Two Worlds Cafe & Kids Play - Amusement Centre in Kempsey, Australia
Nice staff, delicious food. Is a walk in.
Love, love, love this place. Gonna have to move here so that it becomes my local !!
Lovely inside and decor has been very considered. However, first time been there was today. Service exceptionally slow, about 40 mins wait for effectively cheesy scrambled eggs and what was streaky bacon which should have been pancetta. Food was fair when received but I felt it was overpriced.
Nice but small place with outdoor seating.Great eclectic and recycled interior. Love it.So popular the queues can be quite big in peak times.Lovely food and plenty of choice.
My favourite breakfast cafe in Leigh. The food is excellent and the staff so friendly and polite. It is popular but I have never waited too long for a table. The decor is a huge plus, along with the really tasty cakes and treats they sell. Milkshakes are very good as well.
Arrived at a lull in proceedings, so, unusually was able to get a table inside straight away. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly, capable serving staff. Strong flat white with humongous slice of delicous cake. Exactly what was needed to cheer my mood.
Food and service are amazing. We regularly eat here and on this occasion we spent 4 hours with a family member we have not seen since pre covid. Was great
If you are a lover of cake, here is the perfect place to make yourself happy.Service 10 at 10. These girls are brilliant hosters!!Gorgeous food!Excellent producers. All food handmade.Mediterranean flavours foods.Today my spicy eggs🥚 and toast was delicious😋Its been a long time since weve enjoyed a great breakfast. Great food, clean, not greasy. Delicious fresh smooth drinks. Superb service.Eclectic decor!! I love it. It has a wonderful selection of music and old-fashioned ornaments!!! Beautiful.Disabled entrance,Baby changing facilities,We are looking forward to returning.Definitely recommend.
Had a lovely lunch with family not seen for a while.Crayfish sandwich thing was lovely apparently. I had the Best bubble and squeak ever.. divine.Service always good also
Good food, but when we were there they served one brunch 5 minutes before the others in our party and missed an order of pancetta. That said, would recommend and is good value.
Fabulous menu. Loved the breakfast. Worth a visit. Will go back. Tea gorgeous too.
After years and years of custom at Stop The World, we still cannot fault the food.Friendly service. Still a no booking policy so be ready to wait for a table.
limited menu odd dishes not the sort of thing my parents could choose from and my mum thought it was expensive but I thought prices were fairly average for leigh, although a pot of tea and a coffee was five pounds
Well, what more can I say; 5 stars for this amazing “must visit” café at Leigh-on-Sea! Amazing decor, amazing coffees, amazing service, but most of all… amazing food & desserts. Whatever I tried was excellent! Cook & flavour wise. If u r in the area, don’t miss it!!!! MUST HAVE: Lemon - Meringue pie!!!! Heaven!Be back? OH YES!!!! 9,5/10
Had an amazing lunch with my friend, who Im visiting.Wonderful food and friendly staff
Excellent ambience, service and food. Will definitely return. Many thanks.
Quite a find, good decor friendly staff and the cakes and breakfasts are to die forThe good thing you are not rushed in there which makes it more enjoyable
Its ok, have had better. Service wasnt great, and very expensive for what you get. I wouldnt return by choice.
Stopped in here with some visiting family members for a light lunch. Out of all the Broadway eateries, this is one that I’d never tried before. No pre-booking available so it’s first come first serve, fortunately we didn’t have to wait long for a table. The dining area is beautifully decorated, light and airy and there is also the optional outdoor seating, weather permitting. Service was efficient and attentive and the food was very good. There is a varied menu and also a daily Specials board, I was a little disappointed that no salads are offered though. I opted for the Mackerel Pâté with crudités and Melba toast, which was very good indeed. The pâté was topped with smoked salmon and the portion was more than generous. My partner had the “Best Bubble in the World” an ample portion of bubble and squeak, topped with two fried eggs. I am told it was a “10 out of 10.” There is also an extremely tempting dessert counter at the front of the restaurant, filled with some amazing looking cakes, which we shall most certainly be returning to sample at some point. Recommended
Nice place to stop for a something to eat and drink, also pleased to see a range of options for veggies and vegans. I ordered the bagel and an iced coffee which were both perfect, as well as a hearty slice of the chocolate pudding cake. They have a beautiful and varied counter of fresh cakes that it made it difficult to decide! Helpful and kind staff, nice atmosphere and food, nothing exceptional but a lovely spot.
We’ve eaten here many times and it’s always delicious! Great veggie / vegan options available.
My first visit to this lovely place on Mothers Day.Staff were all very helpful and friendly.Food was lovely especially the Bubble and Squeak.I live in Kent but would happily make the drive to visit again.Thank you .
What a lovely place for brunch! Staff lovely, menu extensive! Nice to see daily specials too which we could not resist! Amazing cake counter, will definitely return soon.
Its a nice little cafe with quite a varied menu for such a small place. A trendy menu offering avocado items, sourdough bread, healthy options as well as traditional breakfast and pancakes too. A lovely cappuccino. If you dont like loud places give it a miss at peak times. Our brekkie for 2 with 2 cappuccino was £28.
A very good place for breakfast or brunch, although the tables and seating can be quite cramped at peak times. There is, however, ample and spacious seating outside - great in summer, but only for the hardy in the winter months - they do provide rugs to keep you warm though 😊!
I heartily recommend - 10/10!nice and quick service and friendly manager Louise!delicious coffee, huge selection of cakes including lots of vegans and gluten free!I recommend the avocado fritters. very tasty!I will come back there for sure!
One of my favourite places to eat in Leigh. Has amazing food and drink choices. The food is always very tasty and delicious. My favourite thing about this cafe is the cake selection, wide variety and very big slices as well. The staff are always so lovely and helpful. Have been here a few times and will be going again hopefully soon. Sometimes you do have to wait for a table for a few minutes but never a long wait.
