Only for teenagers. Not really for families. Nothing to do for short kids (less than 120cm). Age limit for kids as well.But very good for their target audience!

Having been there several times over the years the park is OK.The rides are fun and entry prices are worth it. The food is expensive and bad. Id recommend you pack a lunch if you plan on going. Lines for rides are mostly reasonable which is helped somewhat by how spread out the park is.

A fun trip for the family, with a lot to see and do. I suppose we were fortunate that it was not too crowded so the queues for the rides werent too long (10-30 minutes depending on the ride). The rides were fun and the slushies were good on a hot day.Unfortunately, Tusenfryd suffers the same understaffing issue as its affiliated park, Bø i Sommarland. The tickets are expensive enough so I dont quite understand why cheapness seems to be driving these places into the ground. Parques Reunidos is the company that has acquired and owns both of these places.Due to lack of staff to mind the bathrooms, hot temperatures, and poor ventilations, the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. All of them. Both in visual and horrendous smell. If you are a person that needs to sit down to pee, consider not drinking too much. Not too fun a memory to go with the rest of the fun that is had here.

This place is super cool. Wooden rollercoaster is a highlight. Going late in the afternoon is good because a lot of people have left by then. The bottom parking lot is very tight so choose a good parking spot.

Great park for thrill seekers. Small children (<120cmhave substantially less to do. The rides themselves are showing their age.Food options are good and with many allergy sensitive options.A substantial portion of the park is dedicated to small arcade like activities, all of which require additional payment.With tickets coming in at around 500NOK (~€50per person, this feels like a little greedy. The parking however is good and affordable (70NOK or ~€7 for the day).The park has some substantial hight differences, be prepared to do some uphill walking through the park.

A really fun place for friends and family.Be ready for long queues though. But its definitely worth the experience

Nice amusement park, has everything here for people of all shapes and sizes. Had a lot of fun with the family here and would recommend to visit absolutely. However, be aware that the lines can become extremely long and for the more popular rides (many of them), the wait time is in excess of 40 minutes. Not particularly fun when raining. Unfortunately there is no express type passes that can be purchased like in other amusement parks around Europe and the globe, but such is life. All in all, no complaints and had a nice day out.

I wish they had seats to all the popular rides, so that bigger people could see if they fit in them (so they dont have to be emberassed when they have to leave the attraction because of their size.)

Nice theme Park outside Oslo. Half an hour drive. The waiting time is ok. Food is everywhere.

Its a decent amusement park with fun rides. They could do better when it comes to their food and wheel chair accessible toilets though.

This place is hard to review for people living in the region, as there is really nothing comparable around.For kids, this amusement park is certainly an OK experience as long as they are sufficiently small and havent been visiting very frequently.For adults, the experience is mostly one of bleeding inefficiencies and poor selection of food. Having inadequately trained high schoolers without adult supervision attend to most of the rides and gastronomy gives ample room for improvement, at least theoretically. Well, I guess Ill see you again next year ...

Best adventure and amusement park in Norway, somehow some of the rides can be compared to Singapore Amusement park.

A nice amusements park for kids and adults. The spinspider is a real deal. Other attractions are as usual like other amusements park.

A place to release all your stress. The new monster splash is operating now and it is super cool. Their dungeon with an additional fee of 50kroner is worth the experience if you want to conquer your fear of darkness and horror. They are on the process of adding more attractions, so I am looking forward to it next year. It was a blast day for me. They have restaurants and shops with reasonable price that you could never imagine in an amusement park. 😁😁😁 The only downside is that there are a lot of seagulls that arent afraid to snatch your food. 😂😂😂

Terrible waiting time even for the food, spent 50 minutes waiting for an order of fries. Park is well maintained but too much time is wasted waiting. I hope the new queuing system they are testing actually helps for the rides. The restaurants are screwed until they have atleast one adult in charge, all i ever see is a bunch of students who havent been trained properly.

Very nice amusement park in Norway 😀 we choose not a very busy day I guess, so there was not such big queues, even though you need to wait for the best attractions. My favourites: Spider, Speed Monster, Water Splash. Biggest disappointment: Enzememo ( or something like this - more then 30 min waiting for less than 1 min of very doubtful pleasure 😀

I went on a Saturday. Limited lines, well managed, toilets were clean. Only 1 ride was not functioning but that can happen at any amusement park.Most important thing is that all the rides were good and relevant for those above 1.2m height. Comfortably covered all rides from 11:00-17:00

I spent beautiful time with my son there but restaurants are very expensive. Toilets 🚻 there are not so cleaned and not enough.

Nice variety of attraction, for adults and kids, for adrenaline lover or who prefer water games, nice price. To improve gluten free meals

Nice place to have fun both for kids and adults! We have spent the whole day in this park and never been bored.

If you want to spend an amazing day with your kids and family this is the place to go. The waiting on the rides aint long. All the thriling rides are amazing and the kids rides are fun as well. The staff there is really friendly and can converse in Norwegian as well as English, so communication wont be a problem.Just go and have an amazing day there.

I love the place and location. And like to see the improvements and upgrades on old attractions, nice to see and try new ones as well. And we noticed some construction works in the park. Are there more new attractions planned?I would recommend to maintain the decorations as well, many things need paint correction. Also someone have to controll the queue, since many ill-mannered people just jumping over or under the fence to get infront of the line.

Recently refurbished with new attractions added and a more themed experience. The amusement park is set in the forest and feels spacious and relaxed. Great for all ages

Beautiful amusement park with something for everyone. Its size allows you to go through it in a day. Well worth a visit.

