I ordered dinner for the family on a Friday night on Uber Eats. We got a large pizza and garlic bread with mozzarella cheese. Also got one slice that was meatball and vodka sauce. That slice was definitely my favorite. It had a deep dish crust and was very tasty. The regular pie and garlic bread were pretty good too. Would order from again.

You must Get the buffalo slice from here with blue cheese , I am new to the area and just moved 2 months ago , been trying to find a good pizza spot for the past 2 months and this is the place !!! They have the best buffalo pizza I’ve ever had on Long Island , will return again and again !!!

I hate to say this, because the veggie panini was delicious, but the meatball parm hero was a huge disappointment.Almost no cheese, scant sauce, and hard, dry meatballs. A few bites and it was enough.I have to say, the bread was excellent but otherwise nothing I would ever order again.Really sorry.

Giovanni was very rude to us as we were making our choices on pizza slices. Pizza was burnt on the bottom. Staff were friendly otherwise. Not returning until the manager has an attitude adjustment.

Best pizza in Sayville in my opinion.

Staff choice of pizza was outstanding. It always delivers a quality product here. My only complaint and Im not even taking a star off is that the pizza is so damn hot when they reheat it. If you could only leave it in for like maybe 2 minutes less, my mouth would love you more so.

They should change the name to yumbertos . We eat there all the time and its never been less than perfect. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I discovered this is certainly not a place to dine in and eat. It would be nice if they had a restaraunt side with waiter/waitress service. The awesome thing is this place has a vegan menu with great selections!! If youre looking for vegan food to take out this is your spot. They dont skimp on toppings or portions and the menu is moderately priced.

The food is absolutely delicious. We are Vegan. They have a separate menu 😋 just for Vegan food. I highly recommend this 👌 place.

I just threw out 100.00 worth of food. I will start off with my husband who ordered the pasta puttanesca horrible. I ordered the vegan eggplant Parmigiano the eggplant was raw in the garbage and dont get the plant based stuff peppers. My sister ordered ziti with grilled chicken in a vodka sauce so salty. I will tell all my friends and I live in a gated community to stay away.

Great vegan food choices and the pizzas are delicious! Garlic knots are phenomenal and their marinara is the best Ive had at a pizzeria.

Thursday night is pizza night w my 10 year old daughter.....she always walks in alone because she feels safe and is welcomed like she is part of their family....so the result of having friendly relationships with business owners...IS..a happy little girl that loves her community!!!

Just pick up a sausage parm. hero and it was the worst hero I ever got. The sausage was slice and tasted as if it was sitting for a week.. hardly any cheese on it as well. Last time I will go there.

My wife got me manicotti. It was very salty. Not one ounce of ricotta cheese. All mozzarella. I only have had manicotti with ricotta in the past. This was terrible. I will not be going back.I still have an aluminum tin filled with it if you would like to explain it. I can also post pics if you would like.

I usually love this place and won’t go anywhere else in the area but my girlfriend and I thought it was very salty tonight. I see a review today with the same thing. Maybe something to look into? Overall best Italian in the Oakdale/Sayville period.

Very disappointed in the regular cheese pies here. They are the worst Ive had and believe me when I say I love pizza and have frequented most except umbertos of Sayville. Highly over rated pizza place.

Tired of asking for a thin crispy crust and having to put it in the oven after a over cheesey mushy crust. At 20.00 bucks a pop and $5.00 tip, I would like what I asked for. My order is now in the oven again

Passing through from Alabama and someone recommended this restaurant. Boy am I glad I stopped! Absolutely amazing pizza and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I asked the guy behind the counter what he recommended. He said the "grandma" a slice of deep dish, and after seeing the "margarita" I just had to try it. Everything tasted fresh and was out of this world delicious. Ill hopefully be delivering to the rail yard close to here more often and when I do, I now have a go to pizza restaurant to visit! Kudos to the owners and the staff, you really have a great thing going there.

Usually good especially if you dont eat animal products.Got my order wrong though and never replied when I emailed them about it. Most of the time its really good though.

We had the vegan "grandma pizza" last night, it was amazingly good. I would bet that even most non-vegans would really like it. Well be back, thanks for the vegan menu items Umbertos !

WOW!! I am so impressed with Umberto’s. I am dairy free so their vegan menu is amazing. I haven’t been able to have quality pizza with DF cheese out in so long. The wings were really good as well!

