Our favorite restaurant in Luzern. We are never disappointed in their food and service. Great selection of food, desserts, and wine.

Food is good, waiters are nice, price are normal regarding the other restaurants. But there was an insect on one of the slices in the bread basket. Maybe i didnt have luck.

Really good and authentic food, nice atmosphere

Me and my family had ordered meals, my brothers’ steak was over cooked. I ordered sea-bass and the server completely forgot to put in the order, while the waiters were super friendly, and the food was somewhat good, the service needs to be improved upon.They did give us 4 free desserts as a curtesy.

Best pizza I’ve ever had

Food wasn’t bad, but I have had better Italian food in India. The key reason for the rating is service. After a long wait for someone to take our order, we had to frantically wave our hand to get the server’s attention. She proceeded to not record our order accurately as a result of which she served an additional pizza we hadn’t ordered. When we pointed that out, she argued that we had indeed ordered the unwanted pizza. After that, we couldn’t get out of the restaurant quickly enough. I wouldn’t go there again. A good evening spoilt on account out of poor service and bad attitude.

I have been to Valentinos many times and have always enjoyed it. I visited Valentinos on 22 April 2022 with family and as usual had a lovely meal. I must add that the waitress was really lovely and friendly and the service was perfect.

Please try the pasta bolognesa, super delicious!

A great place for pizza (best Margherita in Luzernand pasta, highly recommend sitting outside in the square (Weinmarkton a sunny day. Service is prompt and not overdone, seating in the lower portion of the restaurant is cozy and perfect for colder days in the fall or winter.

The potatoes were very salty, the waiter had a bad attitude. Not worth the money, youre better off ordering an italian fast food. Better value for the money. Tourist trap.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Town. The restaurant is located in the old town of Lucerne in a very old building which gives a very special and somehow authentic atmosphere.You can taste that the food is freshly prepared and with good ingredients. The pasta I had were perfectly al dente and well seasoned.The staff is very attentive and fast and if you come a few times the owner who has a very impressive memory will recognise you again.Definately a place to recommend for an Italian night out in Lucerne.

Good authentic Italian restaurant with nice sunny outside dining area and impeccable staff, we even received water for the dog and still got served shortly before the closing time. The prices are rather fair compared to what you receive given the local prize level.Thank you very much for the lovely lunch we really enjoyed ourselves!

Good pizza, not the best but good. 1 is enough for one person.Is worth to mention that the service is quite nice.

Maybe we got a table on the worst floor, but it was particularly non-charming. There was a vase with dead tulips in the room and a radio playing bad radio music and advertisements. The pasta was nicely al dente but the sauce was rather tasteless and had watery mini-shrimp instead of real shrimp in it. The pizza Margarita was quite okay, but nothing extraordinary. Prices were reasonable for Switzerland, the food amounted to 40CHF, which also explains the young clientele. In short not a disaster and what saves the place was the very friendly service, but we definitely wont return here.

A nice place to be, pasta perfect, service perfect, wine perfect, friendly atmosphere out and in lunch. I will come again with pleasure.

Very nice Italian resturant. I took a pizza and it was a real good Italian pizza. The price a aligned with the market: Pizza + cola + espresso around 35 chf

My husband had the pesto and it was the best pasta he has ever had. Ever. So good, in fact, he took my phone to write this review. If you’re reading this, stop, and get to Valentino ASAP

The place is all around great. The staff is attentive, the atmosphere is cozy and the service was pretty fast.The pizza is good, I dont think you can go wrong with any of the possible choices on the menu. Expect to pay 19-25 chf (which is the standard price in the area anyway). I recommend ordering their prosecco.

I’ve ate in Rome, amalfi, Naples and Venice but this could be the best pasta I’ve ever had. I wanted to come back the next day to have it again but my wife wasn’t excited about that idea because the prices however I felt it was more than worth it. I had the linguine all vodka and my wife got the gnocchi. Do yourself a favor and try this place.

A great Italian restaurant with Italian staff with delicious food but quite small , for who need the real Italian food this is the right place .

For a quite reasonable price in Luzern you get nice risotto with gorgonzola.Located in the heart of the old city.

Amazing pizza and shrimp pasta. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to us Americans. It was nice to have a menu that also had English on it. Overall great experience and would come back!

great food but lot of people, if you get time this place is perfect. quality food and service.

We had to wait incredibly long before having the dishes. We finished eating near the closing time so the waiter didnt pay much attention to us and we had to wait 10-15 more minutes before having the bill. We went to Luzern Pizzeria for the pizza but they didnt serve pizza for diner (!)

Waited for an hour for the food and the waiters were obviously lying about how they had to wait for us to finish our soup first before they can serve the main dish....well, we have finished the soup an hour ago! But where’s our main dishes?

Real food! Great service. One of the best places we ate during our 2 weeks in Europe!

This place was right outside our hotel, so we stopped for lunch. Tables on a small square, lots of foot traffic and even some cars that were very close. It was what you should expect from a lunch in Europe. My pizza was excellent and the wife loved her simple spaghetti with pomodoro. Worth a look.

We were staying in the area so when we saw the good reviews we decided to check it out for dinner. There were 3 adults and we had been snacking off and on all day, so we decided to share some food since we werent starving and knew we wanted dessert afterwards. When the waiter heard we wanted to share some food his whole demeanor changed and he was incredibly rude and dismissive to us the rest of the meal. We didnt get bread like everyone else in the restaurant and when we wanted to order more drinks he ignored us. The pizza was good, but due to the complete rudeness of the staff we didnt stay and order dessert like we planned and we travel frequently and will definitely not come back here. There are plenty of other Italian pizzerias I would suggest going to another one in the city.

During our trip to Lucerne my girlfriend and I picked up a pizza to share from the smaller part of this restaurant on the other side of the building.Service was quick and prices were very reasonable considering the cost of everything else in the city center. We did take away because we wanted to eat in our room but the restaurant interior looked quite nice and would make for a low key romantic dinner.Pizza crust was thin, cheese was flavorful, and the sauce was just perfect. For the price you cant go wrong with this place if youre looking for pizza in the city center. Definitely recommended if youre on a budget as well!

This pizzeria was pretty good. We made a reservation online, but they never confirmed it, which worried us. They still found a place for us anyway when we arrived. The waiter was friendly enough, as well.The menu has lots of options. They offer tap water, but you have to pay 2 euros for it if you dont buy any other drink. It is free if you do. The rest of the items are reasonably priced for Switzerland. Two main courses + a large iced tea + a glass of wine was around 50 francs.The food came out pretty quick and was very good! The gnocchi in gorgonzola sauce was very rich and creamy.

The pizza with spicy salami tasted good. Prices are very reasonable for local standards.

Loved this place. Found it by chance and ee had a lovely dinner. Food, service, ambience and price were all fantastic! So glad we found it when we did as they were full and had to turn away people.

Seated downstairs. The waitress was great, one person and she handled the entire floor (poor thing). But she was great, the food was great too.

Wallet friendly, welcoming and delicious! In a city of high prices Valentinos delivers well priced food that is worth every cent! Great Italian wines available by the glass for 6CHF. Gluten free pasta on offer.
