Went here after a long day at the mountain, we just honestly came across it and it was mint. A young lady and an indian man was working and they were so nice. I asked for recommendations and were happy to accomodate. The burgers were mean and garlic butter on point.Also as we were about to leave, they forgot our donut but they ran to the car to give it to us. A+ plus service if you ask me.

Had exceptional fish and chips a few weeks ago. They also do burgers, pizza and roasts.

Last time we paid for 3 fish got 4. This time great food. Always try to come here when in the area.

Good food and pretty quick, but when we were there fish wasnt available. So when theres no "chicken of the sea" we go for normal chicken I guess.

Yummy pizza. We found fish and potato fritter batter was waaay too thick and did not like. Chips were nice. Service was quick.

Brilliant food. Got 2 large lamb and 1 small lamb roast and they were great sized meals and great selection. Service was quick and place was clean easy to find. Definitely a go to place on our way through Turangi again.Awesome guys keep up the awesomeness.

Heavily violates COVID-19 restrictions. Food was average, staff were terrible, none of them were wearing masks or gloves at all even when touching the food. Sign outside said please show your vaccine pass, no one was there to check it. Disgustingly unacceptable.

Ordered 2 fish and chips for $14. Fish was small bland and mushy, chips very flavourless also. $7 quality, $14 price.

We got a lamb and pork roast from here and absolutely loved both of them. The veg accompanying the meat was a really good selection and portions huge. I had the small and was full and my partner enjoyed the large!

Great roast meals and generous fresh fish takeaways. Roast meals are popular so dont leave it too long after 5pm or you will miss out.

Very yummy fish and the chips were nicely cooked, though under salted and a one scoop was more like half a scoop of chips elsewhere in NZ

Steak Burgers were yum, the steak was tender and the pattie was tasty. We got a piece of Tarakihi, cooked perfectly and the batter was crisp. I am definitely going back.

Been living in Turangi for 3yrs and never went to this place..... Well today, it all changed and Im glad I did..... It was beautiful 😍😍😍😍 our burgers were bomb, my nieces pizza was bomb. Thank you. Will definitely be back.

Travelled back to Hamilton on Monday & the family had burgers & chips which were fresh & one of the best burgers we have had in awhile. Reasonably priced, friendly staff who gave us a free tomato sauce. Ate across the road in the park which was a bonus. Pleased we didnt queue up outside Burger King like everyone else. We will definitely call in again.

Food was super great! Far better than we were expecting from a small town takeaway in the middle of our roadtrip! Mean burgers and very nice wedges aswell. All for a very very decent price!

Tucked away down one end of Turangi shops, this takeaway offers high quality traditional burgers and fish and chips - with five different types of chips on offer! They have a wide range, including a couple of decent vegetarian burger options, and were great value for money. This was the perfect place to grab the takeaways we hankered for after our car broke down west of the lake and a kind soul dropped us in town!

Great value for money, big menu selection from fish n chips to wraps to burgers. Love stopping by here everytime we head up north n back

Cheap but dont expect much quality...fish wrap and burgers are very average. Its fine as you dont have many choices around of takeaway.

Questionable portion sizes...Ok so we asked for a small portion of chips because at a normal chippy you get loads and we werent that hungry, but this is taking the piss a little bit..... Btw the fish was very nice

My wife and i come here often to get cheese and mayo chip but today on the 24/01/2020 it is the worst i seen this yet the chips was over cooked that it was full of oil which didnt taste very nice and it was put together really poorly

Placed a order of Cheese Burger, a All Up Burger and Garlic Chips that was about 6:10 pm. They told us we must wait 20 minutes which was fine, at 7:10 pm we asked what happened to our order and nobody knew where it was, after a while they found our order number laying on the table and had not been made, they told us they will make it for us but still had to wait, I was so upset and asked for a refund and left. Your advertising on the radio is false advertising and the service was very poor, I wonder what the travelers have to say as I reside in Turangi and will never go back there or tell people to go to your shop. Oh and by the way I had to give a star so I could manage to post this..You do not deserve any stars :((

Service was awesome, clean shop, really nice food, large menu range , plenty of options, and good prices..... the scoop of chips could have been a bit bigger, but were very nice.

I am not a fan of greasy battered fish, little expensive for amount that you get chip wize. Burgers are amazing though. Chicken is good but of so bad for you..lol. Not tried the roast, smells and looks good though.

I had a great piece of fish with kumara fries . My partner had their two for $7 fish burgers . Awesome value and not too oily

Been there twice, the fish werent fresh and didnt taste nice at all, the chips were well cooked and tough. Attitude wasnt the warmest either. In fairness I havent tried other meals, not likely to.

6pm Tuesday night in Turangi and we were desperate for something to eat. They had sold out of all but one of the roast meals. The guy serving was so kind and could see we were disappointed. He gave us an extra large portion of roast vegetables to apologize. We had a steak burger, chicken burger, nachos and large roast lamb meal. The meals were very good takeaway quality meals and the roast lamb was excellent. Thank you so much. We will come back again.

Hot dogs were fine but the fish and chips were really not good. They didnt look appealing or taste good. This was up there as one of our worst purchases of fish and chips. Price was also on the higher side which we wouldnt have minded so much had the price matched the quality

This place is always our planned stop for dinner or lunch when travelling from Hamilton-Wellington (or the other way). We’ve been in with large groups and have never had to wait long to get our food. Food is always fresh, great variety, great portions, good price and great service. I recommend this place to everyone I know!

Very disappointing!This place looked great so we thought we would be safe ordering from there, we opened our dinner packet to find 2 cremated hot dogs, they had obviously split open during the cooking process, 2 pieces of so called fresh fish, they were tiny, tasted old and one piece was so brown it was inedible, the potato fritter was overcooked and the large chip portion was pathetic, however the trax chips were cooked well. I was so unimpressed that I went back, I was refunded for our expensive fish and chips but I feel food like that should not have been served, the hot dogs and fish were plain nasty.

Awesome food. Old school kiwi fish and chips the way they should be. Tasty and well priced. I paid for two pieces of Hapuka and got given three huge portions. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Friendly staff with an extremely clean shop. Dont dive past this one when you are in Turangi!
