Counter-serve chain featuring signature biscuits & other American classics from breakfast to dinner.
Came in with high hopes cause the place looked cute and smelled great but was disappointed. What really killed it was the fact they used that fake nacho cheese for all cheese needs. It took away from the taste of everything else. My boyfriends biscuit was so hard that cutting through it with the plastic knife they gave us. Potatoes were good though.
A delicious breakfast biscuit. One shouldnt be allowed to eat something this savory while driving.Edit: they are not always open during listed hours.
Great place. Really enjoyed the food. Nice little place that has a bit of everything good.
Best breakfast biscuits in the world I recommend the miner
I love the big biscuit sandwiches they have there
I never have to wait very long and the food is good
Dont waste your time coming here. Tudors biscuit world was completely out of biscuits at noon on a Sunday. I understand they were busy but they dont tell you until after youve waited in the drive thru line for 30+ minutes. Then they completely got my order wrong. Food was gross, drinks were wrong, then they hand you a receipt that has a place for gratuity on the overpriced order they got completely wrong. Wont be returning
2nd biscuits I ever had but no one has grandmas recipe
The best flaky buscuits in WV. They have a multitude of combinations, and the best sweet tea in the state!
The portions are huge. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The biscut was the biggest I ever saw!
I just had Jeff nasty one and it was nice!!👍👍
Love Tudors, stop by whenever Im in the area!
Theyre not messing around at Biscuit World. These biscuits are big and delicious. Dont be a Rich (picturedand think you can eat two... or do, theyre pretty good.
The Golden Eagle is my favorite biscuit!!! Do yourself a favor and give it a try. I have since moved away from Morgantown, but when I am back I always grab one. Thank you!
I’ve been going to tutors since I could gum down a sausage biscuit. I’ve been to my fair share in this state, and I’ve always had mostly pleasant experiences. Today, I ordered my usual. A gravy platter with two biscuits, an order of cheesy potatoes, and a large sweet tea. One can only imagine my horror when upon arriving home, I opened my cheesy potatoes to find that the cheese was missing. Now I just have potatoes. I’ll have to make do somehow. Gravy platter was just as good as usual. 3 stars.
Love the biscuits. Stayed near here so we could get some for our trip. Fast and friendly service.
Had no idea this was a chain. Menu was intriguing. Food was good, but didnt have that fresh mom and pop taste I was expecting. Now I know why.
Some of the best sausage gravy and biscuits anywhere... and plenty of it! I never pass up a chance to eat some!
The food is always great but as stated on the drive thru screen, they are short on workers.... took 25 minutes for a sausage and cheese biscuit. Wont be back till thats fixed, I dont have that much time.
Tudor’s is a staple of West Virginia culture. If you’re from out of state, make sure to stop here for the experience.
After waiting 30minutes in line, i got half of my breakfast and said to be reimbursed 2 days later. Lady on the phone said she wasnt even going to answer. Business definitely needs work!
Love it! Everything is super! The only problem I they are closed way too early! The peppi biscuits are a true WV favorite!
The Tudors in Morgantown is the worst Tudors in the state. Ordered a biscuit and gravy and a thundering herd with the hash brown potato on the side and was charged for and received a side order of potatoes plus the other things with the hash brown still on the biscuit. Didnt want a side of potatoes just the hash brown off the biscuit on the side. Would give a lower star but theres not a half star. And when I tried to call the phone is off the hook. Pitiful service will never eat there again.
Never been to morgantown but once in my life so when I came to drive for my mom operation from ruby I found this amazing place in the morgantown book that advertises food in the area. They had a great 2 page spread and menu totally peaked my interest. JEFFS NASTY CHICKEN SANDWHICH is to die for I read such menu in the book and this was just spontaneous and out there but I jus and to try it I arrive to this small town looking diner and greater my the what I believe to be the owner or store manager maybe but he was very professional easy to talk to and have the restaurant a welcoming environment! I came by for breakfast ordered what I came for and a large sweet tea. 😋 the food was to die for! The sweet tea was perfectly sweet. Once I retrieved my mom from the hospital and b4 heading ho.e on our 3 hr trip, she was starved to I took her to Tudors and that man was so excited lol mom loved her tator platter absolutely loved it that we both agreed where keeping the place as our go to! The owner even joked to hire me with my mom. Love this dude n highly recommended
We stopped in before the basketball game on Sunday. The drive-thru was backed up into the road, parking lot was full and the lobby was packed. They had a sign up by the register in the lobby saying due to staffing, it might take a bit. We ordered 5 sandwiches total. It took about 30 minutes to get our food, but I expected that based on the number of people waiting and the few people working.Everyone really liked the food. I got the Huggy Bear and it was excellent. There was a woman in the restaurant that pulled the I need to speak to the manager because she didnt like waiting... We will definitely go back though.
Great Food! We expected a long wait as there were LOTS of cars in the drive through and the inside was packed but the food came out fast and was delicious!Thank You!
