Vapiano in Lima

Delicious pasta, like always a place to eat without problems. You can order directly using an app and they bring you the food on the table.

I was a big fan of Vapiano before the pandemic but today I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. The pasta was full of uncooked onions, the mushrooms seemed artificial and the sauce overall did not taste nice at all. Same thing for the risotto fungi, it was full of onions and the whole flavour had completely changed from what I knew. The dark chocolate mousse was also very disappointing. I felt overall that the quality of the food had greatly declined in the last years. I do not believe I will return to Vapiano anymore after this experience. It is a shame because it was one of my favourite restaurants before.

We had the chicken Alfredo, carbonara and bruschetta and I must say that the food wasnt too bad, but it was served cold. The food came after waitng for over 35 minutes and in different batches and there was four of us. The food was brought in and dropped on a certain table by different waiters (chatting over the foodThe service was kinda clumsy. It was my first time here and I expected the food and service to be better. The online ordering isnt bad but waiter the waiter that brings the food from the kitchen should just serve a table. Will definitely be back to try your place out one more time.......fingers crossed

Bland garlic bread. Basicly a lump of flat cooked bread. We both ordered pasta dishes, again bland and stodgy, the pasta although in theory fresh has a flourry taste. The grated Hard cheese did not even smell remotely like parmesan in fact it didnt even have a smell at all. The drinks were fine, the alcohol free Mojito was nice. Pepper grinders dont work, we tried 3 different ones couldnt get anything out of them. Toilets are pretty grim too.

The wait to get in was not long at all even though there was a que, when we got in it was very easy to order via the QR. Also, once we ordered we didn’t wait too long to get our food. Food was good but it’s just pasta isn’t it lol but the prices justify it, it’s very fairly priced. So it’s a win for me, aperol spritz was lovely.

Tasty fresh pasta and a lovely setting.Staff were friendly and service was fast.Food was served in a reasonable amount of time and food was piping hot.Was my first time here and I loved it. You can really tell that the food is fresh and as a pasta lover I enjoyed my meal. It was so filling. I love the take away tub you get.Very impressed and would visit again.

Great opportunity to make your own pasta to your liking. We found both dishes to be tasty, especially the vegetarian option of courgette spaghetti (pictures). Service was a tad slow and used plates we’re everywhere. Would return with friends. Their in-hour draft lager was tasty (5%)

This place has really gone downhill since I started visiting it in 2012. The food is still good, although the range is not as good and old faves have disappeared from the menu. You no longer queue at the chef stations to get your food, but HAVE to use the app or website. This would be good if it worked well. First of all, mobile reception is bad inside restaurant. Then, items are unavailable on the app/site that are on the paper menu, such as small Pellegrino water bottles. In order to use the app you have to register, just to order food! I chose the website and used a fake email and name when I checked out as a guest. WHY do they need my details? Finally, when trying to pay for the order that has taken so long to make, the app/site says Apple Pay (the double click you use to pay on iPhoneis unavailable on my browser. I’m using Chrome so this makes no sense. After the long-winded process of entering card details, the order goes through. My food came pretty fast, but my drink took 10 minutes to come, by which time I was almost finished and dying of thirst. All wait-staff I tried to get the attention of ignored me when I tried to find out where my drink was. The music in this restaurant is extremely loud and that awful auto-tuned rap stuff. Not Italian or pleasant or even mildly conducive to having a nice meal or conversation in a relaxing environment. Rethink the music! It’s not a nightclub.

I love vapisno’s food was so delicious and can’t go wrong with my fav gamberetti e spinaci it’s the best 😋

The customer service was awful; some of the employees were standing around chatting, while just the few employees were working. We were unable to get water.I asked and tried to get the attention of two staff members, but they purposefully ignored us. Although there were plenty of tables available, we were forced to wait outside even though it was raining.We were told to share the table with another family by the security guard, which resulted in an incorrect order being issued.The employees were grumpy and unhappy.Pasta was made from scratch with fresh ingredients, and bread was provided alongside. Pasta had just the correct amount of spice, and my request was fulfilled.Garlic bread was delicious, and the right amount of garlic was used.

Nice place, great food. The open kitchen concept is not working now but you can still choose online or at the counter what you want in your meal. Overall, taste is still same amazing.I had Vapiano in other European cities as well - the taste, ambiance and food is very consistent all over.

