The food is good although not excellent, also you have to order it on the bar, kind of like McDonalds, thus it can be annoying to wait sometimes

This was my last visit to this restaurant.Waited for more than an hour for pasta. They forgot about my order.Especially in a neighborhood where people rush from meeting to another. With very scarce time. You dont do this.

I was there twice with a larger group of People (4-6since they changed the system and both of the times i or better said we experienced a really bad service. Food was quite fine but until everyone had their food and we could start eating together the one or the other meal was already cold due to long waiting times for some of the meals. So 0 organization that the people who come and order together, can also eat together.All in all really bad experience since they changed the card system to the app system.

Sunday lunch service.Not busy. Excellent.Online ordering. I like to order this way.Food. Delicious as ever.Service. Miserable, I had to ask the waitress for every single extra item (salad and drinks). The system clearly doesn’t work. I do not want to imagine the chaos at very busy times if orders are not being delivered correctly.Barista. Took off early and left the waitress to make coffee, she clearly had not much of an idea, waived for help but sadly got ignored. We’ve had horrible coffee.Toilets. They ran out of toilet paper and soap. The toilets are clearly not checked regularly!

Went in with the intention of having a decent and warm lunch - worst decision ever. Chaotic ordering and payment process, no languages spoken apart from French (note: I speak 4 languages), almost completely tasteless and surely not handmade pasta, therefore also overpriced.

Let’s start with a positive - cheese cake was fantastic. But, there is a catch- there was no strawberry. The waiter did not look interested in serving or helping the customers at all. We waited for 1.5 hours for the the most simplest food, and kept asking many times about it with no response. The waiter did not apologize for anything, so, we were under an impression this was the status quo, but today Vapiano at Gare stole our hearts. Recommend you switch the centers and not go here.

Terrible! Worst service I’ve ever experienced! Waitress asked us in the table to pick up our dinks and food in the kitchen, cheesecake was brought without the strawberry sauce, when we asked about it the waitress asked us to go in the bar to get sauce. When we arrived at the bar, a very rude men said there was no more sauce. After we ate almost all the cheesecake the man came into our table with the sauce he found and even said: “that’s how life is”.Will never return, advise you not to expend your money there.

Total chaos. Nobody speaks English. The new ordering system sucks no clear instructions. And the cashier was really unfriendly. I would not recommend to eat there ever again.

If you want to find out what overcooked, tasteless pasta topped with canned mushroom and undefineable cheese tastes like, order the tagliatelle ai Funghi. If you are looking for Italian food, dont even think about it. Kirchberg is where food comes to die.

The new concept is awful. Okay they serve at the table now but you need to order with your phone, where you need to register first and the site is only partially in English and not very easy to understand. Ridiculous part is - after you ordered you first need to go back to the cashier to pay otherwise they wont proceed with your order. Even more annoying - nobody tells you that in the moment you order.Concept with cards at the entrance was way easier

Pathetic Service at Vapiano. Firstly , we have to order online and pay before food . Then , it took more than 30 mins to serve food.Waiter were too rude when we asked for status of our food.Once we receive d food, it was tasteless and small portion received.Not at all statisfied.

Worst takeaway system I’ve seen in my life. Full of errors and useless procedures. If you don’t have a smartphone or internet connection you can’t buy food in this place.

This place is getting worse and worse. I am surprised how they still survive in this business. I wanted to give another shot after that incident back in April, but I regretted it. Will not repeat.

This restaurant was an amazing experience staff were so nice and food was delicious! Would highly recommend!

Sept 2022: new ordering system is terrible. It used to be an interesting novelty but slightly annoying. Now its just a badly functioning digital menu and ordering system.Food still good.

Had bad experiences with Vapiano in Luxembourg City in the past but decided to give them another try after three years. Manager is a bit of a weird guy. Yelling at customers from a distance.Hes got this bossy unwelcoming touch over him towards customers. Saw it happen multiple times. Cooking staff is friendly. Food is mediocre at best. Prices too high for what you get. Will not give it another try. There are so many better places to be found in and around the city.

Wrong information regarding working hours. Sunday is closed and informed as open till 22h

The prices are high, but the pizza was pretty delicious. I ordered the Caniballe (really!?with a cream sauce base on thick crust and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long while. That said, the cookie cheesecake was quite mediocre. So, save yourself some money and just go for the pizza would be my recommendation.