5 stars all day , they forgot my chicken for my meal , they made sure to re make it and have the fresh food to me super fast!!!!!! Mistakes happen its how you fix it that matters!!!! And the girl on the phone was amazing , you could tell she was happy to be at work!!!!!!!

Even though there are like 12 pizza shops in the span on 2miles in sayville I believe that Umbertos is different enough from sals that it hits a different want. In my eyes this justifies it since some times you want the more soft and foldable pizza from sals or the firmer and cruncher Umbertos.

****Update**** I gave them another chance, and, another and, another and, another and.... Theyve been perfect each and every time on both food and service!!! My experience below was just a one time thing since I went back. Love this place!Order a pie on a weeknight 8:56 PM. They say 20 mins. Show up 20 mins later, theyre cleaning up and starting to flip the chairs over on the tables, counting tips and clearly setting up to close. Never put my pie in though. The girl said I only called 5 minutes ago. Took almost another 30 minutes to get the pie. 50 minutes total for a grandma pie. Havent had that issue with other local places. The complete lack of customer service was the final straw. Many, many better choices in the area.

Pizza was very soggy and greasy. Cheese did not taste like fresh mozzarella. Very disappointed. Only came here because I told my boyfriend I want a really good pizza and he told me he gets a lot of orders from this place with door dash. So we decided to try it. Was not to our expectations

The fact that I dont see anyone talking about how good their regular Sicilian slice is blows my mind. This place 100% rivals every pizza place in New York and in my opinion their Sicilian is the best in New York.

Just came by to take out a regular round pie. Even their was around lunch time I only had to wait around 10 minutes. Service was friendly. The pizza was pretty good, above average in my view.

This is simply one of my favorite restaurants on long island. Here’s why.So many authentic italian restuarants hold on to their old way of doing things. That’s fine; I respect that. However, Umberto’s retains that fine Italian food, while introducing the most amazing VEGAN ITALIAN menu I have sought after on this island. Rivals Three Brothers Pizza. Vincenzo from Umberto’s of Lake Grove, you’ve outdone yourself.Try the vegan pizza.

Umbertos vegan menu is top-notch! vegan meatball parm hero is delicious. They use daiya cheese which im not a huge fan of but the flavors they incorporate with it make up for it. I would eat the vegan knots every day if I could!

Ive had Umbertos pizza a few times. Its incredible. However, like most pizza places, it depends on whos making it. I have had pizza from here when it was very good - but not its best. Thats most places. That said, I cant give the pizza at Umbertos less than 5 because overall - its delicious and the staff is very nice.

The vegan menu is just phenomenal, the sauteed spinach with white beans were absolutely amazing, the vegan cheese slice with meatless meatballs amazing, garlic knots unbelievable, stuffed peppers amazing the pesto pasta was flawless

Excellent pizza made to order. Love it. Flavors are on point. Ive lived in the area for 12 years and had been going elsewhere because they were closer. No more. Ill make the drive for better quality and pizza made how I want it.

I’ve had a lotta good pizza in my day. Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queen’s and here on Long Island.Umberto’s just took first place here on the island! Just had a slice of their pan pie and chicken Marsala pizza. The sauce, crust, cheese,,,all really excellent. I highly recommend trying this pizzeria.

Me, my wife, and my son drive 30 minutes just for take out from here. I eat the vegan pizza and vegan garlic knots and they are amazing. By far the best vegan pizza I have ever had. My wife orders the Greek salad and my son gets regular cheese slices and they are never disappointed. Thank you so much for having vegan options! Very delicious and worth the trip.

I ordered in during the pandemic, and the service was amazing but what really got me was the food. I ordered a few things because the menu is amazing and couldn’t decide what I wanted to try. The chicken francese was a bit different than I am used to but I LOVED it. Then I ordered a specialty meal of grilled chicken, broccoli, fettucini and garlic and olive oil. AMAZING and flavorful(You would be surprised at how many places ruin a simple dish like this). Massive portions- I have enough left over for like 3 more meals. I ordered earlier in the day and asked them to come at 5, and they came right on time. I asked for sauce for the knots and they gave me a ton of sauce too. They didn’t skimp on anything. They also gave a nice amount of fresh, soft italian bread with the meals. I was also stunned because I felt like for the quality and size of the portions the dinner was super affordable. So happy to have them locally. I will definitely be ordering in again soon. Thank you!

Authentic Umbertos. Square pie exact same as New Hyde Park Umbertos. Calzone and salads were also great. Ladies at the front were extremely friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return.
