Absolutely delicious! I ordered take out a couple nights ago and it was amazing. I got the Pad Thai and fresh rolls. Both were fabulous. My food arrived still steaming and tasted so fresh and authentic. Please keep doing what your doing, cause this was a rare gem to find.

Food was very good, and staff was exceptional and friendly, in spite of me being there at the end of the night.

My wife and I are in Muncie for a band competition, and decided to eat at Tuptee because it was walking distance from our hotel. We are so glad we did! I had Kra Thom soup and pad gra prow. My way fe had fresh rolls (aka summer rollsand the Thai sweet & sour. Both were excellent! I fancy myself an experienced Thai restaurant goer, and Tuptee ranks very well in my opinion. I had heat level “4” which was nice and spicy without going overboard. We finished the meal with a couple count custard dessert which was just right.If we are ever in Muncie again, we will return. Maybe next year’s DCI competition, if our daughter is still competing.

Frustrating experience. I drove an hour to try this place and arrived at 1:40pm, and the two employees wouldn’t seat me because they close at 2:00. If your restaurant stops serving food more than 20 minutes before your closing time, you should list your closing time online to reflect when you are actually open. Or at least give latecomers the option to take something out.I obviously can’t speak to the quality of the food, but the unfriendliness I experienced left a bad taste in my mouth.

I love this little restaurant! I make a point to eat here whenever I am in Muncie. The food is always fresh and delicious with generous portions.

Fromour of town. Tried a couple of the curry dishes. Yellow was good and the Massaman was better. Only thing is the dishes could have been a little bigger, but no complaints. Will likely be back.

First time there. I never had Thai food before so I was leery about the food. I would go back again, food was good and the waitress did really good with the 7 of us.

I have been here multiple times over the past couple of years and I loved it every time. The food is fantastic and the owner and waitstaff are very kind. I graduated today and I brought my a large group of my family with me, and Im so glad I did. It is easy to tell the amount of care the owner puts into this restaurant. I will absolutely go here again the next time I come to Muncie.Id give this place more stars if I could!

Short of hopping on a jet, flying to Bangkok, this the best Thai food you will find. Fresh, hot, and carry out orders 100% correct.

Ordered the Basil Fried Rice hot and Pineapple Fried Rice Thai hot. The hot level was mild. The Thai hot was medium, at best. Both dishes lacked flavor. It tasted like eating greasy rice with a hint of basil. For high quality, flavorful, spicy Thai fried rice, go to Zapp Thai in Greenfield, IN.

Crab Rangoon was good. Everything else was OK- not bad, but not great either.Edit: The food was bland. We ordered a medium spice level....it was not the least bit spicy, or flavorful. The food was cooked well, just seriously lacking flavor, or even some salt. We ordered Pad Broccoli and Pad Priew Wann, another fried rice dish (cant remember which one), and a side of steamed veggies. The extra veggies were mostly bell peppers that were soggy.

Small intimate dining. Friendly staff. Clean. Fresh food. I ordered the yellow curry and it was exactly what I wanted. Tried the fried bananas and enjoyed the experience. Will return.

Food was mediocre and fairly bland. I had chicken pad Thai spicy (not spicy). Wife ordered mammam curry and received yellow curry. She just ate it and said it tasted ok but was heavy on green peppers.

A hidden gem in East Central Indiana. The Tom Kha soup was delicious; the green curry was exquisite; and the pad thai had all the right flavours. I was not expecting to find authentic Thai in Indiana, let alone in a small town like Muncie. Friendly staff in a clean restaurant with good vibes. Parking at the back. Highly recommended.

Panang curry was amazing. Better than any of the Thai places Ive been to in indy. All of the curries and soups Ive gotten there were great. Thai tea was underwhelming.

The server was very friendly and very accommodating for a surprise group of 7 diners. She offered great suggestions about the menu. Lunch portions were generous & reasonably priced. The food was excellent. I love that they give the option for the amount of spice (none, mild, medium, hot, spicy, Thai hotand it was served as ordered. Cant wait to come here again!

We finally were able to try Tuppee Tong Thai this past Friday (usually, we are in Muncie only on Sundays, when they are closed), and we were immensely pleased with the experience. The food was served fairly quickly and came to the table hot. Everything we ordered was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Jungle Curry - very light and refreshing (I tend to avoid much coconut milk due to diabetes, so to find a curry without it was exciting to me! And my daughter was delighted with the Coconut Jelly, and very artistic dish!Also, the hostess was very friendly and kind, patient with our ordering and never lacking in attentiveness to us, despite being very busy.Tuppee Tong Thai is now at the top of our delights in Muncie. We must try to get up there through the week more often!

I started eating Thai food over a year ago. I visited the three restaurants here in town, and this place blows all the others out the water. This is my go to for Thai. Im going tonight for dinner. They are always fast and friendly, and the food is sooooooooooooo delicious.

Great service and delicious food. The chicken pad see ew was very good! They make the noodles in house and also grow the peppers they use. Very fresh. I will definitely go back!

Tuppee Tong offers THE best Thai food we have ever had. The Adam Noodle is ridiculously yummy. Fresh, healthy and always stellar service. Visit soon!!!

This is always the best Thai food around, and the best service. I never get the same thing, and I have not had anything that wasnt absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!! Im totally stoked that they are open for dine in again. Even thru the "carry out only" phase, they are one of the few places that didnt operate on a "limited menu". Thank you Tuppee Tong for bringing all of the family recipes to our area.