The pizzas, pasta and lasagna were generally good... The staff were hospitable.... However, the 3* rating is mainly driven by the "Indian curry" pizza which we honestly didnt understand what they tried to serve... The crust was okay... But the sauce and toppings just didnt work well together... Id recommend that they drop this from their menu or find a way to perfect it...

Very rude and unattentive staff. Had to wait so long to pay and leave because the staff didnt attend the cashier even when they can see me waiting. Too pricey considering the food is average and service is close to non-existent.

We were waiting for our cocktails half an hour. Unacceptable service (if you can even call it like thatthe prices are incredibly high for the quality, the ambience is not like a restaurant more like a fast food thingy.I wouldnt recommend it.

We were very disapointed with our experience in Vapiano Kirchberg.We ordered Ravioli, one vegeterian version and one with meat. It didn’t look appetizing, my raviolis were swimming in water on my plate. The portion size were ridiculously small, even for someone who doesn‘t eat a lot. There were only three leaves of raw spinach on the raviolis.Moreover, the stuff wasn‘t friendly at all.And the price we had to pay for this was outrageous. It wasn‘t worth the money by any means.I don‘t recommend it to go there.

Worst Vapiano ever. Staff non professionel and not coordinated. We wait forever for Pasta when there is litteraly only 2 tables aside from ours. On top of that staff is not even nice and has the AUDACITY to complain. I am no Karen but this deserves a ZERO.

Went to the Kirchberg branch for my birthday. The pizza was fine but the pasta could be better. There were too many bees flying around and we had to keep waving them away all through dinner. One bee fell into my glass. When I showed it to the staff, they rudely said it was only one bee (which is incorrect - there were manyand refused to acknowledge their lack of hygiene or apologize. Will not be going again.

We were here to celebrate a birthday party. We were super happy with the staff behavior specially Vincent. Thank you for helping us organize this party of 15 people.

We visited this restaurant last Saturday evening (6 November 2021). A family of 6, with a baby and a four years old. We all have European Vaccination Certificates (two from Luxembourg and two from Greece). The Covid-Check app they had on their mobile would not recognize the certificates from Greece. Our treatment with a baby and a child was HORRENDOUS. They were pushing us outside, telling us there is nothing they could do. They were EXTREMELY RUDE. I called the Luxembourg Ministry of Health and they told us that the fault lies with Vapiano, management and staff, for not updating their APP and that they are legally obligated to accept the European Certificate. They also told me the next time to call the police, because they are violating EU law and our rights. If they do the same to you, call the police. Regardless, the rudeness with which we were treated was UNACCEPTABLE not only from a restaurant but as a basic human being speaking to another. No stars at all.

do not recommend. I came on my lunch break to take away. I ordered a Risotto ai quattro formaggi. as a waiting time it was ok, about 10 min, but the risotto was all stuck together

10 mins waiting at the empty cash register to pay and get out ! No one is here ! Did I mention the infinite wait to order and then the wait to get what I ordered? I will never go there again!

Absolut not to recommand. We were there on sunday at 5pm. 6 customers were in. We ordered together a risotto and a spaghetti carbonara. Also we ordered 2 cocktails. After 15 mins we got the cocktails. They were discusting, nearly pure alcohol. After 25 mins the risotto was done. We waited 15 mins later for the spaghetti, nothing, we asked the lady and she said that it was not yet started. Absolutly bad service, not to recommand

Vapiano is so delicious! We ordered a calzone, chicken breast with salad and the new cheesy garlic bread. It was all great. Great customer service and awesome chefs. I am definitely coming back.

Very unkind staff. My girlfriend had finished eating for half an hour and I didnt even have my pizza yet. worst vapiano experience ever. After waiting a total of 50 minutes the pizza was finally ready. I told the cashier that we didnt want to pay for the pizza and then she agreed, but we never saw a price for a pizza / pasta or the drink. She made us pay 26 euros and that is not much, but we feel that we paid for it anyway because there was nothing on the receipt.

First and last time we went there. Service (behind the counterwas constantly gone and when they returned after 5 minutes no excuse or polite smile to take your order. Same when entering or leaving, no welcome no goodbye. Just other guests looking how long it will take you to get noticed..... Maybe there is an obvious reason why they close down so many of the branches. Starts with offering good service!

Unfortunately we could not order the scampi e spinaci but the alternative was excellent! Great manager who quickly assured a tailored made dish!!

