Tymad Bistro - French restaurant in Cebu City, Philippines
Everything that weve had there was good! Crepes filet of sole..service was great. Knocked a star or half of one off for the mosquitoes...I know theyre very much a part what you have to live with when youre there, but it also takes away from your experience.
Definitly the best French restaurant in Cebu City, all food is fresh and excellent quality! Their pastries are just exceptional! A must go!
Cozy and homey restaurant offering French cuisine. Dishes come in big size and desserts are worth trying! I will definitely try different dishes next time cuz I saw the ready to serve food for other tables. Looks super nice!
Been a few times now. Good food. Coc au Vin superb.
Homey and consistent French bistro food. Best desserts too in Cebu in my opinion.
Very good French cuisine.
I thought that this serving is just too small for me. Well, I thought wrong. This one is really good. Definitely l, will be visitng very soon.
Best French restaurant ever in Cebu. All food are fresh and you cant finish. Too big. I love and recommand this place even they are not close to ayala.
good food, yet a bit warm ambiance.
They serve authentic and delicious French cuisine with superb service. Comfy and cozy ambience. Magnifique!
fantastic food, clean and the staff are very nice.
I love the food, the service, the ambiance and the price of course❤️
Over all five stars. Love the food, the interior and ambiance. The staffs are very welcoming. We dine in today and the French owner served our dinner and made the experience more personal. Will definitely come here more often. Merci beaucoup.
Very good french restaurant, the menu is full of great french specialities, all is well cooked and prepared (The onglet de boeuf is awesome), there is a large choices of crêpes, the pastery are really good and can be buy to take away.About the prices, its a bit expensive for the majority of filippino but for the foreigners it still affordable and reasonnable, the food proposed is not usual in the Philippines and of good quality. The staff is really nice, really appreciated their kindness, i didnt get the chance to meet the Chef Philippe (a french citizen like mebut hopefully the next timeI highly recommend this place to the filippino and foreigners who want to experience and taste the french food, to the french people who are missing the french food.
A true French oasis in Cebu. Best pastries and genuine French dishes!
Im surprised to find Kouign Amann in Cebu! Both the Plain Butter and Apple flavors are great. I slightly prefer the Apple one because it is more flakey. Great latte too!
Amazing French food. Cheese, croissants, foie gras but also other dishes like lamb or crepe and galette
Small and quiet cafe which offers a very wonderful selection of desserts! Pastry items are great.Tymad also offers a wide selection of breakfast options
Food is great, ambience even better. As far as casual cafés go this is one of the better ones in the city.
My Cebu constant. Underrated, low-key French restaurant for only those in the know. I like to keep it that way. Servers have become friends knowing our regular wine and foie gras staple. Their beurre blanc and béchamel sauces are divine with the fish orders. Desserts are a must try as they are never very sweet. Brought a client from the US who said theyd love to own a place like this. Only for the sophisticated palate. Well-traveled diners as well. An overall homey community if you may.
Authentic French food, beware credit card is a problem often due to the bad telephone service. Be ready to use cash.
I had a wonderful dinner here with friends! It is quite pricey but their servings were good for 2 people. Our faves were the Gratin de Fruits de Mer and the Pork Steak which was humongous! Their Salmon salad was pretty good too but the main dish just had the spotlight. Quality of service was spot on! They were very attentive and made sure we were enjoying our dinner. Another dessert to try would be their Chocolate Dome. Texture is quite firm yet soft and would seem to burst in your mouth. Plus points for the extra plate of free chocolate truffles!
Just no comment... For Filipino its maybe good for French its near from our comfort food.. Are we talking about a real chief cook?? For Cebu maybe its OK... For me as a real French I expect more!!! OK to be honest he is good in pastries because no one can beat him .
Chef Philippe is one of the best! Loved his pastries and his Ratatouille! The croissant is delicious and the price reasonable. Visiting Tymad is a must when you are in search of yummy food at reasonable prices!
Hey, im a simple guy the food is the bomb! And the people there made me feel like Im welcome.
Recommended address for very good and tasty traditional French cooking. The pastry is just amazing!
Loved the food here!! My favourite was the mussels. Would highly recommend here!
If you like desserts would highly recommend this place. Costly but its worth the price. 👍👍👍
The best croissants Ive ever had in the Philippines !!! Highly recommended !!!
I love this restaurant for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything!! I am crazy about its croissant and opera!
Ambience is great. The chocolate cake is crispy and delicious.
Best French restaurant in Cebu. Try their croissants, you wont regret it.
I love this place... price are not bad.
Super nice place with a fantastic menu!
The smoke salmon with toast is fresh and delicious as well as the lettuces and salad. Moreover the beef is extremely soft and the sauce is pretty suitable with it. Its really good place, so I will visit again if I have chance.
Tasty savoury dishes, great pastries and desserts. The place shines in its consistent execution at reasonable prices. Thats what makes it a firm favourite
My favorite restaurant in Cebu, but also amazing French pastries and viennoiseries. A must try...and you get addicted.
The first restaurant wherein I got to taste Eggs Benedict. Loved it! Yummy food. The serving was also generous so you get your moneys worth. A bit pricey but for a good reason. Nice ambiance too.
This little french gem has delicious crepes amd their famous croissants! I look forward to returning again. Nice big portions for their salad as well!
Best French in Cebu, excellent desserts, warm attentive service
If you really want the best croissants then Tymad Bistro is where you will get it. Not only do they have delicious pastries but their food is also yummy. Their crepes are the bomb along with their pasta and salads. Plus the owner is the nicest guy ever. He always makes you feel at home. Great place for good food whether it’s dinner or dessert or both! :)
Nice place for coffee & pastry, or short orders. Not very big, but has outdoor seating...a cozy place to spend a few hrs w/ friends or family.
This bistro is located along the road towards the Maria Luisa village. There is a few parking space in front of the bistro, once thats full, others will have to park along the road. This cozy bistro offers French cuisine. The interior is lined with French paperback books and photos from France. It is very rare to find a restaurant that is quiet wherein you can enjoy your meals in peace. The food is great here and bursting with flavors. It is a bit pricy but it is absolutely a calming and sumptuous dining experience.I would recommend ordering their smoked salmon. It is one of the best that weve tasted.
Great pastry.. The coffee is ok.
Incredibly tasty food! Friendly service and nice relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Their crepes are highly recommended. Very nice ambiance for dates or catching up with friends.
Visited this place twice during a recent five-day trip to Cebu. The burger crepe and tenderloin dishes were fine, but what I came back for were the huge salads and escargot. The Salade Paysanne is my personal favorite--the greens are generously covered in bacon bits and topped with a poached egg and croutons. For the dressing, I requested for vinaigrette. The Escargots de Bourgogne, on the other hand, were baked with garlic parsley and butter. You are given a choice between a six-piece and a 12-piece order. Ill go for the latter next time if I need to share! The Uber drivers dont seem to be too familiar with the area yet so its best to navigate using the Waze app.
Cozy place. Not so crowded
Good food. Friendly service. Its a quite and nice atmosphere. Small dinning room so not good for large groups. The baked goods and desserts are amazing.
The taste like no others😍😚Chef Phillipe! The gang love u so much for giving us good appetite. U never let us down everytime we come and eat. I wish i could be a good cook like u.👍👏💖
