Tasty South indian food
Their main dishes are yum.. the fish curry the kappa combos, chattiporotta... All yum.... Vibe is good..
An Above average restaurant at Al Nahda. Dishes are eccentric in names to attract customers. Like, "PAPPIYUM KUPPIYUM(we eaten), MAKALKKU VANGIYATH, JANGA JAGA JAGA CHAKARA(in sea foodare Lil bit confusing 😆 Food quality is Good!!!. Fresh and hygiene serves. PAPPIYUM KUPPIYUM presentation is excited. Limited seating capacity, No family space, open kitchen only for Kerala style snacks, Live Keralite Appam, Neypathal can be recommendable (we eaten). Menus are displayed in peculiar from usual dining. Parking available, I feel, the pricing of some dishes bit expensive as of quality and quantity. No wheelchair access at entrance.
Food presentation and taste is good but prize is little big
Good food and good ambiance, not waaw but it’s worth for the money you pay that I can guarantee.
A well decorated with nice exteriors and beautiful interiors with nice seating spaces . The staff also was nice and polite. Had a beef item and it was nicely done. Serving quantity is also good enough for 2 persons
Very bad service.Wait food for 2hour. When call them not picking the call.I recommend don’t order food from there.
So far the best lunch at this rate(12dhs). We had fish curry(thick, flavourfulmeals and all the items were finger lickingly delicious.Got to try more of their exotic items from the menu.Friendly staff and ok dark interior. Could be bit more bight and pleasant.
Need lot of improvement such as quality of food and variety. By default they will provide motta rice, we should mention for white rice.
I tried beef fry with poratta ,toomuch salty of beef fry informed to change .After they serve same only salty and they give some beef cury that is below evarage .gys dont try this food. I paid full amount .waisted of my time and food.
Visited for lunch. The veg meals were served on banana leaf. The food was fresh, steaming hot, tasty and perfect for a simple lunch. There was yummy payasam too. Loved it.
Affordable and tasty Kerala food. Lot of combos available if you’re eating alone or with family. Experience is best if you come as a group. Pappiyum kuppiyum and Janga jaga jaga are must tries.I also loved the nostalgic ice malayali candies at the cash counter.
Very normal Parota 2dhs while other restaurant charging 1dhs for tasty parota.Food taste and quality is not upto expectation. No card payment for delivery
Staffs are not interested to take orders, if we call anyone, suddenly they vanishing…. If we go infront of them and call they not minding …. Very bad service … PN: Seniour citizens also will be there in vehicle ,alteast Please give a respectAll the best
Food z not much tasty like before! Heigine also need to improve!
Amazing food & delicious, all associates are warmly and Great service.I’m really appreciate your taste, and atmosphere.
One of the best place to dine, specially if your choice is to experience a perfect, tasty and authentic Kerala foods. I have been a regular customer for 3 years and very happy with the experience and foods they serve. The dedicated staff will make your dine more enjoyable. Special thank to Mr.Vineeth for the great customer service.
I had a great time eating delicious food at your Hotel Al-Nahda Dubai. The waiters we’re committed to great service and were great friendly. Most importantly Food was so tasty I definitely liked so much. All the very best to Ustaad Hotel & the crew for serving Good Healthy food.
Very delicious food and excellent respect from Mr.vineeth and the owner mr.Anoop I recommend this restaurant for every one you will like Indian foood bcoz of this restaurant
Tasty food, lots of variety dishes available you have to try .Dine in space is limited ,still worth to dine with family .cost also reasonable .
Chatty chir literally made me home sick, Pure gold food. But very poor service and staff they wont even explain you the menu proper!
Good Kerala style restaurant. Different options for lunch. Liked the Chatti Choru. Beef option is very good. Nice economic options for lunch and dinner Combo. Clean family friendly place with helpful staff. Was not crowded for weekday lunch. Has a good variety of seafood options as well. Also good for Kerala style snacks and tea.