Terrible! The pizza was mediocre, so not that bad, but the place and the toilets were dirty and the waiting times terrible. This was also the second bad experience within the past month. I used to love this place, but it went South. Never again! By the way, it was nearly empty this time, last week or two weeks ago, it was at least clean. By the way, I didnt want to take more pictures, just took a few on my way to toilet, but I could have taken many more. In the end, I also wanted to take another pizza to take home, cause everything is closed and a waitress came to me and said that they will come to take my order in 6 minutes. Again atrocious! Its a shame it turned like this..

The quality had gone down badly. Have been coming here since last 3 years and today got this poor excuse of a pizza.

Will never order again, as suggested by staff.We had ordered (and paidpizzas for a group of 10, and pasta on their Website before 11:00, and got notification it would be ready by 12:00. We arrived at 12:15, and were told to see with the barman. He explained that they dont accept such big orders. We insisted, showing the Website page, explaining we had ordered (and paid!). He checked at the pasta counter, and found our pasta order. He then said we would need to line up after 10 customers to place our pizza order at the pizza counter. We insisted that it was not what the online order mentioned, and he replied we should no longer order from Vapiano if we were unhappy.We had to insist again, and again, so he checks at the pizza counter. He finally did, found the pizzas, and came back to us smiling, and saying "see its perfect, theyre ready!". He provided the names of the pizza counter staff, and invited us to give them a good review.Theres no way I can give a good review for this experience, and will surely avoid Vapiano in the future. Im not discouraging you from going there, just avoid ordering online, and avoiding this person in the staff.

Ill give 3 stars as a result of... pasta: 5 stars, customer service: 3 stars and lasagna: 1 star (overcooked in the top, almost cold after the first layer)

I love the pasta here. I like the concept of them cooking in front of you, but lately it has not been well and the quality of the food is deteriorating. The people cooking clearly seem to not anymore be interested and passionate about their jobs, and thus cooking half minded for the sake of it. This ends up in burning my pasta (has happened every single time for last 7-8 times), leading to this review with 3 stars. If it gets like before, it will be a 5 star!!

While you probably shouldn’t eat this basil, it is still very functional. It tells you everything you need to know about this Vapiano store.Don’t come here. They will not provide the usual Vapiano service.

The salads are okay, the pastas good but the pizzas are not. Good for lunch time and for a bigger group.However, the reason for rating this Vapiano Restaurant with one star is the impolite service at the bar. Never seen such an unprofessional behavior. Not motivated to take orders and doing inappropriate comments in another language (thinking the customer does not understand it).Used to go there from time to time. Very sad... will avoid to go there with my friends, especially if the said person has his shift.

Great Italian lunch spot. Food is always consistently good. The service and staff are great. The location is central to the entire Kirchberg area. Easy walking distance from the Tram or Bus stop. Very crowded at lunch during the week. They also have delivery services through a third party company.

Yummy Italian food!! They’ve long lines during lunch. But, the food is worth the wait. I’m a vegetarian and was happy to find so many yummy options!

Full disappointment with the service level.I visited it for the first time, it was Sunday afternoon. At the reception right by the entrance I was given a client card and was said that No more pizza could be ordered, just pasta and salad, and those could be ordered at the 3 lines in front of me, out of which 1 line was for orders of salads, and the other two lines were for pasta and risotto.What were the issues: 1the part of the restaurant serving clients ordered pizza, seemed to be crowded, and I was told by personnel that “too many clients in the pizza part, and pizza is finished”. So, approx. at 3pm on Sunday they exhausted ingredients for pizza. If it was really true, it just tells about very bad prediction of demand for pizzas in the restaurant, taking into account that the restaurant is open until 11pm!2I spent approx. 30 minutes in my line waiting for other 3 people in front of me to make their orders of pasta. I wanted to order lasagna, and I was badly surprised when my turn approached and the cook told me that lasagna ( which is not pizza nor salad, but which is pasta like), is not here, it is prepared in the same place where pizza is. So finally, it was clarified that they didn’t serve lasagna as well, and they didn’t warn me about that circumstance at the reception. I have lost my time, and haven’t heard any apologies from the personnel about that situation.3Waiting time for pasta could be 2 as less if the two other points of service for pasta worked - they didn’t serve clients on that day.When I was served in Vapiano in Cologne, Germany, I could make my order on the screen by myself, approach a cook, leave my client card and take my seat at a table, waiting for a ring when my order is ready. Absolutely another, more client friendly approach, and no reasons like “no more pizza” even lately in evening.

Great little Italian place with fresh ingredients. Open kitchen and everything is made in front of you. Drinks are great and reasonably priced.
