U Bulínů - Restaurant in Prague, Czech Republic
Good Czech food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff :)
Good food and serviceThey should have also some good beer, but they havent :(After 3 years, duck is enormous, 2 legs, too much ;this time overcooked.
The evening menu is very tasty, nourishing and refined. The lunch menu a bit less so but it is cheaper. Great place !
Delicious food, great service and cozy atmosphere. Well come here very soon again
Super food- one of the best places in Prague - everything is good !!! Lamb / Duck / pork - all outstanding
Excellent! I wish I hadnt waited until my last day to go here because it was so good/affordable and I would have loved to go again. The place had a great vibe and really nice service. The portions are HUGE, but they packed up our meals so we could take them with us. The carrot soup was out of this world and the cabbage fritters (?were also excellent. But honestly everything we ordered was crazy delish.
By far one of the best restaurants Ive ever been too.
So yummy! Lunch specials are nice. I tried the pork neck and it was delicious
The restaurant is a bit off the center of Prague, but well worth going by tram. Very good authentic Czech food, well priced. Very friendly service. Highly recommend.
Lovely bistrot brasserie type. I recommend the roasted duck with red cabbage and dumplings! I will come back, you will not be disappointed! Prices are ok for a big plate like that! We took the halloumi salad and it was good
Good food, very friendly staff, big portions. Beer was a tad too bitter and the duck could have used more roasting, but apart from that good experience.Theres also an indoor terrace area, please note that smoking is only allowed on the right (unroofedside.
Great spot to eat! The portions are large and delicious. I thought the prices were fair as well. Service was great too and our waiter spoke good English.Ill definitely be back!
Happy to call this place my local. Often busy, but the staff and kitchen dont keep you waiting. Always a great menu to choose from and beers to keep your group happy. Highly recommended.
We had goulash, duck, quiche and everything was delicious. Very kind guys and not long waiting time. Definitely recommend this place.
First of all, service was great. Staff was nice and kind also foreigner friendly/English speaking. Cozy atmosphere, tasty food and big portions. Highly recommended.
Everything here is good. Pork tenderloin, goulash, fish, fried cheese and beef were all fantastic! This is a hidden gem for good Czech food
Great restaurant for traditional Czech food. The service was great and the food was awesome. Worth going the extra distance out of downtown to have a great meal.
Ive visited this place more than 15 times. Its by far one of the best Czech restaurants in the whole city. Portion sizes are huge (as you can see in the photosand delicious. Totally recommended!
Excellent food ( best I tasted in praha), fair prices, terrific service. Not to crowdedBesides the touristic mainstream.Would recommend. Will be there at the next stay.
I always return for the deliciousness of the food. A fresh beer goes well aside. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere nice. We usually come here with kids as they are very welcomed.
Great place. Great food. The Venison was excellent. Super tender. Good local beer. Atmosphere was super inviting. The staff was very attentive and very helpful to a couple of tired Americans off of a travel day.
This is some of the best food I’ve ever had in Europe. Fast service, generous portions, and amazing flavor!! Must try when in Prague. I recommend the pork neck and potatoe dumpings for lunch
Cozy and family vibes. Very relaxed and casual. Tasty meals, reasonable prices and warm attention. Their goulash was fantastic.
If youre looking for a traditional Czech cuisine, then this is your place. The food is truly delicious. I did not find a better Czech dishes than what they serve here and believe me - I tried many places. Service is very friendly too.
We had a great time at U Bulínu yesterday with all my family. The restaurant is well decorated, the atmosphere welcoming and the food... Excellent ! Typical dishes from Cze Republic. They even offered us some goose pâté which was excellent. I recommend !
Very tasty Czech food. One of the best goulashes we had on our trip to Prague. Very pleasant and kind staff as well. Recommended!
I was here on my first night in Prague, and this restaurant is one of the things that made me fall in love with this city. It’s a traditional Czech restaurant, very nicely made, the staff is very kind, the food was absolutely delicious and the portion were big. The price is very reasonable and I recommend this restaurant to everybody. My next time in Prague this will be my first stop.
Such a great experience, the atmosphere, the food and the service make it memorable.Never imagined Czech cuisine could be this good. Beef tartar, beef cheeks, duck, all our dishes were perfect balanced in flavors.Definitely worth a visit.
