Early 20th-century electrical power plant-turned-arts venue, with 2 auditoriums & gallery space.
For all the people who enjoy art and cinema I strongly recommend the Usina del Arte
It is perfect to go with kids!
The "Usina del Arte" is a former electricity plant renovated and transformed into a Cultural centre for the city of Buenos Aires, it hosts many activities and has several auditoriums.
Beautiful place!😁
Culture
The exhibition center is amazing, tge building is beautiful. It is very difficult to understand how any government could Build such und ugly highway infront of such a beautiful building.... hiding its beautiful facade.
Wow... its a beautiful place, where you can see many things
Its a great place to attend meetups and do networking.
I love it , a great place for art lovers
This place was used as Covid19 vaccination post and my first time, Im impressed how its so nicely maintained and the architectural style is so fresh. Highly recommend visiting this place if you are nearby, and after you can take a stroll in Puerto Madero and have a nice coffee or brunch.
Went with my bf to get his vaccine at this location, everything went smoothly and good, the place is magnificent and when the pandemic is over, I would reccomend to go here
I went to get vaccinated - for whats its worth, the place looked great and has a very positive vibe to it.
currently Its an art center. A building from 1800, which was officiated by electricity user of the firm Italo Argentina that provided electricity city to Buenos Aires. Ceilings me more than 6 meters, windows giant. It has several auditoriums and art galleries. In the summer there are shows In a large courtyard on a cobblestone floor. In the pandemic they collaborated with vaccination.
The Usina del Arte is a beautiful renovated power station, form the days when they built such things to be impressive. There is a constantly changing program of events.
Huge building that was some kind of industrial complex. Initially I thought it was a daycare because there were lots of kids and parents coming out of it.
Wonderful facility that was originally a factory. When I went here, there was a huge party happening in the courtyard with a DJ playing some awesome beats. On the inside the facility was clean and well organized.
Beautiful place with great acoustic features, most of their concerts are free.
Awesome building, it has a great theatre well equipped for presentations and shows. The people at the reception desk are very welcoming and available for answer all kind of questions. The only thing I would say is that is located near the highway and you have to walk through a not recommended path to get there (kind of lonely and insecureI recommend you get there by taxi or in groups.
Nice concert space. We went when there was a great art exhibit - so yeah, nice place to visit.
Great place located in the Arts District in La Boca, stunning Architecture, tons of cultural activities to do. I highly recommend to attend at least once in your life.
Fabulous building with a fantastic theatre inside. My visit her is to watch the world tango championship held here each August. Small Cafe just outside the main entrance, this could be improved. Lifts available to get to the uppers floors. Wheelchair accessibility good.
Its a pretty cool family place. My kiddo liked every single activity but the virtual reality game was the one he loved the most. You have to line for long minutes to get in some events but its understandable since its a public place.

Very nice acoustics the concert with Kirk Lightsey, Mark Whitfield and Santi Debriano was excellent and very well received.
We are glad we went to check it out. Free entrance and interesting exhibitions. We also attended a free show (didnt make reservations and got inand loved the space. Only wish there was more around it to do.
Amazing place to visit in the city, with artistic exhibitions and community events going on at all times. A bit too busy for my taste, but fun nonetheless.
A great place to hold conferences. Very antique and quaint. It used to be a power plant before. Now its a museum of sorts and recreational center.
This place is just culturally amazing! A must go!
Beautiful old building recycled for seminars, expositions and many other social events.
Wonderful place for music. The neighborhood still needs to improve. There used to be vehicles to leave you close to the avenues at night. Now its better to get there by car
Interesting building, sometimes they have interesting musicians, but not cosy at all. They have a tiny cafeteria in a neighbour where you have no many options where to seat and drink a coffee.
Great performances and activities for a lazy sunday morning. Excellent option for families and couples
Great place in order to enjoy classical music in a world class concert hall.Every sunday 11 am you have a different chamber music concert for free. There is also many other activities and kinds of music you can enjoy there.
Beautiful building, keeps Argentine culture both in the outside and in the inside. Excellent service and very nice work exposed , well located, in front of a beautiful large green space, in "La Boca", a beautiful city and next to the Cinema Museum.
They had tango festival when I went, amazing concerts and dances for free. I have never had the pleasure of seeing and hearing such amazing musicians. What a great country!
Amazing building with lots of activities. If yo want to get in any program, Id suggest you to go early in the day
Gorgeous building, cultural center, graphic art, cooking seminars, concerts, right in the heart of the Boca Jrs. Birthplace. Leave at sun down, sketchy neighborhood. Dont show off your expensive cameras
I loved this place, the industrial building is beautiful and well worth a visit. A wonderful auditorium for eg classical concerts and exhibitions on display. It also boasts a nice coffeebar with snacks (cake, sandwich, salad).
A very interesting place for exhibition and music
A beautiful building, ex power station recicled into a theater and big open spaces for art and cultural. Be early because there is a shortage of parking spaces.
Its a very good place to visit in Buenos Aires Autonomous City. Its quite easy to arrive there, since its lain in La Boca Town. Many cultural exhibitions are carried on in there, usually free or low-cost.
Excellent place to experience concerts and art exhibitions.Majority of the events here are fir free. They do ask for ID, so Im not sure if tourists can avail of the free option. But if you go with a local you can always get 2 tickets for the given event through your friend (sho must have an Argentinian ID)
I went to an open talk with Jane Goodall. It was great!
Super nice building and when we visited it was free.It was only after we entered that we realised that there were absolutely no shows on that day! Doh!Still, it was really cool to see and would definitely love to come back and check it out when something is being shown.
Great place! Where art, design and music met in one place...
A lot of free activities and very active in the art. Its a very nice place to visit and you should look up for the weekly agenda to be sure not to lose anything!!!
A great place for art exhibitions and musical shows, it consists of a large space with many auditoriums and sufficient structure for several simultaneous events (most free). Check the schedule in advance, and arrive at least an hour or two before the event to pick up the tickets.
Beautiful place to visit! The streets are not very nice at night but it is a must tour visit! I suggest you go with visited guide tours they are really complete!
Interesting site and georgeous building (complete with imported English red brick), which has been reinstated to lift a long ignored part of La Boca. Known as the art factory (fabrica de arte), by the locals and offers some excellent international exhibitions whilst the surrounding streets are filled with street art from an international collection of muralists. Dont stray too far South (stay within a two block radius), as it is a complicated neighbourhood.
Avoid going by bus. This is an old energy supply company turned into an art center. Beautiful building. Very interesting place to go for -often- free of charge events.
