Urban Spring Shopping Mall in Acacías

Love this area. Movie theater. All kinds of restaurants no matter what youre looking for. HAS BECOME MY GO TO. My kids have different personalities and different tastes. They all enjoy coming here for food and entertainment..Thank You!!

Cute place. I went several times during my stay. The mall was busy on the weekend. The movie theater was spacious. On Halloween kids were dressed up doing events.

This place is adorable and reminds me of a small area in Rockville. Lots of restaurants and shops, but the weed issue cannot be escaped. People constantly smoking outdoors is annoying when youre trying to enjoy a meal with a friend or a walk.

First time in a long time and I love the food there.

Good selection of restaurants, conveniently located close to Montgomery County College and Veterans Plaza. Entertainment opportunities include AFI Silver and Regal theaters, the Filmore and other local, but limited music haunts. Nighttime security, once a minor annoyance, is increasingly a concern on some of the less-lit streets and some municipal parking garages. Vehicle racing, abusive drivers and street noise detracts from outside dining and other entertainment. Downtown is rowdy and getting rowdier.

The developers need to attract on or two successful non-chain restaurateurs.

Its nice for the youngins to "hang out" @ night time. There are tons of restaurants & outside seating & even live music in the summer time & theres a movie theater & shopping stores. But its a hard pass for me. Too busy & too congested. Its crowded everyday, all day & almost everyone is smoking in the streets, ugh! You cant get a decent inhale of just fresh air @ any time of any day. Its not for me. I will avoid it @ all cost if i can.

Where diversity is real. I love hung out down town you can find good food , cultural diversely restaurants and so on lovely

Nice downtown with plenty of parking in garages, free on weekends, and lots of interesting shops and places to eat. Has a more DC than MD vibe.

Very clean and attractive! It reminded me of 1st Ave in Jacksonville Beach and the landing/downtown Jax when they have the art walk! So very colorful and well kept!The scooter rental station was such a great addition! We dont have anything like that in the area I live.

Cool area! Music in the park and lots of restaurants and shops.

Nice ambience sitting outside people watching. Police presence was visible, you could feel the safety.

The GPS and metro together have us very clear directions. It took no effort at all to find AFI. Silver spring certainly has changed and the sidewalk from metro station to the theater was well kept.

Busy and vibrant on a Saturday Night over Labor Day weekend. Love seeing people out and about. Some were wearing masks, it was all good.

Fun and unique restaurants sprinkled among your regular favorites like cold stone creamery, etc. Sometimes street performers and generally welcoming community.

Downtown silver spring is great. It got a bit of almost everything. Live entertainment, restaurants or any situation, clean, amazing library, metro accessible, good place for kids & adults(separately).

Very lively and plenty of outdoor seating.Outlets for charging devices near Red Lobster, Dog Haus courtyard

We visited this mall but some of the escalators didnt work. Some of the stores like Ross and TJMax look worse than thrift stores. Very messy

I grew up here and still love it. Its been great watching the transformations over the years.Update I still just love it here so much!

I love living in downtown Silver Spring. I’m close to everything within walking distance. Metro, many bus routes, shopping mall, many different restaurants to choice from, library, concert hall, and many many more. Gotta come check it out.

Nice downtown different restaurants and shops.You will find: H&M + Ross + marshals and other stores. There are many activities held in the weekend. Nice place for family and friends.

More security presence, more light around and water fountain for kids, means more family stuff.

I love to go and walk and visit the stores and buy what I see and wear in one hour :this place is super convenient the parking is big and the shops are popular we love to go shop and eat there . We highly recommend this beautiful place .

Lively...lots of people everywhere representing all walk of life...busy for a Thursday, but its good to see people out and about...keeping this areas local economy looking as though its thriving.

Plan ahead for parking, and consider the fact that a car is practically useless in the area. Stores are okay, but most close before 8-something.

Great evening to be downtown. There was live music, good restaurant with outdoor seating options, and even a street show. It was a good evening to be in Downtown Silver Spring.

I had a great time it was like visiting Jamaica during the festival the food smell delicious the people were nice a great time indeed

What an amazing place to go. My husband and I took in the Heritage Festival and had a blast! Looking forward to doing it again.