I visited Vapiano for the first time last week. We were served by a kind young gentleman called Sayhaan. From the get go he made our experience amazing! He accommodated to our seating needs (had short members so needed a lower table!and more comfortable, his customer service was excellent! Super friendly, kind and made some fantastic suggestions….. I had been wanting to try Vapianos for a long time… and Sayhaan really went above and beyond making my first time at Vapianos a time to remember! Will definitely be coming back and recommending to my friends….. I think Sayhaan should train the other employees to be so exceptional! Thank you again!

Good affordable halal Italian restaurant in central London (i believe the only halal branch in London, not sure).They have lovely virgin martini and mojito.Good for families. Waiters are not too welcoming though…

The pasta I ordered (Carbonarawas a bit too rich. I felt like it was a bit too creamy for my liking (though this might just be personal preference). Garlic bread was stale and hard to chew.Overall ambiance of the place was nice. Generally spacious and lots of tables. Though the food didn’t feel like it was worth its price.

My first portion had hair in it, they changed it, and the second portion was oil and no sauce for Carbonara. DO not waste your money.

Vapiano Oxford Street is an absolutely amazing restaurant. We went with our family and we were really amazed with the hospitality of the staff. Entire staff was extremely friendly. Specially Tes & Gerrardo who personally attended us and made our dining really smooth and comfortable. Chef Jagrati made amazing pastas👌👌Food portion was really big. We enjoyed our scrumptious lunch.

Very cool fast food pasta! They have a student discount (20%which is very appealing to me, a poor uni kid! Tes helped us and took our bill separately which was very kind and gave us recommendations. I really enjoyed my food!

We tried this branchThe pasta is so basic even when u order it extra creamy it is still dry. Staff are helpful but the system is very stupid. You can not order desserts for take away, you MUST eat it in even if you are full ! Not encouraged to go again !

Ordered Gamberetti & Spinaci & BBQ pizza. Pasta was great. So fresh and full of shrimp. Didn’t take a photo of the pizza because it wasn’t worth it. Crust was dry & hard. It was bland.Come for the pasta but maybe skip the pizza. Service wasn’t the best as well. They have loads of staff so I don’t know why it was so hard to get ahold of someone for water (which wasn’t on the online menu).

Came here for dinner the other day, slight queue outside, depending on the size of your party. The process to order food is quite simple, you are able to customise your order to a great extent. The food itself was good, the chefs really put the work in. The place itself it’s quite crowded, and very loud, not a lot of room between people, and they don’t have the most spacious tables or comfortable seats, hence why the 4 stars.

Hadn’t been to Vapi’s for ages and it was an awesome treat to be able to revisit a place that brought my my university experience memories back to life. The restaurant was buzzing and since covid it is now a table service whereas usually you queue up where the chefs would be making your food live infront of you, you couldn’t ask for Italian any fresher than this honestly!!!! My friend only eats halal meat so we had to double check it was and we had a lovely waiter come over and serve us his name was Saidi I hope l got that right but he was so patient and understanding and he helped us make our ordering experience very enjoyable. It was my colleagues first experience snd it nearly went south as her starter the cheesy garlic bread went well, it was ace but her main came slightly undercooked to begin with and l thought oh no she wasn’t going to love it as much as I did. They swiftly came over and took the meal back and brought over a fresh new serving for her. One of the ladies that took the food she wasn’t as warm as our main waiter but he did come back to rescue the day as they hadn’t given her Parmesan in her new serving which he ran over to do and we hadn’t been given our bread to go with my serving and he swiftly went and sorted that out too. I know I’ve remembered his name wrong but as a waiter he showed he was passionate about ensuring the customer experience is fulfilling and is an absolutely credit to the branch at Great Portland as it’s not everyone in retail who actually makes you feel their passion and care for you as a customer. My dish was luscious as l always have remembered it to be l always go for the Gambretti Spinachi with spaghetti and extra serving of prawns always and extra cream. I have never to this day tasted anything as good as Vapianos pasta and I am generally not a pasta fan at all. We had ours with a coke and Diet Coke with lemon each and by the time we finished l had to carry take away which they give you the signature Vapianos red and white container we couldn’t move honestly coz we were so full. By the time we left it was hectic and busy with a queue outside for people waiting to come in. Everyone needs to try Vapianos without a shadow of a doubt and if you like spinach and prawns you have to got to try Gambretti Spinachi

