Union is a bit of an underdog in the bar scene in Missoula, but it really is the best. All the staff are incredible but Kal is the gal to look for. Quite possibly the best/most likeable bartender youll ever find.The kitchen was always your standard bar food but its been amazing lately, if I dont get the chicken and waffles special at least once a week, I dont know if Ill ever be happy again

Went to open mic night. We had fun, except all our food was way over cooked. One pitcher of beer was a normal size pitcher, the other one we all got must of been a soda pitcher, because it was half the size.

Great place to experience some Missoula Culture. Nothing fancy here, but authentic old school bar and music.

Nice place to go if you want to get away from the wild young crowds. There is a nice age range of patrons and capable bartenders.

Dive on in- awesome shake a day, frequent live shows, clean service. Popular for college crowd so order the trash can-when in Rome

Glad I made a stop here. The bartender was an awesome fella. Made a few friends that hopefully I meet again in the future. Spacious location for drinks, mostly a younger crowd. Few pool tables and slots machines. They definitely played the good jams. Would recommend!!! Lots of plaques various different unions. Will come back one day.

Love this place... just staying across fromU of M missoula. Walked uptown and luckily found this place ! Great dive bar Id say. Everything perfectly hippy old ! Love it ! Kudos to chef in back, her food is wonderful !! Ill be back someday from Az !

Awesome bar with Karaoke on certain Monday nights. Bar staff was great, drinks were delicious and inexpensive.

I had no complaints I was bought a Pepsi and bartender was friendly.the place was clean and comfortable with a old fashioned charm of the 70s.no complaints from me.

A great place to have bite and a drink. Makes one feel like Jimmy Hoffa is about to walk in. Historical in its own right. Definitely a place to visit.

Weve had great food and service each time we have been. The last time our fries did seem twice cooked, super greasy and burnt/stuck together but I think the cook was having an off day. 😪 theyve been great each other time!! Barstaff is always friendly and plenty of space inside for pingpong pool, and habging with friends. Thanks for the warm welcome!

Its a great bar, but loses points for having a picture of RFK on the wall. Not very Pro Union seeing as RFK headed the operation to bring down Jimmy Hoffa

Excellent dive bar! In town on a road trip from NY, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Bartenders were kind, so were the locals. Karaoke night with KJ Katie was an unexpected plus! Everyone was supportive & nice, food looked great too!

I came here 7 months ago and I still think of the burger. The burger alone makes me want to move to Missoula.Cash only place. Funny story, I was short a couple bucks on my bill and I was out of cash. My atm card had just expired. Bartender was cool about it and took a £5 British note I had to cover the rest! He seemed like he knew everyone in the place as well, good guy.

Nice this is open again. Love the atmosphere, friendly staff and good drinks. Good spot for music and dancing.Always a good time. Haven’t tried the food but I’ve heard the burgers are really good and fresh cut fries.

The bartender I meet that day was polite n daft was clean meet some new ppl. The fries just need a little salt but everything was better then what I memeber like 24 yrs ago. Even has a stage which is cool.

Great live music and dancing. They have bar food available. I would give it a 5 if the bar area wasnt so slow while its busy. Its just because the area is so crowded and hard to move through. Most people arent even waiting for a drink.

Its a good thing I went with good friends!the staff all seems to be pretty good HOWEVER there was this young blond bartender who had the audacity to follow me into the bathroom AND WAIT right outside my stall and badger me while I tried washing my hands because I guess she thought I stole a glass or something?im not exactly sure what she thought. I asked for a glass for a canned drink that was at my table...... It was literally on the table . .... Super weird experience tonight but usually a good time

The staff people are lovely, the clam chowder is to die for, and the grilled cheese sandwich is honestly the best Ive ever had. Nothing fancy at all, but really, really good food!

Super fun place to dance on a Saturday! Cash for Junkers was a great band! The dance floor is big and the atmosphere was hopping. You can get burgers and fries if youre hungry

One of the Best places in Missoula for a pint, conversation and music. The bartenders are second to none in Zoo-City. Enjoy your stay at one of the longest bar tops in Montana. Great pool tables. Good food. Excellent selection of your liking. And nope- I dont work there. Just enjoy the place.

An awesome dive bar! The Drinks are always strong and they have a nice variety of bar food- both of which are affordable. If you have the chance, make sure to go to comedy night and see some locals dish out cringeworthy jokes and if not that, make sure to see Joan Zen belt it out- she kills the music scene.

The food here is AWESOME - but a bit pricey. Drinks are good and strong, but again, a bit on the pricey side. Service was awesome, and it has a hip feel hut still a bit classy. Also joined with Al and Vics so you can walk right through to the bar for a quick change of scene.

We have our Union meetings there local 189 they seem to serve public and union members pretty well they do have a couple pool tables they serve alcohol burgers and theyre setting up for band tonight Ive never been there to party but looks like they are setting up for one

Great place to end the night after a show downtown. Went here after a couple shows at the Top Hat ended early or wanted a change.There is generally some great dancing scene going on here on the weekends and they have food now, too which Ive not tried, but I hear good things.The bartenders have always been sweet to me for the decade that I have infrequently visited.

Have not been in this bar in a long time but their live band was really fun. Another good place to dance in town for local bands. Good place to start a date in downtown. I highly recommend coming here for a local feel. Its a must for any out of towners or locals!

I felt out of place because my boyfriend and I arent locals. They people who are obviously regulars, sitting at the bar, were treated with a lot more respect and warmth. Why are we tipping when were not being served at the table? Customer service is not just for the locals...we live here now and wont be going back.

I cant believe it they turned off a Packer game during the event. You just dont do that. Despite the fact it was like 50 some degrees outside it was very warm inside poor exhaust system. They have the smallest mixed drink classes Ive ever seen in 40 years.

We always stop by here during a hockey tournament every year. They usually have really good entertainment with the music side of things. The staff is friendly but when we have been there they do not have any food service or restaurant component. However, you can order in.

Its fairly generic. For what it is, it seems good; fair prices for a few local beers along with the cheaper options. Its a local bar with a small town feel. It should be noted that Im here on a Thursday night, so I may not have the full experience.
