the rooms may have seen better days but i really like the resort feel of the hotel in the middle of the city. the staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. i wont mind booking a room here again in my next visit.

The location of a relaxing place inside the city is perfect. The pool is well maintained. Rooms are pretty basic. TV is awkwardly placed though. No hit water. Rooms are clean though and with a table to eat. Personnel are very courteous. They also serve righlty - priced delicious food. Food is not available 24/7 but the location is near plenty of food places.Theres also a parking area outside.

Stayed in 2 bedroom condo overlooking Petco Park! Location, customer service, cleanliness, amenities were all superb. Urban Sands was incredible to work with on our vacation in San Diego. They were so responsive and friendly before, during and after our stay to ensure we had everything we needed to make the most memorable experience. We will definitely use Urban Sands for our next vacation rental!

Welcomed with a wave of smiles, the staff and employees were very much accommodating.Considering Urban Sands as a boutique hotel, I could say that it exceeded my expectations. The place welcomes you with a cross between contemporary and tropical vibe that sets you in a mood to relax.The rooms possess a romantic atmosphere that is not too dimly lit, and has a beautiful view of the scenery by the pool because of its wide glass wall.The pool was maintained well, clean, and the water was not heavily chlorinated.The food were scrumptious.A dinner for two, we ordered from their Specialties category, the Pork Steak and the Southern Chicken sets that came with a healthy salad on the side and fries and as for short order, fried dumplings.For breakfast, we were served their complimentary breakfast that came with the Deluxe King Reservation. Their special Longganisa and Tocino with Coffee and Orange juice.Upon checking out, we ordered some more Specialties to go: Pork Back Ribs, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Salisbury Steak, and the Fish Fillet. Flavorful and filling.There is consistency of quality to their food, services, and hospitality.A good place to have a staycation and a vacation. As for me and my husband, a vacation from work at Urban Sands is truly rewarding.Special thanks to Ms. Christine and Ms. Zhel and their team who assisted and accommodated us during our stay at Urban Sands from January 12 to 13, 2020.Looking forward to coming back.

Friendly staff, comfortable and safe place to stay, good food and nice location within the city

Easy enough to find as it is infront of the city highschool. The rooms are all around the swimming pool which is nice. They also provide extra towels when you swim. I personally dont appreciate the bossa nova sounding covers that start at like 7am so thats the soundtrack of the last hours of sleep. Make sure to consume breakfast right away since leaving it alone for 5 mins will attract the ants. Wanted to get room service on a Saturday night because of strong rain and they didnt have the burger and beef dishes, my thinking is just that it would be fine if they already took this out of the menu so expectations are set.All in all, pretty good stay and it is a reasonable 3 star hotel!

I highly recommend this to anyone.. Staffs are friendly. Even the guard on duty when we arrived and left the hotel where accommodating.. Room service who assist us during our stay also commended.. Clean room. Foods they served was delicious.. I personally liked the set up of their rooms where all of their rooms are accessible to their pool.. The only thing I find missing is that they dont have free toothbrush and toothpaste (which I forgot to ask them why anyway). However, our overall stay at this resort was remarkable. Will surely visit this place again (and wont forget to ask for free toiletries).

Nice hotel in modern design with a large pool in its garden. It has an ok restaurant. 7/11 within walking distance. Very near the bus station.

Loved the place. Youd never thought that this place is located in the city. The place will make you feel like youre far from the city and near the beach. It has a pool. The room is quite small but it was good. The place is amazing.

Signed out in 3Star category but in real it provides 5 stars in accomodation and service. Everything is super clean and the staff is so helpful and friendly. I seldom stayed in such a nice hotel. The food from their restaurant is delicious and worth every peso. On my next stay in Iloilo I will book here again. The hotel is located between two big streets but is quite calm there. It is like a oasis in Iloilo downtown. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the cottage next to the pool.

The place is cool. Its not big but it has a good ambiance. Staff were so friendly and accommodating to all their guests. They offer a really good food from breakfast to dinner. The pool is also nice with palm trees and makes you feel so relaxed. The pool is open for visitors until 9 PM but hotel guests can use the pool until 12 midnight. Rooms are not that big but its clean and well equipped. They also have function room that can accommodate up to 40 people. The mini bar is also open until 12 PM. The room rates is also good. Well probably book this one the next time we are going to Iloilo.

Service is great and friendly. I also like having Filipino breakfast besides the pool just outside the room. Place is cozier than the usual hotel. Public transportation is very accessible and the public high school is just across.However its a far from the Smallville or the Pison area where restaurants or the river area are walking distances. Price in the internet is also variable and I think we paid higher than usual at the time we booked.

I love the tenderloin tips with mashed potatoes..The service is good and the waitresses are friendly and beautiful. They took pictures of me while I made my food +Calligraphy hobby.Two thumbs up for this restaurant and hotel.