Vapianos pre covid was my favourite place to go, food ans atmosphere was great and even loved queuing for food to watch them cook it in front of me. The last 3 times I have been in the 8 months every experience has been worse then the last. And went this Monday ans vowed never again. Under cooked pasta everytime, any small additional request or change not done. Pasta or sauces dont taste the same. School dinners are probably better then what is served. Wonder if having new owners is the reason but never again! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Worst food I have purchased in my 30 years in London. The smell was awful but I thought maybe it was my stuffy nose, after 1 taste I couldnt eat anymore. They even refused to remove the plate from the table and so I had to ask for a container as the smell was awful. I did not take it home. They refused to refund me. Poor food, poor service and they refused to let my friend who suffers from cerebral palsy use their toilet. Terrible

Wonderful, accommodating staff. I accidentally forgot to order my pasta and complained that it wasn’t coming after 1h (it was my fault!and the supervisor, Sidan, personally cooked my pasta in 10 minutes AND gave me a 20% discount. This is how you earn a loyal customer

Good experience the food wasnt to bad but to be honest I did think the pizza would be better. The upstairs area was super busy and very good which was a bit uncomfortable I dont know if the place has A/C upstairs but if it dont they definitely need to get it. Not to sure I will be coming back but thanks for the experience

Worst Vapiano I have ever been to.I have been to 7 different, very busy Vapianos in Germany.It was not busy at all yet the drinks, pasta and pizza took forever to arrive.The mushroom pizza was undercooked. All mushrooms were in the middle which caused the water from the mushrooms to collect and form a pond and being undercooked meant the water didnt evaporate.Went to get the pizza cooked for longer and found the pizza chef sitting on the floor on his phone.The wait staff seem like they dont want to be there.The cleanliness is on par with a bad McDonalds restaurant. The manager and about 4 different staff walked past the mess under the table you can see on the photo. There was litter and rubbish everywhere but the one on the photo took the cake. It was there when we arrived, stayed over an hour and was still there when we left.The only saving grace was that the manager apologised and immediately offered us a full refund for having such a bad experience there, when we explained all the above. Something we hadnt expected.Still didnt get anyone to clear the rubbish though ...

The best pasta Ive had so far! You can order through their app to your table, it has photos of the dishes, which was super helpful.

This place was 100% brilliant, the pasta is fresh and absolutely top notch, I would highly recommend loads of people to come here! Its brilliant!I love this place now, considering it was my first time as well.The only reason Id say it wasnt 5 star was that the orders got slightly confused but Ill give it a 4.5 star and Im sure it doesnt happen on a normal basis as mistakes do happen!Perfect for family and very nice staff that work here and are always happy to helpIts also nice that you order on the app!In conclusion, highly recommend coming here as the pasta is wonderful, I havent tried the pizza yet but Im sure thats also brilliant! If you havent gone here before, definitely check it out!

I tried Vapianos after a long time. I had the Gamberetti e Spinaci which contained prawns, spinach, onions, hard cheese and tomatoes. The pesto flavouring in the dish was yum and the prawns were flavoured well. I enjoyed this. I requested medium chilli, expecting it to be quite mild, but it did have a slight kick to it. I didn’t appreciate the pieces of chilli in the dish.Would opt for the mild chilli next time. It is a filling dish.I went on a Friday and there was not a long wait in the queue despite it looking like it would be. In the past, customers would have to go up and order and wait for their food, bringing it back to the table themselves, which I thought was ridiculous. Why come to a restaurant if you’re serving your own food?! Working as a free waiter! This has in the past put me off going there. I’m glad that this has now changed (assume it’s due to COVID). You can now scan a barcode at the table and order, so much more convenient.

Absolutely loved my first visit. Lovely lunch vibe and I imagine would be good in evenings to. Food came in less than 10 mins after ordering on the app/website. Love the customisation aspect of it. Food was very very nice and large portions for both the pasta and pizza, and even kids pizza (shaped like a bunny for Easter- cute). They also do 20% off for nhs staff, you just show your card and ask for discount code which you put in before paying. Garlic bread with cheese was so delicious!!! Will certainly recommend and visit again!

