Zoo with naturalistic habitats for animals including lions, giraffes, gorillas & elephants.
Very nice experience! Animals looking good and healthy. The installation are very clean and well kept. A lot of freedom for the animals. We liked the fact that different species are together kept as in their natural environment (co-living). Happy to visit again. Entrance price is in good relation. You can see that they take really good care of the animals ans the park. Enhorabuena, Team Bioparc!
Must see! Absolutely beautiful. Plenty of exotic animals. Will go back! I recommend buying the tickets in advance.
Well organised zoo experience. Animals very content and friendly. Great place for a peaceful walk. Outstanding attractions. Highlight for me were elephants, giraffes. The List is goes on. All the animals very happy in the glorious sun.
A beautiful park in the middle of the city with various types of animals from the African continent in it. This park is neatly arranged, clean, well maintained, very friendly for families and children. We bought annual tickets so that whenever we get a chance we can visit Bioparc and its worth every penny
This is a must see! A wonderful place to be! I would definitely make a subscription to go there at least once a month. Perfect for kids!
By far the best zoo you will ever visit! The exhibits after large and natural. The pathways feel like youre in a jungle. Everything is amazing!
Amazing place! Were definitely going back. Everything was so well maintained and the animal enclosures are superb. Its a must see in Valencia Spain!
Bioparc is amazing, animals amazing and its a wonderful experience. But charging me 27eur for entry, 6eur for a locker, 12eur for pictures with gorila, 17eur for an adult menu with cold pasta? Bioparc u can do better than this. Toilets are okay but also not many activities in September. Only feeding of gorila and 3 more smaller events.
Very nice experience and the animals have good conditions. Impressive to walk through lemurs with no gates and see all the animals around.
Arrived starving so went straight to the restaurant for some food, sitting eating our lunch when 2 rhinos walked into view behind my OH!!! Incredible! All animals seem to have tons of room and I love that rather than being caged, they are in environments closer to their own natural habitats.Things seem more sensibly priced than some other visitor attractions we have done while in Valencia.
I would dare to say that this is the best place to visit in Valencia. The park is full of exotic animals, all placed in a background that looks like their natural habitat. In the park there are no metal fences and everything looks very natural, the design and arranging of the park is amazing. Also I liked that the park is not huge, you can visit it easily in 2 hours.
The place is very amazing. The architecture and the methods how they keep animals there without cages is fantastic. Watching wild animals at very close view as they’re free is really a big idea that I recommend everyone who visit valencia.
Simply the best zoo I’ve ever visited. Not a single fence anywhere, a true immersion into the animals’ habitat. Completely wheelchair accessible. The restaurants are plastic-free. I can’t even imagine a better zoo.
Very nice zoo. It was nice that the animals were grouped together. We saw nearly all the animals. The park is designed to make the most of the shade which is great in the hot summer sun.
Well worth £26 I paid each.Huge park, good variety of animals. Shows or feeding times to see. It is a day out so prepare for a great experience. Queue from 15 min before the shows. SIT IN THE SHADED AREAS!!! For shows especially. Decent menu for snacks drinks etc. Not expensive for food and drinksWe had a good few hours.
The most beautiful place I have ever visited. It has such a wonderful plants and scenarios you can basically see the animals are happy in there. Definitely not a regular zoo, it is way beyond!
As an avid zoo-goer, I can say that it is one of the best I have ever seen. its not really a zoo, by the way. it is a biopark in which the landscapes of arid regions are reconstructed with their characteristic animals.
This zoo was really impressive. The design of all of the enclosures allows you to feel like youre much closer to the animals. You dont feel as behind bars as in traditional zoos. The bird and mammal show is not to be missed. The food was not 5* particularly but pretty standard tourist attraction food. The rest of the zoo 100% 5*.
