Turtha Sweet & Savoury in Sibiu

Disappointed with the service and the atmosphere. It is not at all as it appears in the posted pictures!

All is good except for the steak. Meat quality is concerning and cooks ability to grill it, even more concerning. The other things we ordered were really good though...

Unfriendly personnel , long waiting time even just to get the order more than 40 minutes to take the order. Even if the ambient is nice all the rest leave much place for better service. Never again. Worse organizes ever, 2 people at. 6 people table so no places... Total waiting time for get the food around 2 hours.

Excellent cakes in a wonderful setting, close to all major hotels in Sibiu.Its located on a quiet street, but still close to the city center - so if youre a tourist staying at a hotel its definitely worth checking it out for an afternoon coffee and cake.The decorations are very cozy with somewhat of a vintage style.Cakes are simply delicious and always fresh, and they also make good coffee and tea (I had a cappuccino and a green tea with lemon).

I didnt like the service very much, i wanted to make a cake and i talked to the sales person and not the baker. I wanted to explan exactly what i wanted, i said a eanted the cake to be max 1kg and it was aprox 1.5. I didnt like that at all. But the cake was very good and tasty still disapointed by the aervice it self

Lovely place but rude waiter!!

Went there last evening after reviewing the opinions shared on Google. The place looks nice. We sat at a table on a not very busy terras awaiting for our waiter...we wait and wait...after 10 min he gave us the menus...after another 15 min of waiting for him to take our order we decided to leave as the waiter was very busy with everything else but clients. No eye contact, no acknowledgement, no intention to make you feel welcomed. Too bad that we didnt get to taste the food that everyone says its awesome, but we found quite fast another place where people were willing to offer us a nice dinner experience.

We visited the (not very busyterrace on a Sunday evening.I ordered a gin and tonic that arrived at the table without any ice... so I had to ask for it and I received a glass with ice to fix my drink...I would have expected that the waiter will take the drink and fix it but anyway...Also, I ordered a portion of fried with double cheese. Everyone at the table received their food but mine wasnt there. They forgot about it, but no apologise or information when the food will be ready. I received a portion of undercooked fries, (12 lei the portionwith just a bit of cheese. I couldnt complain because nobody checked our table anymore.Too bad because the location is beautiful (yet expensiveand music very good, but I will never go back or recommend it to anyone else.

Tried 3 cakes at their backyard "bar and grill". Egyptian cake and whisky caramel cake were great. Penguin one was like the one from kinder so not a favourite of mine :)

A sweet experience that is worth it.Their sweets are made of high quality ingredients without too much sugar added and even though they are a little bit pricey I strongly recommend this place for a sweet treat.

This is a nice place to spend your time in. Cozy and full of light. They havent got a big variety for vegans. Actually I ordered french fries and some vegetables, the only vegan option I could say. For lovers of meat might be the best place in town. Theyve got plenty of drinks options. The staff is just awesome. So take your time and visit the place, it is totally worthy it.

I ordered a birthday cake with Kinder Egg flavour and with an animal design (kids birthday). Looked very good and also tasty. Would definitely order another one next year.

Best cookies in Sibiu, very cosy place!

On September 4th they have officialy opened Turtha Grill & Bar. Lovely atmosphere and tasty food. Amazing "Ossobuco Slow Cooked" (you might have a foodgasm :)). You shold also try the "Cheese Burger" and the "Quesadilla Beef". The best thing is that you can enjoy afterwards the best cookies in town. Also, they have excellent value for money.

One of my first choices when taking someone out for some cake. Friendly and cosy, the place offers a vast-enough range of sweet treats that are actually quite tasty. The staff is nice and helpful and I always leave with some take-away gingerbread or cookies. I recommend if your children are into sweets - good ingredients and food processing that you can trust.

It took one hour to get breakfast. It was ordered in advance from the hotel we stayed at. We needed to ask several time for each part of the meal. Bread was served half an hour after the ham, cheese etc. Juice was served after 45 min. The young male waiter seemed to hate his job.......

Excellent cakes, without being too sweet. One good alternative to the sweets shops in the old town. Great anniversary cakes as well. Do stop by if in Sibiu and craving for some sweets. We were twice in a day. I know, guilty as charged.

The best cakes in town.....

We had breakfast as part of our stay at a nearby apartment hotel, the bread was hard almost uneatable and the coffee was dull. The hot sandwich was served cold and never seem to meet an oven.

Average cakes (basically on par with most bakeriesand pretty bad coffee. I havent tried anything else here so I cant say anything about their other products.The only positive point is that they are open 08-22 and have a small outside seating area for smokers.

Delicious cakes.Cosy, romantic place to have a date.They do take orders but you will have to pick it up your self.