I visited vapianos today to break my fast; I’ve been here plenty times and today was definitely outstanding. The quality of food and portion sizes are genuinely generous. They’ve got new non-alcoholic cocktails which are an amazing addition to the menu. It’s a very comfortable yet energetic environment. Staff are very courteous. Affordable prices too👍🏾 Welcoming for all ages (they do have a kids menu). Food is halal.

Staff were little bit disinterested for custumer services. Bit frustrated. Beer wasnt cold. And cognac pasta taste was a bit silly.

It was disaster! I know vapino concept from several countries (dilicious), but yesterday pasta bolognese was super disghusting and the worse experience which i have had in vapiani. It contained more onion than meat, would recommend it to rename it to “onion pasta” Terrible and would never go there again.

This is the prosciutto funghi which came after the main course. So be expected to receive your starter by the time you are good with the pasta. Ordered mojito and received mojito strawberry. Absolutely awful! Do not come only at least you are starving and ready to wait 40 min outside for a table.

First time trying the famous Vapiano and the Chicken Alfredo??? Absolutely beautiful. Fast service, friendly staff and amazing food. They need to open more branches in different cities!

Ordered a soup and pasta, and a glass of wine. The pasta comes before the soup or even the wine. Then I saw my bowl of soup sitting at the counter but none of the staff member bothered. Finally needed to tell one of the staffs that I believed that soup was mine. She checked and finally bought it over. It was not even hot or warm. The pasta is very ordinary. I can a better one than this. I remembered that they were much better years ago when I was living around the area. Would not come back again

The dish I got was ‘Gamberetti E Spinaci’ which tasted delightful. I also helped myself with an extra topping including cheese on top which melted perfectly with the lingunie. Throughly enjoyed the meal. Not only does the food taste so fresh, the flavour is simple yet enjoyable. I will come back soon to try other dishes.

My favourite pasta place ever, in the picture is a bolognese tagliatelle with double beef. Very filling and nice NHS discount on offer! There is now table service which is a nice change, compared to the queuing system. Although you lose the experience of watching the chefs preparing your dish

I had the most amazing experience in Vapiano last week. Fabio were such an experienced pizza chef. I was asking him for recommendations and he showed his professional knowledge. Also, his pizza (shown belowwas gorgeous. Very nice dining experience 😊

shame that the system changed but still a great place for fresh italian food. i guess because of covid they don’t cook it in front of you now. you order straight from your phone through a QR code. innovative but i personally miss hearing and seeing the chefs and wok in action.the menu is big with loads of options. you can add and remove items at your whim. and as always it is value for money and it never disappoints. tasty, fresh, piping hot and plenty of flavour. no queues to deal with, plenty of assistance on hand, a speedy service and pretty generous portions :)I really do regret that one time we went pasta brown instead of coming here as we had planned to :( I’ll never forget it unfortunately

Great spot for food. Made fresh and in front of you. Nice atmosphere. They had a nice menu and everything was done online via your smart phone. Scan in the QR code and order. Everything was made perfect.The garlic bread was nice and doughy. Wasn’t over powering with the garlic. The penne was great. It was big enough to share. The kids pizza was ace, as my DD gave it two thumbs.The only downside, some of the staff seemed moody and unhappy.I will come back again .. and hope the staff are happier!Much love ….

We went there for lunch and we have waited 40 min for a simple salad. The arrabbiata pasta tasted like normal base tomato sauces.High price for average food.

Food was really good. You can definitely tell its homemade, fresh pasta.Only reason for not 5 stars is that they dont take bookings. I know covid had been a problem, but we had to wait outside for quite some time, when we couldve avoided that if they allowed bookings like most restaurants do.

I loved the atmosphere and the vibe in the restaurant, the staff were friendly and helpful, and prices were reasonable. The pizza was good but not incredibly good. The chicken alfredo pasta wasnt so good tbh because it was a bit salty and too eggy. Overall experience was great and they offered a cool packaging for the takeaway leftover food. I recommend this restaurant 👌

One of the few restaurants in London that I can say that portions were enough. In addition the prices were very decent too!Unfortunately their online system makes it a dreadful experience to order… It takes too long to go through the multiple pages per meal, and worst of all at the end you can’t pay using apple pay or google pay or even paypal… you have to add a new card to their system… sitting there adding the long number card etc..In addition, due to the online ordering, its very hard to find a waiter and ask for some tap water, as our message on the notes for the order “4 tap waters please” was ignored.Will visit again when all the restrictions are over and hopefully the overall experience is better.
