Very nice hotel with good restaurant and staff. I appreciated my short stay. There is also a pool.

I cannot give my opinion about the rooms. I only went there for a easter brunch with the family. The brunch was nice, but clearly it was overbooked, it was very busy.Service was okay but due to the cicumstances it the forgot some basic things. Like which side to hand over the food, what glass fits whit which drink.

The experience was let down by the buffet. We found some of the diners very inconsiderate. They would pile one plate high with at least 6 servings of salmon and also did the same with the chicken. They would fill bowls multiple times with ice cream. Also in the morning someone filled a carrier bag with fruit and bread. At times there was hardly any food for the rest of the diners to eat. I would certainly not want to stay on a buffet basis again.

Oh that place will stays always the best in our hearts, we go there with work or we stay there just for fun and its always nice. Location is great, place is beautiful, amazing park in the neighbourhood. Didnt kept theyre quality in corona times with the breakfast, but now its getting better. I love that it has swimming pool.

Newly built hotel situated in the outskirts of De Bilt.Can be easily reached by bus, but I would advise a taxi if youre carrying heavy suitcases.The bus stops about 12 min walk away from the hotel.Its fine if youre carrying small luggage, but a bit of a pain if youre carrying20+kg bag.Check in experience was pretty poor as the staff were not so friendly during check in or check out.Room was clean and well looked after, they look pretty new, so no complaints there.We got a room, where the two beds were combined into one with 2 single mattresses. This was very uncomfortable and after the first night, we asked them to change it into a room with a single large mattress, we paid extra 10 euro. The room was bigger and had the big king size mattress, however, the TV was then smaller. So the room was a downgrade and an upgrade at the same time?!?Food menu is decent in the restaurant and is the closest place for food unless you fancy a 10-15 walk to De Bilt town center, however the prices average on around 20 euro for a main meal.In summary, a new fresh hotel, a little bit out of the way and the staff attitude is a little stinky, but does a grand job for the money.

Beautiful place, the rooms are clean and beautiful. The restaurant is a bit expensive but the food was very good and waitresses were beautiful, the staff was very friendly. If you need a place to stay in Utrecht, you should come here.

One of the most Amazing hotels I’ve ever been. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious. I always enjoy my time there.

Room was too cold, thermostat did not work, lots of walking to the rooms, up and down the stairs with luggage, confusing lay-out, definitely not for people with walking issues, breakfast was good, many choises and varried. Would stay there again but not in the winter.

Good breakfast, spacious rooms, uncomfortable pillows and hotel has 2 parts so if in the other part for breakfast you have to change buildings

Good hotel with above average breakfast. My room has been large but pretty cold. Also the way to the rooms in the other building is somewhat cumbersome.

Sad.. the Schnitzel are always that good. 18.50 with some bacon onions etc. Here is worse than in the first snack bar close buy. Totally not the Van der Valk spirit .. cheap all over

There was a little delay at the late night check in and having to carry bags down the stairs was ok but the room compensated all that, could have played tennis in the room was so spacious. Super comfortable bed.

Wonderfull location, a little oases in the busiest part in the centre of The Netherlands. The beds were soooo good, they anticipated the question everybody will ask; "Where do I get that boxpsring?" So, they placed a small leaflet in every room, where you can find those boxsprings. I forgot to print a PDF and the very attentive lady at the reception (Astrid!helped me out without any hesitation, Kuddoos! Breakfest buffet is very good! (If you want a even better one, youll need to go to vdValk Schiphol, where they serve a million dishes specially for the visiting foreigners.

Great hotel. Good vibe as soon as you arrive and extremely comfortable nice big rooms. Staff bent over backwards to welcome and especially over Easter weekend when the hotel was packed, the weather outside was wonderful and they were stuck inside working. The attitude and hospitality towards guests was outstanding. Thank you for a terrific stay, I will only ever pick this hotel when visiting Utrecht.

For more than 30 years this hotel has been serving guests from all corners. In some respects the wear and tear shows. Coffee machine leaks water, rain shower is in urgent need of decalcification, fridge regulator is not working properly, you know, the little things. However the beds are soft but comfortable, turn down is complete, place is clean, good little swimming pool, nice gratuit toiletries, decent parking, friendly staff. Nice place everything considered.

It was a good hotel for the brunch. Big rooms to eat but not that big of a room to get food.

Waited for an eternity. 3 waiters came by avoiding all eye contact. We left without ever being served.

Location is close to Utrecht and near the A27 and A28 highways. Friendly staff and good small scale conference facilities.

Very good service. We had a table inside and we asked if we could be seated outside which was no problem. They helped us rather fast with our order, the waiters are dressed nicely and are very nice

Sonia was our highlight, the rest of the staff can learn something from her. Thank you to guy who brought my doggie bag.

Was there for a meeting. The conference rooms were nicely decorated, the bar was nice and the waiters friendly. The food in the restaurant (buffetwas really good and regularly you were asked if everything was OK or to pick up empty plates. Overall, it was a really nice experience. The only downside is that there are conference rooms everywhere and it was not really clear where we had to be.

I travel a lot and I really love the excellent cappuccinos from Van Der Valk, but unfortunately here it is just average (too much milk, poor cream/schuimlaag).

Great hotel, stayed twice and no complaints at all, nice rooms, good food and reasonably priced. Its a little out of town but with good bus service.

Although with a classic British look with lots of dark brown wooden panels, this hotels meeting facilities and staff are of excellent quality, for those rooms equipped with wide screen monitors.

Easy to Access both drom A28 and A27 highways and close to Utrecht city center. Restaurant is above average.

Great place for business, friendly staff, the hotel seems to go a further than you expect and the food was amazing (I like international).

The hotel staff was very profesional and lovely. We celebrated our grandmothers 80th birthday and had fantastic food. I would recommand this to anyone who apperciates good food and very good staff.

Nice hotel nothing special, breakfast line was inconvenient no place to rest your tray if u want to pick up the food, and the swimming area could use a good scrub. The rooms where nice and clean though.

Very good price for the facilities. Clean, nice toilet, swimming pool. Is outside the city but with the bus is easy and fast.

Attended a VCA course with an exam after that. Very nice location with good facilities. Even the lunch was take care of in a nice and proper way!

the bed was very uncomfortable. The food is really bad. Be careful with the blocking of security deposit of your credit card. After paying my bill, I asked the staff to communicate to their master card transaction handling bank that they have no use for that money anymore. They totally refused to do it. As a consequence my bank hold the deposit for a long period of time.I would not recommend this hotel.

Easy to get to, free parking, free WiFi, food in restaurant is good, not to expensive, service is prompt & friendly. Bike hire is not expensive and cycle paths are behind hotel.

The Valk Hotel Biltschehoek is located at a major expressway towards Utrecht and near the Utrechtse Heuvelrug Woods.The rooms are renovated recently and fully equipped with AC, box spring beds, TV and a proper bath room. I have slept in rooms all across the hotel and the WiFi reception is good.The hotel features an indoor swimming pool and has a decent restaurant.The service is good. The desk can assist with all types of enquiries and handles complaints well, however during peak times, service sometimes takes too long too help.

Great relaxed atmosphere and sublime restaurant- great game menu and even every weekday real Dutch stampot menu. Great service. Surprising how they always manage to give great service even when its full house with many many people coming for lunch or dinner.

Nice location near highways, Utrecht and close to the forest. The service is just fine as well as the menu. Nothing special but fine.

The room was very nice, like in any other renovated?/new van der Valk hotel. Diner at the restaurant is also very good. Great portions and well cooked.
