Underground Creek - Tourist attraction in Warwick, Australia
Underground Creek in Warwick
Description
Privilege
It is a family friendly walk and very beautiful.
Easy to get to. We were luckily enough to visit after massive rain falls of over 50mm in one night.
MoreNice easy walk.
This place was more than we were expecting. The underground part is very cool. It’s easy to overlook the plateau on top. Not the safest path but you can climb your way up the creek. The safer path is to walk the path off to the right hand side until it seems obvious to turn left and walk over the rocks back to Hidden Creek. We got lucky due to all of the recent rain so there was a lot of water flow.
MoreAn easy walk to the creek. Once arrived it was difficult to know which way to go and navigate around the boulders. We ended up crawling underground with the kids which was an adventure. I would suggest kids being at least 10+ for underground trek and only found this after talking to locals. We took our 7 and 9 yr old girls and they didnt have the ability to reach and climb.. Dad had to carry and lift.
MoreJust a stunning spot for a swim and jumping around the rocks. Watch out for turtles!
MoreNice short walk
I love exploring around here. Easy walk, interesting to climb up through where the water would normally be. Looking forward to seeing water running through here again.
MoreFascinating spot where the creek falls through multiple deep plunge pools before emerging below a large granite boulder.
MoreAwesome place, amazing rock landscapes
So unusual... well worthwhile in either the wet or dry
An easy and mostly flat undulating hike to the rock fall but take water. Lots if birds and lizards to see along with the rewarding rock fall at the end.
MoreExcellent short hike for all the family.
Nice place for a swim on warm day
Ride from Girraween Day Use Area to the carpark. Short walk with some steps to the Underground Creek.
MoreA very pleasant walk, especially in Spring when the wild flowers are out. It is a very well maintained track, as are most of the tracks in Girraween.
MoreA secret not many discover when visiting Girraween NP. With the short walk, then scramble inside the caverns.