We popped in here as I had seen the reviews in various places. Glad we did. After a short wait we were shown to our table. Mrs D went for the Welsh Rarebit and I opted for the Barbie Beans but swapped out the halloumi for ham...making it definitely non-vegan. Lovely coffees - great service. We shall be returning.
I had breakfast on Sunday with 4 others. Everything we ordered went down a treat. I had delicious Croque Monsieur. Great coffee and the cake slices we took away were tasty. A lovely space with efficient and welcoming staff.
Looking for somewhere different to do a spot of lunch I popped in here with 3 others; I asked if they cater for vegans a d they did. It was very, very busy but thats a good thing as the food must be worth it. So we had a table for 4. My 3 companions all put in their orders of different things like soup, a breakfast and a bubble and squeak. I ordered the Vegan sourdough toast with avacado and mushrooms in a vegan pesto. With mine I had a pot of tea that came with a strainer, as it was loose leaf, a beautiful, delicate tea cup and tea which filled the cup 5 times.we all agreed the food was delicious and our drinks were excellent. The service from start to finish was exemplary considering it was very busy. A place that I will definitely go back to again due to the service and quality of the food. Our bill was £43 which for 4 plates of good grub and a hot drink each we thought was really fair priced.
Best cakes in Leigh - had mint aero cake amazing not too sweet. Good coffee too. Sadly slice of cake & coffee took 45 mins to arrive as they forgot our ticket! Careful if youre in a rush :)
Great stop for a coffee and some lunch, and the staff were even kind enough to bring a bowl of water over for my dog who was very grateful. The soup I had was really good, enough that it was memorable how tasty it was! Memorable soup?!
Fantastic food, great quality coffees and even better customer service.Spoke to (I presume the manager or ownerabout a minor minor issue and his response was second to none. Would highly reccomend Stop The World. All the staff are brilliant and great at their job. Been before, will go again. Can totally see why its so busy. Theyve got it right!
Terrible service, the staff just seemed to ignore us for the whole process, we waited by the door to see if they had an available table for 5 minutes whilst everyone just ran away from us, not wanting to interact. When we finally got seated, every time they walked past they would intentionally avoid eye contact. You cant even blame it on how busy it was as they had 5 members of FOH wandering around at all times. I was excited to try the Tofu Scramble, however it was so bland I had to cover it in salt and pepper to get an inkling of flavour. The best part was the Tropical Cake which was really nice, and nice to see that they had vegan cake options.
Lovely set up and very delicious food. Had a great breakfast here
Went for brunch as a family of 5 today. A lovely sunny day so was very pleased to be able to sit outside. A short queue before seated was fine. It was plainly a busy day and the restaurant was under staffed. We learnt subsequently that one member of staff had called in unwell so some patience was required. Waitress was very pleasant and chatty. Drinks order was about 15 minutes, which was tolerable given the staff issues. Sadly, however, the food took well over an hour to arrive. A little disappointed to see the tables that arrived after us received their food much more quickly. Probably as only couples. However, the wait was too long and spoilt an otherwise nice experience. Food was nice and fresh. Ambience was pleasant, save for barking dogs (a dog friendly restaurant it seems). Not cheap and so more was expected. Nice touch not to charge for second round of tea/coffee as a result of delayed food. Not sure if we will go again.
We arrived last weekend, so lucky to get a table! The food and service were absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was fab, the place was really buzzing!Thank you for fitting us in! Looking forward to our next visit!
Perfect for our first mummy day date. Really friendly and lovely to talk too.
Love this place - The food bangs! And all the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Must visit!Instagram: @thefoodiept
Got a table outside and table was cleaned. Good friendly service. Food was nice but nothing amazing. Solid good quality English breakfast and veggie option. Was glad to not have bread or toast as I dont eat it - bubble & squeak is given instead. Only problem was the difference between main breakfast and half portion - not really a difference between the portions as seen in the pictures.
Stop the world is a lovely little cafe in Leigh-on-sea with amazing food and nice friendly staff. We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, cafe was a bit busy and had to que for about 10mins before getting a table outside. Even though the tables outside are right next to a road, the road has very little traffic so you dont notice it. We had a nice time and would definitely be back sometime in the future.
Cosy place to have a breakfast or coffee with cake. Really wide selection of cakes, very friendly staff. A bit on a expensive side but the quality of food is worth it.
Food is very tasty, stuff very friendly and everything is on a good price, strongly recommend 😊
Lovely place for breakfast. Staff are very friendly. Can get very busy. Extensive menu. I had American style pancakes with maple syrup and blueberries with coffee. Very tasty and filling. Outside seating availability. Toilet facilities tip, the light switch is on the right from the ceiling.
Amazing place and food. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
This place definitely stops the world! It has the best breakfast and brunches - highly recommend the bubble and squeak! And if you can’t squeeze in a cake afterwards, make sure to get a cake to go! Absolutely heavenly! Thanks STW for giving us a moment to enjoy ourselves while the craziness goes on by! 😍
One word to sum it all, DELICIOUS!!Highly recommended if you are in the area.
A fantastic find in Leigh. A chilled and relaxed place to grab a quick bite. Super friendly staff, outside seating and quiet clientele. Toilets are on site and they take card. I had a tasty welsh rarebit which is a homemade recipe of theirs; would definitely recommmend. Upmarket feel and a creative space to work
Gorgeous decor, superb cakes, delicious food. Quirky cafe with and artistic feel. I always enjoy it there. Delicious seabass salad.
Not only the food is always of great quality, the choice on the menu (drinks and foodis incomparable to other venues in Leigh on sea. Service is always nice too. Sadly, be prepared to queue up to get a table.