A few days before, with some good expectations, I visited here to try their Chatti choru. There were like 3-4 customers seated before me. I gave the order and waited there for like 15 minutes and my food was not served. Then I called the waiter again and asked him why my food was not served. Then he went inside to check and then came back and asked me What you ordered? . At that time, I understood that my order wasnt placed till that time. This is a time when a customer really loses his temper and starts hating the place. And without apologizing, they again took the order and, after a few more minutes of waiting, they served me what I ordered. And talking about the food, I had beef chatti choru it was good. But couldnt enjoy properly because of the above mentioned reasons.
We ordered "Janga jaga jaga chakara" alias Seafood bucket...good for 4 persons..have option for gheerice n porotta with seafood..the gravy was really good..soft drink is also included in the option.
No words to say their Chatti Choru & Palli Choru. Mind blowing 🤩🤩🤩
Had chattichoru.. liked it so much
The best chattichor in townChattichor lovers can visit this placeNaichor chattichor, beef, seafood chattichor all available
One of the over hyped restaurant in Dubai. Foods are average in taste and pathetic customer service. In my experience their popular item Chuttychoru doesnt meets the expectations (few numbers of side dishes and below average taste). When we asked about the pre booking they said not available and they made us wait there for around one hour. But at the same time they let some of their known people in even without the booking and waiting. Also their customer service is very poor and the seating arrangements and hygiene condition deserve only negative comments. Never recommend this place to any one.
We had chatti choru and palli choru. Both were really nice. The food is tasty. The only downside is space. Theres isnt much space inside. However the food was yummy.
If you are a ‘chatti chor’ fan , no second thought get going to this restaurant!! Really worth for its price, but the customer service is on poorer side, that’s what i insisting me to rate3/5, beef biriyani also more than expected level, often i go and dine in, but the cashier looks reluctant if you pay using zomato pro and all those stuffs, apart from that everything is super fine
I ordered a vishu sadhya... mine was a last minute request but yet the same was accommodated. Right from the call that I made for enquiring to the delivery and then the food I must say has been awesome. My in laws are here and they commented that it is absolutely lovely taste, there is absolutely nothing that was short of being tasty. We loved it thoroughly.Last years experience with a different restaurant was not good so I was skeptical to order from out...but I am happy I ordered from here.
This place would have got 5 star if the iterior was nice, but the food was amazing.Quantity, Quality and taste at very affordable price.I really wish i could have given a 5 star
Tried their beef chutty chor,Taste and quantity was average for the price and very bad service.Too much time for your order and staffs were less attentive.
Great delicious food which comes at a very reasonable price. Polite staff.Beef Chatti choru is a must try
We visited Ustad Hotel as a group of four and tried one of their specialties, Sea food bucket which was recommended to us by a friend. Without a doubt, it is one of the best seafood buckets I have ever had. It came with king fish, squid, prawns, crab and mussels with paratta as side. The gravy was spicy and delicious and the whole meal was worth what we paid for. And we would definitely go back again and try more
Really nice meal with Kerala style rice with options of beef, chicken or prawns. Id recommend beef over the others, they have beef fry, beef curry, cabbage dish, yoghurt, etc...
A small kerala restaurant which serves very good dum biriyani and lot of local malayali delicacies....must try are their - chatti perak, palli chor, chemeen cutti chor etc....also their cool drink options are also refreshing like - kulukki sarbat....
I tried chatti chor today..it comes in chicken, beef, prawns etc..it was very tasty and for around 15aed its worth try. Beef chattichor includesRice, beef curry, beef fry, cabbage thoran, pappadam, curd, chammanthiFinally had some nannari sarbath which was refreshing tooYou can find RTA parking in front of the hotel
Fantastic lunch. The chatti chorru, comprising of a matte rice very well mixed in a mildly spicy masala along with two piece chicken fry. The rice comes in unlimited and the chicken fry adds an additional charge of 5aed. Finally to cool all of it down you get a complimentary payasam. Also a must try is the passion fruit sarbath which was mildly spicy with sweetness.