It is a very pricey amusement park. Seemed to short of staff with a couple of rides being managed by the same staff. So, you reach a ride and need to fetch a staff from another ride!!Despite paying a hefty entry fee, many of the attractions such as excavators, RC boats, etc need to be paid separately. Even the simple toy car ride is 35NOK+. This considering that there are only a few rides for smaller kids even though the entry fee is not much lower for them.Been to Hunderfossen adventure park and compared to it, Tusenfryd is not worth the price.

I dont recommend :/ Alot of the restaurants were closed when we got there and i think only 2-3 were open later in the day and the food was so terrible and expensive😥 We also had to pay extra to sit inside and eat? I had read the reviews and thought people were just dramatic but no, this really is not worth it.. Save your money and time, i promise..

It was the best the food was like done really fast and the rides was really fats and good i loved the thunder coaster its best i just payed 3k i think the 3k was worth it

Tusenfryd is always popular for both kids, youth and grown ups. But the lines can be very long and tiresome. Unfortunately it looks like the operators at the attractions are not that bothered by the queues either and do very little to speed up the work. Everything is going very slow.

Nice drive to the destination.Tickets are expensive but like everything in Norway.The operators are friendly, but very slow. Which slows down the flow enormously, and the queues are long for not much.No theming effort, no music, so no atmosphere.Building materials are lying around almost everywhere.A lot of effort to do.

We decided to eat in the pizza restaurant. We were told that there was a 30 minute wait for the food and accepted that. The food took 1 hour and 35 minutes! So we were basically stolen of time in the park. Super disappointed! Although the park was busy it wasn’t super busy. If they had told us there was anywhere near that long a wait then we would have just had a snack or something. On top of that the two pizzas and 3 drinks cost almost 600NOK!!!

Pricing, layout and state of the park are okay. But the service for the customer in regards to cycle time before nearly each ride is horribly inefficient and seems quite chaotic and time consuming. Moreover when shutting down the park doesn’t manage to stop people from entering the lines before rides but rather let’s you wait for 45 minutes just to tell you the last ride finished 5 people in front of you. Therefore only 3 starts.

Its a nice park but the thunder coaster was broken for the day. No queues on the rides cause of the rainy weather. Theres onoy 3 big roller coaster from which one of them red one called Loopen was absolutely awful and caused us neck pain. Ice cream were nok49 for 2 scoops

One of the most exciting places you can visit this summer season. Tusenfryd is located on a somewhat hillside that makes the rides even more exciting.The rides are safe for children as well. I tried my best to ride all of them but was unable to coz of the queue.Yes queue would be normal for a place like this but, it would seem that the staff are limited that makes the whole operation a little slow thus, the queue.Or it could also be that they are double checking the safety of the folks riding before they hit that button that will send you off to stratosphere, which is cool too.

Bored of daily routine. Looking for some great family time. The amusement park at Vinterbro in Norway about 20 KMs south of OSLO is the place to get rid of boredom and have value time with your family. The largest amusement park of Norway provides fun activities for everyone. Even the youngest in your family can expect fun filled attractions and rides. This is a unique thing about this park.Visitors can avail discount on their Oslo pass.

Great theme park that caters to all ages. It had plenty of rides for my toddlers, as well as a large play area. For the adults the spin spider and speed monster were good adrenaline rushes and the zombie maze was a lot of fun. This is a great place to spend the whole day with the family

Lovely place to be for a day trip with family and friends. Many activities for both children and adults. Less than 30 mins drive from Oslo. Good parking place.

Great theme park with exiting rides for kids and grown ups. Some very long waiting lines takes the score down though. Had to wait for 1h 30min for the Thunder coaster ride 😱

I would highly recommend going on SuperSlpash and Ragnarok. The day we went several rides broke down so didnt get to experience all which is a real shame since the park wasnt too busy and i dont intend on going back. Its ok for a one off experience. Its far too expensive for what is offered.Dont go on the nightmare ride unless you speak Norwegian. It isnt English friendly. Too be honest the entire park isnt very English friendly. Having said that all the staff speak very good English and were very helpful. The only downside would be that they all move very slow. Maybe Ive become accustomed to the speed of how things are done in UK parks so was taken aback at the level of speed getting people on and off the rides.Overall a very family friendly place. Not for thrill seekers as you will get around the adult rides very quickly.

Great for all the family. Different attractions for different ages. The park is bigger than it looks, and has enough to entertain for a day. The virtual reality roller coaster was definitely an experience not to miss!!

Amusement park like no others. Been going to it for years and each year they surprise me anyway by building new attractions. Situated close to Oslo it makes it easy accessible by car or bus. On a hill that gives you a nice view on many attractions.

We are a couple of 36 and 30 who spent a day here. We had a lot of fun and two of the roller coasters are world class.There are however a few large drawbacks. First, we spent 45min in que for "nightmare" a ghost house attraction that were suppose to be "intense", same as the biggest roller-coasters. "nightmare" was a HUGE waste of time and it sucked beyond belief.Second, they push you through all kinds of places that is designed to force parents to spend money on screaming kids. This is manipulative and will suck for parents who have limited means. Things here are expensive, even by Norwegian standards.One day was enough for the two of us, but a family might need two days.

Tusenfryd Amusement Park in Norway is definitely a unique amusement park. It is built on a mountain. You definitely need to be at least somewhat in shape to get around here but its totally worth it. There are amazing rides, spectacular views, and really good food. Well worth the climb!

Ok amusmentpark in the outskirts of Oslo. Has some main attractions to go to, like the spinspider.Perfect for young-age families to, has toddler attractions and small pooles (for those who endure the climate).

Expensive to get in, cost us approx €50 each. Some really cool rides. We got a bus from Oslo which was really handy and easy to manage. Worth a visit for something different to do if you dont mind the price.