A fantastic visit to a gorgeous zoo. Really well laid out, and some of the best views of animals I’ve seen at a park across multiple countries. The exhibits are well laid out, with multiple animals living in a simulated natural habitat alongside other creatures that would be found there. A huge range to see, and the multi-layer nature means that you can see many different animals at once from lots of views. The food at the cafe was well priced and fantastic quality. Lovely views too!!As an English speaker who plays at speaking Spanish, it was really great to have the staff so eager to check which language I most easily understood to have the information shared in - a welcome extra and certainly not expected!Definitely recommend. 🦁🦒🦍🦓🐘
Probably the most magnificent zoo you will ever visit. The animals feel safe and natural in this environment. It is a happy place to be
On the whole a great zoo and worth the trip. Animals seem in good shape and enclosures seem large and well kept. They have a set schedule for shows, exhibitions or feeding times every day which appear free and well spaced out from one another - acting as a good guide to navigate the park. You could easily spend at least 6-7 hours here if you throw in lunch (the restaurant looked amazing, and is right by the giraffe and rhino enclosures).I will say that the park is large and difficult to navigate, the map given doesn’t really make sense and seems to be barely useable as guide to her around. There are tunnels, corners and bridges that make it very likely you’ll end up walking in circles once or twice.Definitely worth the trip, not quite a perfect score.
Great place - every water feature is working, clean tidy and well organised. Fully natural setting with plenty of natural shade.Happy visit!
Beautiful creatures in a well-organised and designed park. You can feel animals real close. There are free daily guided tours in Spanish and English. It is easy to walk through with children by pram. Photo printing is the only anoying thing, it is not sustainable and quite expensive.
One of the nicest zoos Ive visited. The enclosures are built in such a way as to feel as natural as possible to both visitors and the animals of the park. You will hardly see any fences or cages, it all feels a lot more natural. The theme is Africa and there are only African animals in the park. The highlight has to be the fact that you can enter the lemur enclosure and have them running around you and up in the trees above you.
Zoo like safari. It was fun. It also has an indoor playground for kids. We also saw real rhinoceros walking and hippopotamus playing. Zoo has multi languages educational information and posters. Super cool place to visit.
It’s a must see! It’s the most beautiful zoo that I’ve visited! Animals are not caged and it looks more like a park in the wild. I fully enjoyed this experience! It has a restaurant that’s right on a lake where you can enjoy lunch while admiring the animals! Beware that the Madagascar area is closed in the afternoon for around 2 hours so I advise to start your tour there.
This is the best Zoo (if you can call it a zoo, as it feels more like you are walking with the animals as equals)! Many different species, who are living in big and luscious areas 🤩 It’s clear that Valencia Bioparc give the animals good care, and they are very helpful for customers as well!
The Valencia zoo is not as big as you might expect from other cities. It focuses on animals whose home is a hotter environment, you won’t find any ice bears or penguins here. The animals have plenty of space and live with animals they would encounter in nature as well.Took one of the guided tours in the evening and it’s educational and worth going back to some animals in the late afternoon.I wish their signage in the park was a bit better, got lost a few times.
Beautiful park/zoo with lots to see. It took us around 3 hours to look around there. We had a good day out there. Very well organised and designed. They have so so many different animals. They have places to eat there. Not halal but we managed to have tuna paninis with chips.
Beautifully maintained zoo, thoughtful set up for the animals mental and physical health and quite an immersive experience with knowledgeable staff on hand but their signage to areas could be better
Bioparc is really a great place where you can spend a few hours in nature, surrounded by wild animals. The thing that I dont really like is the photos of you that the zoo is taking at the beginning of the journey and if you dont buy them in the end they are anyway throwing away. Thus, it is not very sustainable what they are doing and the photos are not very cheap ... It would be nice to have them digital and only if you want to really print them for you.
Best 24 euros spent ever! I can only imagine how the kids would love it. A variety of animals, the zones, just amazing! If you go to Valencia please find time to visit! Great experience!
Location: metro or go by carService: your guide are nice but also depend personFood: They have one restaurant and one bar . One of they can see animals very close . This is super cool . But if you want suggest go early a bit to find a place.Price: revenge. If you just go on time you can cjoo buy tickets online and reserver the time you need . This is very important. They also have year pass which is good for family .Inside : its all open area.Ps: they also have different event better check on line first and timetable.
one of best zoo I ever had.well-designed and no cage in exhibitinteresting exhibition23 Euroonline booking is recommendedwell-managedbus stop aroundthere is a big park around
Definitely worth seeing. Africas wild life is well represented in the beautiful park. It provides realistic experience, as if you are walking between free animals.