Very basic, rugged, clean, and professional. Food is traditional and well prepared. Good coffee and brews. Would recommend.
Big portions but more importantly - absolutely delicious. Great service and reasonable prices... Not touristy at all... We saw only locals there. Would highly recommend if you are looking for something off the beaten track. Try the beef cheeks and the goat cheese starter - mniam mniam
Very good place with a very typical dishes! Friendly staff and competitive prices!
We really liked this restaurant. The food is prepared with care. I had the veal schnitzel and my partner had the pork tenderloin. The atmosphere in here has lots of unique industrial touches and really cool tile work. There are old framed photos on the wall which have been adapted with whimsical accents. I’m definitely flagging this off the beaten path restaurant for a future visit. Also great playlist. Fun to hear my favorite songs like “It’s a Shame about ray.” By the lemonheads.
Really warm and attentive service. Goat cheese bruchetta appetiser was delicious. Came here to try some local Czech dishes, was not personally my cup of tea. Homely food.
My favourite place to eat Czech food. Great, friendly service. I had the veel schnitzel which was incredible. Generous portions and well worth the price. Definitely recommend.
This is not a very popular restaurant. But it is worth going to. The food is great. The waiters dont speak much english, but they still try their best to communicate. I recommend this restaurant if you want to eat real Czech food. They also have a great selection of wine, and of course, beer. For desert we ordered a chocolate cake that was delicious
Love love this spot, my husband and I are regulars and never get tired of it. You’ll find some unique here besides the good food, very very kind service, which is not usual in Prague lol. 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Great tasting wholesome and hearty goulash. The potato cakes flavour was fantastic and complimented the beef surprisingly well. It felt a bit light on the beef and a bit more would have been appreciated.
Low-key atmosphere with amazing food. Staff was super nice, funny and attentive. Had the lamb shank, wife had the homemade pasta, both were fantastic.
Our first meal in Prague and it did not disappoint. Delicious goulash and beautiful atmosphere.
All foreigners were given daily menus in English but when we were paying we noticed a Czech menu that listed items for a lot cheaper. The locals sitting at tables near us were given this menu, although their food was simpler (e.g rice instead of carlsbad dumplings), it also arrived a lot faster and was cheaper. The food was just average (beef was toughand so I would not recommend this restaurant considering the price (approx. 12 euros per dish)
Excellent! great local taste & delicious food. We just walked in with a recommendation without knowing what to eat, then got perfect offers. Everything was delectable, especially the czech wine we drank!
Cozy spot with very delicious food. The pistachio creme brûlée was surprisingly good and the goose liver broth was definitely a favourite. Service is good, although our waiter was a little too friendly which made things quite uncomfortable for the group. Otherwise - great dinner spot!
Open till late. Good honest local food. Reasonable prices
I went here to eat with my girlfriend and all that we ordered was amazing. The meat was perfectly cooked and the plates were full of good flavor. I highly recommend this place!
Hospitality level: 10/10A really nice and rustic restaurant.Food was delicious with very generous portions. I could barely move after a starter and a main course.Staff had good manners and they were also very polite.Something you don’t see, for that price, is having your cutlery delivered with a white glove. Really impressed with the service. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and if you don’t go here, why are you in Prague for?
The restaurant is not cheap, I paid 11 Euros for my dish, but is very tasty and the place is good also. So I recommend it. Based on some locals this is kinda a traditional place.
Not far from city center but not in the city center, plenty of locals and really good new Czech cuisine. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and English menus. Nice traditional decoration, be aware of portions when you order
Beautiful interior that makes the meal more interesting already, and the food tasted really good. Staff is nice and speaks good English.Good quality/price ratio.
Very good food and excellent service. We got serviced in English without hesitation (including an english menu). I had the Pumpkin Cream Soup and the Chicken Breast Supreme, which were both really good. The Flank Steak wasnt quite as good, and the atmosphere isnt the best either, hence the 4 stars. Nevertheless, it was still a very pleasant stay.
I loved this place! The food was tasty and the room was cozy and nice, I strongly recommend it...I went with friend and everybody was happy with what they choose, so I thing is a good place for a delicious meal. Prices are not so high, I think just what is fair for a nice meal.
