Ubumwe Grande Hotel in Kigali

The place is a heaven in on earth. Its beautiful ladened with modern edifices. The staff there are professional and the room service is beyond excellence. They have a grand pool, restaurant and an ultramodern gym at the rooftop. Its homestead. The location is super with enough security measures to ensure your safety.

I loved the environment, and the customer service, wonderful place to visit

The rooms were nice and the views are good of the city. Staff are friendly although lacking in any real drive or sense of urgency. When it rains there is a strong drain smell which seems fairly unavoidable. The restaurant upstairs however is terrible, all the food is poorly prepared or is not close the the menu description. Everyone from my company has had bad food here that has made them sick. If you dont eat at the hotel its actually pretty good, but they really do need to sort it out.

Rooms were great along with service. However the rooftop restaurant wasnt great everything tasted the same. Breakfast was good on the 1st floor. My recommendation would be to fond a new chef.

Went here for dinner at the rooftop. Food was quite decent and the views from the rooftop is super amazing.

The hotel was beautiful and modern with a very accommodating staff especially Daniel. We had a bad plumbing smell in the initial room we checked in and they were able to move us immediately. The 2nd room the smell wasn’t as strong. There were some overall issues with the AC that made it hot in the evening.The breakfast was great each morning with a very attentive team of chefs and servers. We loved the rooftop and the wonderful views of Rwanda.We would stay here again if we are back in Rwanda.

When we arrived the rooms where not ready. The front desk staff (Danialseems not to care about how several of us were in convenience. While we where waiting for our rooms - we simply asked for water, that took 30 min to arrive. After a long flight you just expect good service - but not here.

Beautiful hotel, great location.But lukewarm showers because the hotel wont change the aater temperature. Ugh.

This is a Lovely hotel with awesome meeting rooms. Like in most hotels I have seen in Kigali, they keep to the standards in the industry. They serve some good food both local and continental. Its easily accessible and close to the Mille Collines. A lovely place for a getaway in the city.

Went to the restaurant for a lovely dinner with friends. The service was exquisite and the food was very good.

This is a nice hotel well situated to enjoy a nice view of Kigali and the pool on the roof top is very niceThe only thing is the absence of a big mirror in the toilets

Nice place but did not like the way they have refused to reimburse me after paying for three nights and only spend two nights as a result of an early second covid test result.

Awesome! They have large fully operated windows and open upon request. Its the best place to enjoy the fresh night air and beautiful night view of Kigali.Food and alcohol are not expensive either. I highly recommend it.

Overly eager waiters who circle like vultures and they overcooked everything from the chicken curry to the beef chops to the carrot and caramel cakes; the cakes were simply dry. The only thing nice was the mousse. The view was amazing and we were happy to pay for that.

This very neat hotel is one of the tallest plazas in Kigali. The exciting thing is that it has excellent professional staff that are always eager to satisfy their customers. The facilities are also beautiful and the rooms and beds are nice. We used one of the conference centres and enjoyed great hospitality though their WiFi became epileptic in one of the days. Generally, thus is a good place to stay.

One of the strategically built hotel in Kigali. Once you are here and especially at the roof top, the whole of kigali is almost yours. At night, you can getting the captivating views of kigali lights. The drinks, food and the staff, I cant tell it all and finish.

Gorgeous rooftop restaurant.I only went to the hotel for a lunch and it definitely was worth it. Delicious buffet lunch and exceptional service from the staff. Would highly recommend it.

A very luxury hotel in centre of Kigali City with a swimming pool on the top.Once inside, you cant remember you are in the middle of the crazy part of the city.A perfect hotel to stay in if you want to access almost everything on foot. Restaurants, banks, shops, markets, clinics, everything you need is around you.

My review for this hotel is with regards to the restaurant and bar on the highest floor. It offers amazing views of kigali at sunset and my DAWA was perfect. The staff are professional and helpful.

The reception is commendable. The waiters are prompt and alert to note that you’re either in need of support or guidance. The food is good and indigenous. The hotel rooms are perfect. TV has news channels, sports channels and movies. There’s a wonderful rooftop, with the most amazing view of Kigali. Hotel is perfectly secure with ample parking, just in case you’re driving. For cab services, they can organize, or if conversant with the area, you can catch a cab or motorbike (taxi motojust outside the hotel. Key buildings/ offices are within, so you can walk around to access key offices. This is a 4 star hotel that has the facilities of a five star hotel.

Located in the center of the country the hotel is one of the best places in the country and maybe in the whole East Africa. The hotel has a big on top pool, plenty of rooms and an amazing customer care service. Looking for a great place to stay in the city, u found ur place.

The hotel is one of the best in the city centre of Kigali. You can reach for shopping centres, supermarkets, restaurants, clubs within 5 minutes. The rooms are very nicely decorated and with good spacing. Bathroom also with latest fittings and well managed. Breakfast buffet is reasonably ok not much variety of hot buffet. No butter available in the restaurant for breakfast. Front office staff is quite well but the restaurant staff smiles very rarely. Roof top bar you have to wait long time for getting the order and to serve the order. Maybe due to limited staff on 31st December to serve many customers. Overall the staff need to be trained about the customer service and guest relations. But the hotel is very nice. The swimming pool and gym on the roof top. Nice view of city from the roof top bar.

Modern well furnished hotel. Decent rooms with well functioning modern facilities. Friendly, polite and very helpful staff. Wide choice of breakfast options including some local food. It lost one star due to:-limited menu on roof top restaurant-spotty quality of dishes-generally poor service at the restaurantDo get a city view room if you can; the mountain view offers very little mountain.Dont get a corner room (like 711); you end up with only half a window

I went there to have a beer and in the evening the atmosphere was very good and service was attentive , nice view of the city from the top !

Great Hotel. Nice Environment and Enjoyable Scenic View. Clean Rooms. Wonderful meals. Staff are great as well. I will always recommend it as their rates are very competitive
