A unique tracking experience. A hard 8km very very undulating walk. But the views and waterfalls, when we got halfway were spectacular. Lots of stops and great insights from our guide along the way. A great 6 hour treck

It is a good and cool place for us to take a lesson by being interested in creation. Let us do more than just exist in this beautiful world that Jehovah has created; be amazed by it (Udzungwa mountains)!
Good Place for hicking..... Lovely reception also the waterfalls are npt so far from there
It was once in a lifetime experience. it was my first time hiking . Took us 5 hours and 30 minutes to go to the peak of the mountation and back to the starting point . Total 8 km covered . The tour guide was very helpful .
Is amazing place for adventure tourism
Wonderful place with attraction view
I went to visit Sanje Falls which wasnt an easy task to accomplish. The price is high, if you are not a resident and for me as for student it was not to pay. For the visiting the waterfall, just for 3,7 km walk in total, they charge 30 to 50 dollars, on the top of it you pay local taxes 20 dollars and also guide 20 dollars. Afterwards they offer you a lift to the Sanje Falls entrance which is about 9 km away from the main entrance, where you have to registrate yourself, for 30 dollars when you can also take a public bus just for less than one dollar. If going there when being a mzungu (white personbe ready to be asked always for more money than locals and to pay more. However, in spite of it being challenging at times, it is still worth it once you are there. The waterfall is wonderful. You have also a nice view from above and can swim next to the waterfall. I loved it absolutely.
Epic...Adventurous too...with lots and lots of chimps!!
I realy loved the waterfalls.... the highest in Tanzania I highly recommend trust me it is beautifulYou wont regret your time and money😉
It has amazing water falls, wild animals, beautiful big rocks, good trees, and green pastures with reliable rainfall and conducive climate
Withstood the test of time and it never gets older. Only better and better everyday. Best sunrise as always! Great Staffs
This park is absolutely gorgeous with an incredible amount of diverse life, especially endemic plants, birds and primates. I would highly recommend the Udzungwa falls lodge for its commitment to the sustainability of the natural environment and excellent accommodation, food, and service.
Really great experience. The falls were fantastic.
Nice place for tourism
Beautiful and amazing experience! To reach to the to the top takes about 2 hours at a normal hiking speed. and one to one hour and half if you re well fit.I highly recommend to hike when its not raining.
A very wonderful place to visit
Spectacular waterfalls. Useful guide who took us on the longer day walk. It was challenging but achievable. Beautiful scenery and waterfalls.
Very quiet with amazing forest all around you
Udzungwa Mountain is the very good place to enjoy, to relax and to refresh mind. I have been here for few days and I dont want to go back home. I real love this place.
The mountains & waterfalls are so fascinating to watch, you can take amazing photos and there is a beautiful cold weather. There lots of monkeys along the road side.
Beautiful nature. The base point is great for a dive into the cold water from the water fall. The trails are clearly marked but one has to go with a guide. Beautiful place to connect with nature
Sugar cane and teak plantation area
The customer care i got from the receptionist make me more comfortable to visit again. Very natural National Mountain Park
A very nice place to visity
Had the best experience hiking, swimming at the natural swimming pool. The Nature is just inviting.
The Sanje falls walk was fab. The view is extraordinary. The trees were impressive, really quite exceptional. Had a lovely day, not too strenuous but a good hike. Just over priced in my opinion re the park fees.
Its very cool place to refresh your mind ever with lots of monkey but very attractive waterfalls
Great way to see more of the beauties of Tanzania. Short (2-4 hoursand long (3 dayshikes are possible. Lots of wildlife-monkeys and baboons especially. Very knowledgeable and friendly guides-speaking multiple languages. OPEN on the weekends despite what google says.
Beautiful nature and shines of Tanzania. Come one, come all and see how beautiful is Tanzania from Udzungwa National Park. U will love it, enjoy and be amaized on this beauty and nature.
A very nice place this is, where you get to enjoy nature with fresh air. At least find yourself abit far from the usual daily hectics. Karibuni sana.
Greatest Sanje waterfalls - very impressive!
Fantastic nature, nice trackings
a place to visit, loved the trip
Tanzanias tallest waterfall the Sanje Falls is at this park. There are a couple of trails to hike the most popular being the Sanje trail. The park is beautiful and you can really appreciate the nature and the clean air. Theres not much public facilities so must be prepared when going.Note: You must register at the park office before starting any hike and contrary to one of the reviews written here you should not just start your hike without registering first - it is an offence.
