Val-Bona “the Good Valley”Mesmerizing Alpine Landscapes, peaks in shape of Towers dressed by the trees.

Albanian state must build a new high way.Minimum 6 direction ( 2 + 2 normal traffic / 1+1 for emergency)And this high way must conect Theth Area with Valbona Valley. Both are turistik place.Restaurants must have more variety of foods soups for example.

Not so much to do thereAnd not very good place to rest some tourists which came from Tirana instead to escape the noise life of city they started complain because they want music noise even during 12 of the night not a good place to visit if you want to escape the city life and probably its worse and mess than a city hope that place change and the owners of the guesthouses change that .

Beautiful mountain views and fresh air. Truly recommended because it is such an experience to be in the middle of the Albanian Alps with either friends or family.

If you like mountains - Valbona valley is a great place to visit. The mountains here form the well with a high waterfall in the middle. The views are breathtaking, really worse those sweat that will go down on you while climbingDont forget to wear a good shoes and go out early to see more before the sunset.

Its an amazing park with amazing and wonderful mountainous views. It is great for hiking and for breathing fresh air. Tourists are very welcome here and treated with delicious traditional dishes for very reasonable prices. Highly recommended place. You have to visit it especially if you love nature.

Very nice place, nature untouched some small places where you can drink and eat. In the future big hotels appear. The start is already made.

Beautiful place! Worth visiting. Albanian Alps offer serenity, peace, awe, wonder, relax.A wonderful escape from summer heat and the craziness and noises of everyday life. Also cooking is bio and tasty!

Can any one imagine such places exist in our country? Well yes, god was generous and he gave us the sea and the mountain within a short distance. Yet we are savages and tend to destroy every beauty in the face of the earth. İ really hope the valley doesnt have that fate ( at least whats left of it)🤞

This place is truly the Switzerland of southern Europe its an amazing place to visit in the spring & summer plenty of hikes & view points to choose from. Accommodation is super cheap compared to other counties the same goes for food. This place is not to be missed if you love nature.

A bit of a hassle to get to, but so worth the visit. Did the hike from Valbona to Theth, starting early in the morning. It was well suited for pretty much anyone with a little bit of hiking experience. The views are obviously amazing! Going down is somewhat intense on the legs, but hardly any difficult parts. Most water from springs is ice cold and drinkable.

Valbonë is a village in the Kukës County, northern Albania. It is part of the former municipality Margegaj, and situated in the valley of the river Valbonë, south of the mountain Maja e Thatë. At the 2015 local government reform it became part of the municipality Tropojë.

The Valbona Valley National Park is a national park inside the Albanian Alps in northern Albania. The park covers a total area of 80 km2, encompassing Valbona River and its surrounding areas with mountainous terrain, alpine landscapes, glacial springs, deep depressions, various rock formations, waterfalls and the Valbona Valley with its dense coniferous and deciduous forest.It is characterized by its very remote areas which have a large preserved ecosystem all of which is primarily untouched with pristine quality. This vast pristine ecosystem is the centrepiece of what has been referred to as the Albanian Miracle of the Alps.

Amazing place. Definitely one of the best places on Albania

Valbona is probably one of the best National Parks. It reminded me a lot of Yosemite National Park in California but on a much grander scale. The range of mountains seem to never end and everywhere you look is amazing. Theres trails to hike one camping sites. Some fo the trails arent marked as well so a guide is recommended.

Beautiful place surrounded by mountains. Good place for hikes and photography lovers. Is not so easy to get there and sometimes communication with locals is difficult, not all of them speak English and not all of them are so nice, but at the end they help anyways.

Nice walk from Valbone to Theth. It takes 6hours and I would recommend it only for experienced hikers.

Nice place to escape the heat and crowded beaches. Good places to stay (esp residenza), nice hiking trails ( to theth-6hrsand daytours between 1 and 10 hours. Best to reach by ferry from koman to fierza
