longer than necessary due to the incompetence of the staff.

They were really good. The food was excellent and fresh! A little pricey compared to Barranquilla prices but not bad when you consider the quality of the food. I ordered the seafood platter. The shrimp, calamari, octopus were of top quality and cooked very nicely and not overdone. The cocktails were definitely pricey but good overall.

Its one the most amazing atmospheres I have ever been into. It was a kind of old-Havana. Very stylish. There was cuban live music and service was outstanding. My dish was better than average.

Varadero its a very nice option for a fusion Caribbean experience. The staff was very friendly and offer a really good service. The food was delicious, very well served and the taste was just beyond my expectations. I would totally recommend this place to have a lovely night in Barranquilla and enjoy local flavors, music and ambience.

Absolutely horrible experience. Staying at a hotel nearby asked the concierge for a recommendation of the best restaurant in the city and they named Varadero. It was a horrible rainy night and we could not get a taxi. I walked two blocks to the restaurant with an umbrella; however, by the time we arrived l definitely looked like a wet dog. That being said before we evening said good evening the host asked us if we had a reservation. I answered that we were told by the hotel we didnt need one. She told us they were fully committed and it was not possible. She was extraordinarily rude. The restaurant was not even close to half full and it was 9:45 on a Friday. They close at 11. Ive eaten at many of the best restaurants in the world and and never believed the reviews Ive read in the past similar to this. To confirm my suspicions I immediately called the restaurant requesting a reservation for 10:15 and they were happy to accommodate. Disgusting behavior. I would not eat here for free if offered.

I can only review the experience I had at this place. My wife and I really wanted to try this but after waiting for over half an hour without anybody even giving us a menu after asking multiple times for one we finally just got up and left to go to a much friendlier restaurant around the corner.I guess if we were willing to wait an extra unknown amount of time it couldve been worth it but we were hungry and had to move on. At least if they wouldve given us menus and some drinks it wouldnt have been so bad.

Absolutely the best most delicious seafood here. I could not stop ordering more. The dishes are small so have more and more. Food comes very fast. Faster than the drinks which is strange. But i will forgive for freshness and flavour like this. Picture worthy but I ate it too fast.

No doubt- this is the best Cuban restaurant in Colombia. The food was espectacular. We asked the waiter to bring their best plates and not tell us what was coming, everything was a great a delicious surprise. Would go back anytime, hope they open in the US too.

However, in order to save money and taste everything clients should go for the their platters to share. Really good and far enough.They close early though...