Food in traditional plate reminds me of healthy village food. Great experience.
Varieties of malabar dishes are available here with equally trendy names but missing the wow factor. The place is in a busy location, gets easily occupied as seating is less. Its a lively atmosphere nevertheless and an enjoyable experience. The plus point is the pricing which is very attractive.
Went to this place by looking at some above average rating, expecting some basic vegetarian food.+ RTA parking right across the place, so no issues on that front.+ Very kind and helpful staff.+ Staff told that the place is good for only non vegetarian food.+ Parotta was good.- Ordered Egg curry and paneer gravy. Not so good, so you can avoid these dishes.- Very less options for vegetarian food. So it wont hurt, if you skipped this place.
I really loved their Chatti Pattrika and its my first experience having that one and I tried beef Chatti Pattrika. Also the chicken biryani was good I really loved that biriyani rice flavor.💗Passion fruit kuluki was too sweet I think sugar paani was too high , it didnt meet our expectations.☺️There we can use Zomato ProAnd both cost 15aed separately excluding VAT
One of the best option in Al Nahda for kerala dishes. I like their Chattichor and fish curry dishes. This time we ordered kerala fish curry meals and pallichor . Meal was served in banana leaf. There were not much items in the meals but the served fish curry, sambar and mango pulissery was awesome . Normally I don’t have sambar with fish curry meals but this sambar was really tasty . Meals was worth the money . Pallichor was served in an aluminium bowl. There were ghee rice, beef curry, chicken fry and raita in this combo. Ladies finger was also added in beef curry . This we felt as an average dish .
Visited two times and always worth to effort. Little bit crowded during lunch time and staffs are struggling.Order will take little long to serve but the wait will not disappoint. Beef peratt too good. Also they have a small counter for chai pedia to serve tasty samavar..
Its one of the nice south indian restaurant in that area.Their main dish is Chatty Choru, its really delicious and less expensive. If you are south indian, you must try it at least once from this restaurant. Most of us will expect that, the beef chatty choru might be more tastier than chicken. But its vice versa, the chicken chutty choru is more delicious that beef. If you are visiting there as a team, try to order both the beef and chicken, then you can realize the difference in the taste.Only the main headache is, you have to wait a huge time to get a table on weekends.Taste - 8/10Ambiance- 5/10Staff attitude- 6/10Location- 9/10Value for money- 8/10
Inexpensive lunch, Tasty and good quantity of rice and other side dishes. Had to wait a bit longer because it was a public holiday.Air conditioning wasnt good either hence we were sweating excessively. Car Parking is available freely all around the restaurant. Definitely recommend to try out!
Uruliyil and Cheenachattiyil are quite a twist to the usual norms in practice of how rice and the sides are served. The curry, the sides and everything else comes in a single pot (or whatever it isand the portions are generous for an average person. The dishes are tasteful, especially the Beef Gravy which I believe will go very well with Ghee Rice. The Beef Fry was crispy and very spicy (very very spicy).Menu is reasonable, with the Cheenachatiyil and Uruliyil costing between 10-15 AED.The place is quite spacious for a small restaurant and very well kept.
Ambience- very simple, yet attractive.Food: excellent, authentic Keralite cuisine, traditional dishes.Tried kozhikoden kozhi biryani, wheat parata, and a special chicken dish dat I cant recall the name. Lip smacking.Service: friendly staff and prompt service.A place every Keralite must visit!!!
After hearing so many reviews about their Ramadan dishes, I went to try here. As we went quite early for dinner, seats were available. We ordered Qalbinte Tawayil which had a bowl of rice with chicken, beef, squid rolls, fish and prawns. Its worth the money and specially squid rolls were too good. The pathiri and Putt were soft. It went well with lip smacking naadan beef curry. The chicken curry what waiter suggested did not go that well.Overall it was a good experience and want to try more food items from there.
