Umm Al Quwain- Beach in Sharjah

One of the most beautiful beaches in the UAE, great spot to spend the evening with clear and calm shores to cheer you up.

The beach is perfect for swimming and playing. It is suitable for kids and adults . The sunset is clearly visible here. sea water and beaches are clean. there is no shower tap here.

The beach is okay with shallow waters most of the times and sandy beach floor. They now have life guards on duty who will whistle to swimmers at around 6pm to keep people off the waters. There are light posts installed a few meters now from the usual shore line. Parking is a bit limited and tight with small traffic circles on either end for vehicle traffic buffer.Cleanliness could still be improved though. Sunset is majestic across the horizon specially when it isnt gloomy.

An amazing beach in Umm Al Quwain, A small request to everyone who ever visits this place, please do not leave your garbage on this beautiful beach, whatever you bring please take it back with you. And your trash should be in trash bin there are enough bins you can find.🗑

Beach is good but never know when it is closed. We have had 3 experiences that we drove from Dubai and was surprised to c that was closed for public

Nice beach but the part that is available to the public the part where it’s not owned by the resort has a lot of sea snails we don’t know but some sea snails can be poisonous but the ones I encountered were not poisonous

Very beautiful clean natural and wavy beach unlike other beaches in UAE!But there are no changing rooms, toilets and showers! Beach is very live though.

Most the steps to the beach washed out. Little bit dirty on the shores with food waste and call. Can be maintained better. Sunset view is somewat convincible.

Must say that Ive seen better beaches than this one in UAE.Let me point out few good thing about this place first1. Its very calm and quite and much less crowded when compared to other public beaches.2. Water is clear and clean and there is enough space to swim without going into too much depth.3. Barbecue spots are available and people who love that will have a great time here.4. Road side is well constructed with seating options and parking options available. (Free Parking).Now i must that there is more negative things around here when compared to positive things.1. First and foremost thing - No public toilets available.2. No place for dress changing and shower.3. Even though water was neat the beach premises look very dirty, there are so many left overs after BBQ done around this place. Left overs of Charcoal, BBQ stands and even found chicken bones, one need to be really careful if walking without a footwear.4. So many left overs of algae and shells on the beach side and in some area it looks so horrible and we will feel difficult to walk by.5. Some areas by the beach there is so many sea shells in water and it will be quite difficult to walk by.6.Ships are parked as a source of attraction.This place even taken care in a much better way can be transformed into a great public beach in UAE.

This beautiful public beach at UAQ always glues me up, whenever I give it a visit. There is an outdoor gym area along with kids play area. Access to Kite beach center and water activities area. Serenity by water waves is felt clearly. On 15 minute drive from beach, there is access to area where we can swim, do the Bar B Q etc too.

It is a great escape if you live in Dubai for a weekend . They have an amazing beach which is also a Dog friendly . We had a nice time during the weekend and they are a side walk which is extremely good for people who likes to walk or do jogging. The weather there is cooler than dubai which makes it easy to do any exercise or sport activities.

The beach is one of the nicest in UAE . But unfortunately ppl keep making it dirty and it’s not being cleaned properly compared to other beaches in other Emirates. But it’s so beautiful and clear waters, I strongly recommend this place.

One of the Best natural beach in Umm Al Quwain . Amazing clean water with wonderful white sand . If you are beach lover and like to swim this is the place for you. There are lot of sea sports just nearby at kite beach center. from this beach you will have a never ending view of open sea which will amaze you. this is the place to take sun bath and relax.

Nice place to chill with family.. shallow water so its safe for kids to play. And there is an abandoned ship that is stationed there.. only issue is you have to wait for parking during the weekdays..

As usual the place is nice, neat and windy. The beach is still natural and waves keep coming on the shore. Exactly the way a beach is meant to be. Evening walks by the beachside at sunset is a pleasure.

Its nice sea shore for families and friends. Sea waves are not much high. Water level in the sea shore is reasonable depth. Kids and small children can play and swim in certain distance along with the parents.Appreciation to UAQ Municipality1.jogging track is available that is good for walking and jogging2.Car parking facility is okay.3. Small shops/mobile shops and exercise places are provided.Request to the UAQ municipality:1. Rest room is required adequately ( No rest room available as of now)2. Dress change room/wall partition will be highly preferable after and before bathing In the sea.

This is the best beach I have ever visited in UAE. Sp peaceful and calm place to enjoy your evening or morning. In weekends, bit crowded in the evening, but still not that much as compare to other beaches in Sharjah and Dubai. They are also having a barbeque spot at the beach, which I did not visit yet. I have heard that it will get open in the winters. I have enjoyed sunrise and sunset both at this calm beach and seriously, I wasnt coming home, I was sitting next to the waves till ll ate night.This beach is very clean.Parking issues on weekends.There are no Cafe, so bring your own drinks if u wanna enjoy.There is an open gym.There is a platform for running and walk.There is private beach named Kite Beach, where we can go for paragliding, jet ski.Explore by your own.Good luck.

The place is definitely the best beach I have visited in UAE... Ive been to Al Mamzar Beach Park in Sharjah and Lamer Beach in Dubai but this is the best for me since the shoreline is long, the waters crystal clear, establishments do not crowd the place and its NATURALLY there. I dont think enhancements have been done here.. Personally I like how natural this beach is... The sunset is incredibly great and if you are extremely lucky, youll get to witness a flight of migratory birds whose aerodynamics is simply breathtaking to watch... Bringing a good camera [which regretably I didnt have that time] is definitely a MUST DO😅

I think this is a hidden gem but maybe cause we went on a Friday in the middle of the day? It felt like we had the beach to ourselves mostly, and its gorgeous. Bring a picnic and spend the day on a near deserted beach.

Water is super clear.Theres couple food trucks around but they were all closed. I believe they only operate in evening.Couldnt find any public restrooms.

Lovely family atmosphere with a beautiful scenic beach to boot . The kids will have fun either splashing about in the lovely sea or messing about on the jungle gyms and associated activity outdoor toys. Definitely recommended for families with children .