Just stopped in for lunch today for the first time. What a great experience! Had the Thom Yum soup for appetizer and the ginger beef lunch special. Both were made from scratch and full of fresh vegetables. Everything was full of flavor and aromatic spice (instead of tons of salt). Left with hunger satisfied yet with a feeling of being refreshed and nourished not stuffed and lethargic. Better than some of the top Thai places in Indy for sure and a rare gem in a sea of boring chain restaurants here in Muncie. My new favorite place for good food in town!

My husband and I dined here on Tuesday and we’re heading back there today (Thursday).The service was amazing, server was extremely attentive (but not overbearing). The Thai dishes we enjoyed were second to none!!! Worth the drive!!!!

Tuppee Tong Thai is TOO tiny! The staff is very endearing and humble. The chairs are very uncomfortable seating for this Grannys rear- end, but I TOTALLY loved the ambiance and the fresh good quality Thai food , along with my fragrant jasmine tea. I also loved smelling the incense outside the door as I walked in. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Weve traveled all over the US and Tuppee Tong is, by far, the best Thai food Ive ever had! We drive 45 minutes every week just to eat here! The outside of the building is cute & unassuming, the inside is casual, clean and elegant. The staff is always extremely friendly & helpful, the food is fresh, served quickly and taste heavenly. We have so many favorites that its hard to narrow it down but any of their curries, Ladna on a cold day, Adam Noodle & Garlic, Tom Kah soup & fresh rolls with peanut sauce are our usuals. The prices are very fair for this quality of food. I could go on and on about how great this place is!

Was greeted warmly, seated quickly with prompt attention, it was lunchtime and was provided with a lunch free offering of ginger soup which was light and well balanced. Ordered the pad thai. Great taste, very good serving size and quick. In review, good food, friendly fast service and very economical.

Dinner was absolutely excellent. I had green curry with shrimp and my wife had red curry with pork. I like my food on the hot side and enjoyed my "spicy" (4 on a 5 point scalelevel immensely. My wife likes hers medium range and found her "medium" (2/5a little too mild. She said the flavor was excellent, though. I suspect a "hot" (3/5would have been right for her. There was just the right amount of rice to soak up the curry, as well. The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. We paid 30$ for our suppers and an order of coconut ice cream, and I feel it was worth every penny. We come to Muncie every Sunday to visit family, and well definitely be back!

Good service. Prices are reasonable. Variety of food is good. What I had was good. This was my kids first time trying Thai food. I think my oldest liked it. My youngest tried a curry. I think he should have tried something else for his first time.

I am visiting from LA and my friends brought me here! Tuppee Tong Thai has a great menu and fantastic service! Our waiter was very prompt - taking our order and bringing over waters. I was extraordinarily thirsty and he kept my glass full.The food didnt take too long to arrive either. There friends I was dining with all enjoyed their selections as did I (Tofu Pad Thai). They deliver the spice on the side off your plate so you get to stir it in.If you like Thai food, I recommend this restaurant!

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Muncie. You can tell the food is freshly made. They grow their own spicy peppers, so they can make your food as spicy as youd like. I asked for a "hot" level dish, and the waitress warned me that it would be very spicy. Ive been here many times and recommend it to friends who are looking to try something different in town.

I have recently had lunch here 3 different times. Each was consistently good,authentic Thai, that is served quickly and reasonably priced. I appreciate their heat ratings and willingness to cater to your taste and heat tolerance.

Probably my favorite dining establishment in town. The food is excellent, even if you arent a fan of Thai spiciness, and the setting is kinda small in a nice intimate sort of way. The staff always seems very polite. Heat is optional, and optimal. As a fan of very spicy food, I really appreciate the level of heat they have to offer, and am very pleased to know that the incredibly hot peppers they use are grown by the owner himself. Other Thai restaurants have disappointed me, and perhaps thats because Im holding them to a practically impossible standard. That standard was set at Tuppee Tong Thai.

Upon entering, it seemed small but quickly saw it was bigger than I thought. I was met by very friendly staff and helpful service. There were many options to choose from off the menu and everything is made to order so it easy to make adjustments to your food. I am a vegetarian so it is important they leave out the oyster sauce and fish oil, they were very helpful with this. The food came and it was very good. I ordered green curry and thai rice. I asked for medium on both. For the curry it was a little to hot for my taste, but enjoyed the meal very much. I would love to come back and eat here again. The wait staff, came and helped throughout the meal, when my daughter dropped her toy, they came and picked it up for us. I was impressed.

The food is out of this world very delicious and great customer service. Cozy place and cool will definitely return. For my first time eating Thai food I was very pleased.

The food is really great. The temperature they serve the food, the way your plate is decorated, and the actual flavor is all great. The service is on par with more expensive places and the environment would make most people feel at ease. Red and Green Curry can be spicy but very tasty. Overall, a great experience.

My family and I have come to love this restaurant and the wonderful atmosphere. We always love our meals and definitely have our favorites but they have many great options. I would like to note for Celiacs who need a gluten free meal without cross contamination, this place is great! My daughter and I have eaten here MANY times with no complications and the staff has been extremely helpful. The owners are great and run this place with compassion for their customers well being. Highly recommend you give them a visit!

Absolutely the best food and service in the tri county area! You can find anything better anywhere. Real chefs cooking top quality ingredients to order. Fresh healthy dishes with great flavor and the owners always in house to insure perfection in service. Whether you are looking for lunch or dinner this is the place. Great prices too.

I had the pad kee mao and it was fantastic! The portion sizes were a little small, but the food was so good and the service was on top of refilling our waters which was awesome! Cant wait to go again!

Man, I was blown by the food and the service. Their Thai spicy is perfect spicy for me. Well, the quantity of the Pad-Thai can be debatable. I have no qualms with the quality though! Sorry for the messed up plate, though it smelled so good I had to shove some in my mouth before clicking a picture :)