A great environment, livelt and energetic, and always something going on. At night it can get sketchy either then that its relatively safe

Wonderful array of shops, restaurants and theaters -- but be careful in those parking lots, they are like the bumper car rides at the carnival ! BTW, not a bad neighborhood to have your office located in, for all the reasons cited above. Just be careful and watch out for pedestrians -- because they have the right of way, believe it or not.

I adore this area. Everything is walking distance which is just a couple of blocks away. Overall its a very nice area with a diverse array of stores and restaurants, public art pieces like sculptures and street murals. The area also has a variety of bars, lounges, and clubs that Im sure can supply entertainment for people from different backgrounds.

Aye! Not 4 nuthin, 4 ineXpensive pizza, it gets the job done. They tend 2 have good deals & the pizza is not bad. The wings leave much 2 be desired but the pizza is on time.

This area has come a long way. About 10 years ago, I avoided it like the plague. Now, I actually enjoy a walk through the strip on the weekend. Theyve also improved the mall. Definitely on the up and up.

Moved my daughter down there today,! Had time to get food,and explore a little. Me and 9 family members! Everyone loved it! So much to do,so close, so clean,a lot of people out having fun!

Went to Matchbox with some friends food was great alcoholic drinks were nasty. Definitely want to explore the area more in the summer time we went on one of the coldest days. Waiter attitude was horrible as well so most likely won’t be back at this particular restaurant but somewhere else for sure.

Great location. Ice skating is open and the square has shops and food. Its on the public bus lines & the metro. There is street parking/ public garages. It is a busy area so be alert and secure your belongings. Overall enjoyable

Attended the Annual Thanksgiving Parade, large crowds and many bands, floats, and numerous participants made it another memorable event. I like how they make free parking available in their covered public parking garages. Safe event, plenty of security on hand, event also televised by local TV station.

I enjoyed my time in Silver Spring yesterday at the Halloween event for kids; I took my grand-daughter. Its such a culturally diverse city and the people are cordial. At times however, they can seem a bit cautious of you, but overall the people there are nice.Silver Spring also has great eateries. The Ethiopian restaurants are amazing!!

Great atmosphere! Lots of great people...live music....great shops....restaurants.

Beautiful square and downtown area! Throughout the summer there seems to be lots of festivals happening. The architecture is absolutely stunning and there is a wide variety of restaurants and shopping for visitors to enjoy. Lots of spots to sit and people watch or relax too.

(April 1, 2021Havent been in downtown Silver Spring in awhile. I forgot how much I love it. Since Im over here living I goin to use my time to get to know the city. Its beautiful

Fun place to walk around. Lots of malls, library, theater, gym, Whole foods are all found in close approximately.

I love this area. Just as expected of a town it is very central with a variety of businesses. There is the mall, parking lot, supermarkets, a movie theatre, subway, and so much more. The area is clean, seemingly safe and it is conducive to small gatherings. Oh and BE sure to try Nandos restaurant- they got some tasty spicy chicken.

I love silver Spring downtown! Its a small downtown but beautiful no matter the season. Summer time kids get to play and have fun . Winter is cold but still fun with a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations. If you like skating, its the perfect time!

I L❤VE this downtown experience! Silver Spring has a nice variety of restaurants and lots to do including shopping at the City Place mall, Dave & Busters, ice skating and a beautiful movie theater. I also like that you can choose from three grocery stores ... Whole Foods, Giant and Safeway.

Downtown Silver Spring is great for dining and drinks. There are several great restaurants and bars. I give it a five in that regard. Where it lacks is shopping. City Place mall has just never had a decent lineup of stores.

Downtown Silver Spring is a great place for families - especially with small children. There are tons of restaurants, a great closed off area where kids can run, a splash fountain in the summer, a huge Regal movie theater with stadium seating, a Whole Foods, and a great Farmers market on Saturdays. Also features live music and/or performances most weekends and some weekdays and an ice skating rink in the winter. An easy place to spend hours! What a long way that area has come!

If you want spend really good time you should go there. Clothes. Food. Cinema. Everything is there. Parking is free on weekends 😏. IMAX there is awesome. Other awesome place to try is "Arepas Pues" Colombian food. Perfect for family, Friends and why not also for a date 😊
