Urlias Stream in Katerini

Beautiful walk along side the river. We didnt get to the last waterfall, stopped before to enjoy the natural pools.

One of the best waterfalls in Greece! Very clean.Easy to access by foot.

Worth the time and energy to get to. Just stunning! A photographers paradise. The water is mountain cold but the swimming in the pools and waterfalls is both invigorating and felt somewhat spiritual. Its a must do if you are in the area. Make the effort to do them all.

A small and charming waterfall into a pool of clear water. Beautiful site. You should notice that next to the sign there are stairs that go up to the track above, its a long and beautiful track, but not really easy. The waterfalls and the small pool are to the right of the sign, the access is on a fairly wide dirt road and you get there after a 5 minute walk. If youve walked more than 5 minutes, youre not on the right track. The site is beautiful and highly recommended.

Some of the most beautiful waterfalls and pools in all of Greece

Fantastic place for hiking and exploring. We had the chance to spend some hours there and enjoyed the cold water with fresh air. Sadly I got cold feet and didn’t jump from any waterfall (it’s probably forbidden anyway).Luckily we went around 11 am when the sun was just about getting above us, so it made the drying process quicker. Also, the parking is getting busy at noon time.

Amazing spot for hot summer days. Freezing and crystal clear water. There are several sharp curves on the road, right before arring the waterfalls parking area. Park on the side of the road go by foot with the path after the Stop sign.There are paths diverting from the main path. Short walk will lead you to two amazing pools with samall water falls.

Great easy trip, very scenic waterfalls, no people around 11am...

Please be very careful when you go to to Orlias Stream!!!!!Do not let any valuable things in the car.We have been stolen all of our stuffs in the car while we were out swimming (Wednesday 30th June).Watch out for a green polo Volkswagen (plate number YHT-5350)

Great getaway from the heat! Very cozy and charming waterfalls with clear waters. Most people go for a swim, although I understand this is against the Olympus national park rules. Dipping your toes should be fine, though

Very beautiful place. Dont miss the turn to the main waterfall. It is 100m from the road. A bit tricky to go down, but its worth it.

Really nice spot! Enjoy the stream and ice cold waters to jump in.There are 2 waterfalls, one easily reachable, one more difficult( to the right of the path)Must go if you are in the neighbourhood.No tickets, no lines, just nature

Very short walk of about 5 minutes toward two waterfalls.Too one is easy to reach, the lower one needs a bit of climbing.The location is beautiful but also quite touristic: in summer I expect it will be very busy!

Beautiful waterfall with easy access by car and then a few minutes working. Once going past the gates at the end you will reach the waterfalls at the end. There is also a path going down where there is another nice waterfall so don’t miss out!

Don’t expect to much, but is is a nice waterfall.2 actually so do not miss out the second one who is little further. Not a far walk from the car park, but only for those that are able to climb a little. No allowed but in the upper you could take a nice swim.

"chain" of several waterfalls, with clear, refreshing water, where you can swim in the naturally formed pools. Magnificent views, refreshing dip, well worth the visit, only 20 min drive from the wonderful town of Litochoro (which is amazing to visit on its own - for its many churches, monasteries, tavernas and restaurants, beaches, and breathtaking views of mount Olympus!!!).

Oh I love it here. It is one of the prettiest most easily accessible waterfalls around!I go there 4 times every summer and I still cant get enough of it.The water is very cold, around cold tap water temperature, understandably.You can jump from many places into the water or have a swim in the water stream.You can also go out for a small rock climb if you are into it.Lastly, just so you know this place is very crowded every year.

You can always go for a swim at the wonderful waters of Mount Olympus or you can book a canyoning trip and have the time of your life 😁 In both cases be prepared for a bit of hiking, so take adequate water and proper shoes.

Beautiful waterfall in the mountains. Very picturesque place and worth visiting. Make sure to bring your swimming gear, as you can try to swim there. But water is very cold.

Very beautiful place. It is know by people, so you should not go at the weekend. Also it is easy to get there.

Lovely little natural pool with a stream. I recommend to take bathing shoes with you because of the stones.

This is one of the most beautiful and interesting areas around this territory, you can spend time hiking, climbing, swimming, cliff jumping, shooting amazing photos and videos, or even relax and spend the day in the forest! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to escape the summer heat, or even have a mini adventure there during winter ! The water is always super cool in terms of swimming in it, although it generally gets warmer during July, August and September! You will apparently have to bring a second pair of shoes, or flip flops since youre guaranteed to mess up the first ones in the river!

Fantastic! Although the drive is a bit twisty-turny towards the end, it’s so worth the time and effort. A series of waterfalls and pools—all accessible via paths—provide swimming and exploring opportunities in a gorgeous setting. The kids loved it, despite the cold water.

Ourlias stream! Helicon River aka Ourlias where Orpheus got murdered by the drunken maenads( worshipping Dionysus). Its absolutely gorgeous, especially on a hot summer day. A local said that if you take a bath in there youll be healthy all year long.

Small but gorgious waterfall hidden in an impresive gorge just above the village of Dion. Five minutes walk from the road.

Cool wild pools and waterfalls. The firs one is recommended but more difficult to reach. Rocky steep trail down, right to the main trail ( not marked)Chill water, quiet, nice spot of nature.

Easy accessible, 3 minutes walk after parking the car, besides the road, 2 waterfalls we visited, cold but clear waters, beautiful set in an oasis of green!