A lovely friendly and well run hotel in Iloilo City. It is clean and tidy. The 12 rooms are quite spacious and have aircon, refrigerator, flat screen TV, cable, CR /shower room and mini bar. The rooms are serviced daily. The swimming pool is well kept and clean. Breakfast is included and is plentiful and well presented. Filipino and Western food is served. The lunch and dinner menu is varied and good portions for the money. What really makes this hotel stand out are the staff. From Quincy the Manager, the restaurant staff, front office staff, kitchen staff, maintenance staff to Den Den who services the rooms, they always have a smile, ready to help, friendly and professional. It is a short taxi or jeepney ride to SM mall, bars and restaurants. I highly recommend this lovely hotel.

love the place... in the middle of the bustling street but still cozy and relaxing. the staffs were really nice and helpful a 5 star ilonggo hospitality... the place was well kept, rooms nice and clean. love the resort set up and for us with a special kid it was an awesome set up with the rooms near the pool. not only did we enjoy our stay but our kid loved the place, cable tv, wifi with descent speed and was accessible inside the room (the basic requirement for our kid), the breakfast meal that comes with the room rate was equally good.rate is a bit pricey comoared to other places to stay in iloilo... but if you are there for a relaxation and unwinding its worth your money... but if you just need a place to sleepover then off to your next iloilo adventure well you need to check out other places, coz if you stay here then you might reschedule your next adventure for you will be wanting to enjoy the place more...

The staff are hard worker. Clean pool.they even assist us to get car to rent. Only thing I dont like is they use smelly fabric softener to scent the room which actually harmful for human lungs. Aside from that everything was great.even the food is great and the services....

Ive stayed here back in August of 2017. This is one of the best places Ive ever stayed in Philippines. Staff are extremely professional and service is top notch. They made me feel like a royalty. Keep up the good work.

It was a two night stay from Aug 31, 2017 - Sep 2, 2017 and I was with a friend. Lets start with the check in, early check in wasnt given to us so we had to wait, but it was fine because the staff arranged the cabana so we can stay there while waiting for the room to be open which I think was sweet and kind. Even served us welcome drinks. When check it was already the perfect time to check in, we were just so amazed, inloved and mesmerized by our room. Its not that big, but it was comfy (Queen Roomand it smells good. We swimmed at night and the neon lights at the Pool was just so awesome. Id love the ambiance. It was so relaxing. Breakfast is good too. They have fruits and juices and all that kind of stuff which was good. The pool water was magical. And We just loved it there!

Lovely city getaway. Nice relaxing pool and ambiance. Friendly staff. A bit noisy but you re at walking distance from Molo and lots of transport options around. Varied menu, both Pinoy and international. Great choice of breakfast (but powder juice).

First to impress me is the hotel ambiance. The rooms are clean and spacious and breakfast is sumptuous. I always book hotels based from customer reviews and ratings. This hotel did not fail my expectations. Truly budget friendly and all staffs are customer friendly. Its like staying in an upscale hotel at a modest price.

Great accomodation amd friendly caring staff. The rooms were extremely comfortable, self control aircon, private shower, swimming pool, wifin and a small restaurant. Nice for a short visit a couple days or a week. Its a 2 minute walk from Molo Terminal ,which connects you to Antique going north.

Theres no other place like this... clean rooms, very accomodating staff,,, especially the manager..the food is very good.. everything you spend in this ressort is... "SULIT".. a nice and relaxing place for family bonding..parang nasa bahay lang...for me i give 10 Stars...hahaha...a lots of of variety of food, appetizers, and drinks...a place you would not want to miss..If you want to escape and relax from work and busy life in the city... this is the place to be...

Urbans Sands Resort in an oasis in the middle of a concrete jungle if you blink you may miss it so when you find it and enter through the front gate you never want to leave it is a beautiful place the staff from reception house keeping and general service are so friendly helpful and informative I cant wait to go back there I was even thinking about having my wedding there

I rated this very nice hotel located in the city score of 10. Everything is perfect. Food are great specially the pasta marinara. We spent five (5nights with smile on our face when we left going back to Manila. All staff are very friendly and courteous. Breakfast is superb.100%, I will recommend this place to all of my friends in Manila and elsewhere in the entire world.We left footprint in the sands in URBAN SANDS HOTEL.Congrats to all of them. Friendliest staff in the world. When you enter the hotel it is like you enter a dreamscape separate from our realm. I did however have problems with wifi (it disconnected frequently and the shower drain didnt work at one point but the staff fixed that immediately.

Love the idea of an urban oasis. Service is great! Food is excellent! Rooms are nice! The fact that it has only a few rooms means you can really relax and unwind coz it will never be crowded! The best place definitely to stay in iloilo.