We liked the park because of the beautiful surroundings and everything is nicely put together. They have a lot of beautiful animals which you can see from quite small distance. We didnt like the price regarding the size of the park. Its actually quite small, was expecting a larger park... you cant bring some sort of food with you, which they dont have written on their site so dont bring many snacks with you, fruits are allowed. In general its a lovely zoo but there are a lot more beautiful and larger round the Europe...
One of the most beautiful zoo places I have ever been! It only took around couple of hours to check all the animals and they were really interesting in a well designed surroundings. Recommend 👍
Very beautiful and worth a visit, but the organization is utter garbage. The staff is rude and unhelpful and they keep re-arrangung the queue even with just 10 people waiting. It takes max 2 hours to see everything in a relaxed manner. A bit pricy but I would say worth a visit
One of the most beautiful places in Valencia, very baby friendly, half of the visitors are parents with children in strollers. It has a couple of restaurants, it is prohibited to bring your own food.
It is more than a Zoo, its a wonderful home for a lot of animals. The Zoo re-creates the natural habitat for all the animals. In the island of Madagascar you can walk and can get up close with the lemurs which stay above you on the branches of the trees. We spent 5 hours here with two kids to see everything. It was worth all the money paid to enter to the parc.
Valencia Bioparc is really nice and very beautiful. It’s very will managed. The price is 23.80 euro per person and there are discount for student and children etc. in valencia you must visit it. Beautiful views, very well managed, very good specially for kids and families.
The best zoo I’ve ever been too! It’s just amazing! Absolutely like in the real nature and what I liked the most was that you can look on animals from different spots👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Awesome bioparc with tons of wild life and scenic waterfalls scattered throughout. Fun place for any age. Highly recommend visiting if youre in Valencia.Expect to spend at least 2 hours here.
Animals are in very good condition and have lots of space although people there are not so nice, only the man in the ticket office spoke English and was really nice. Other workers were not nice at all and didnt speak English at all (I speak Spanish so I understood what they were saying and that is why Im saying they werent nice).
Good zoo to visit. Nice its not just animal behind bars. Some parts of the zoo you can get very close to the animals. Wasnt too busy when I visited which was good. Worth a visit if you are in Valencia.
great day out with the family. plenty of animals to see in each exhibit. the cafe was checking vaccinations, so there was a queue, but once in the service was okay. i recommend if youre tight on time to eat before as lunch ate up a lot of our time.
I honestly loved this place. The enclosures are fantastic as different species live amongst each other. The animals looked relaxed and happy too which I find the most important factor. Plenty of drink vending machines and toilets dotted around the place.
This park is so unique and nothing my family and I have ever experienced... it also spoiled any other zoo from now on 😅🙈Located off the Turia Park, easily accessible by public transportation or car (they have an underground parking garage directly underneath). You can buy tickets online and select your entry tineslot or buy them at the ticket counter. Please note, although the VisitValencia site advertises with it, the Valencia Card no longer gives you a 15% discount! We went there right at 10 AM and had the park basically to ourselves for a good hour, so get there early. The layout is very easy to understand and navigate. There is so much to see and do. Children will have a blast with all the build in tunnels, caves and viewing platforms. Go to the back where the hippos and elephants are and then work your way through the rest (these two spots will get super busy later on). At the Madagascar location you will not be allowed to take your stroller, so you will need to park it.There are hand sanitizers placed throughout the facility and plenty of restrooms with diaper changing opportunities. At the entrance or exit, there is a restaurant with playground. You will need to show your covid certificate to enter. All in all hands down the BEST zoo we have ever been to. Add this to your list of things to do in Valencia!
This zoo exceeded our expectations. Very well designed and kept zoo. We arrived by foot from the historical center (40 minutes by foot taking the path of Turia Parkand the zoo tour took about 3 hours. The zoo has a lot of animals from different parts of the world. Over 10 hectares of natural habitat separated from pradetors only by stones and water. Animals are the best I have ever seen in Europe. It s a perfect place for both kids and adults.I strongly recommend to visit it if you have time in Valencia. It is a must see!!
Amazing and beautiful place to be for everyone who loves animals. Very well maintained and good organized. Will come back soon.