I frequent tutors often as a customer and as a delivery driver for GrubHub a lot of the employees in there I know in a first name basis and I always had a pretty positive experience until today when I dealt with the owner‘s wife. They have been having an ongoing issue all winter with her heat not working today has been the worst no heat and 0° weather last night their employees are completely covered from head to toe in winter gear to try and stay warm! There was a pregnant girl sitting in the back practically in tears and shaking she was so called a couple of the employees I spoke to did not wanna be there but are afraid to say something to the owner and I can see why when she came out to speak to me she was immediately aggressive nasty had an attitude and told me that if I didn’t like what was going on I can go elsewhere. I informed her that her employee should not be here working when you can see your breath inside the business she told me everybody wants to be working everybody wants jobs and I told her no ma’am they’re afraid to say something to you and I can see why you’re nasty and aggressive and as an owner to this business you immediately telling me I can go elsewhere shows you care nothing about your employees! I even spoke to her husband a few times with me being inside the facility and he said that it’s been an ongoing issue with their heat but his wife part owner told me that this was a one time thing goes to show that she’s very dishonest as well! I feel really bad for the employees there and it just goes to show when you try to stick up for the employees you get attacked by the owner shame on them! Goes to show you that money matters more than employees
they did not open at 7am. I was in the drive thru before 7am and pulled up to the window at 704am received a slight attitude because they were still opening. However she tried to remain positive which was nice. but if you list you open at 7am you should open at 7am.
Such great, friendly service. Running low on staff, so wait was much longer than usual, but everyone was so nice and helpful! They were out of somrthing i wanted and heped me find an aternative that was equally delish.
Do not attempt to get anything from these terribly incompetent people. I understand "before covid". But cmon, thats no longer a feasible excuse for laziness. Was trying to have a quick late lunch between work sites. Pulled into the drive through 5-10 minutes before 1:00p.m.(closing time). I notice the paper sign posted to the menu board that has hours of operation. Having worked in the service industry I politely ask if they are still open. The obviously annoyed lady inside said "Yes. For a couple more minutes." I said "may I order a biscuit?" "Im sorry were out of biscuits" she says. Im assuming this franchise is on such a tight budget "because covid" that the manager absolutely could not afford to make another batch of biscuits in case there were a few left at the end of the day.So I guess if you dont like Tudors biscuit world for their awesome biscuits you will probably enjoy whatever else they serve. Otherwise steer clear.
The wait was long for what we got. Price did not match what the order board said. Ask about it and was told "I dont know anything about it"..exact words. When we finally got our order and the receipt according to the recept we were charge for the meat part separately from the meal making a difference of a $7.00 over charge. Will not be stopping there again nor recommend this Tudors to anyone.
It’s definitely a franchise spot, with plenty of dusty covered WVU items and kitschy stuff hanging around. Food was great. The kitsch added to a homeliness I love about my Southerners, but it could definitely use a good, prideful, cleaning to make the blue shine again and get rid of the dust. Would recommend, regardless.
It was very good , just off the beaten track. Service was fast - food was hot and freash.
First time dining on a friends recommendation and it was great! Biscuit sandwiches are 3 times as big as McDonalds and are fresh. Sausage gravy was pretty good as well. Gentleman at the counter was amazing in talking to us about the menu and helping us decide. Will definitely stop again when were driving through from out of town!
My husband and I were driving through Morgantown and were looking for a great place to have breakfast and saw the 4.4 google review rating and so we went there. What a mistake!!! Dining room closed even though most of the US is open. The lobby was packed with maskless people and the employees weren’t wearing masks. My husband and I ordered water to drink and were each charged $2.75 for a cup of water!!! A soda was only $2.25. Then my order was wrong. We ate outside using plastic, disposable utensils, our food was served In styrofoam (which is non-biodegradable), and the trash cans were overflowing with all of the non-biodegradable items! I highly recommend taking your business to an establishment which cares about it’s customers and the environment. This place does neither. !
The Jeffs Nasty was amazing, the sausage gravu definitely is a must. Definitely well worth the price, the service was super good and we got our food fairly quick. Definitely would recommend!
The biscuits are always amazing! At this location to drive through line seems to be rather long, but its still worth it. Every time I take a trip to West Virginia I always have to stop at Tudors
Drive through had 5 vehicles in line at 10Am. Too many menu choices for folks with vision limitations. The biscuits and sausage gravy are always the best. We bring extra biscuits home and put them in the toster for next days breakfast (with coffee, of course!).
I went in on a coworkers recommendation. I saw a breakfast special on the board outside, and decided to let my appetite taken it from there. It included biscuits and gravy, sausage and potatoes, and candied apples to finish. I sat in my car and dug into one of the best breakfasts Ive had in a while. The homemade biscuits were enormous and the gravy I slathered them in was delicious and filling. The eggs were topped with salt and the yolks runny. If youre looking for breakfast thats fast and easy (it took maybe 3-5 minutes to get my foodthis is definitely one I would recommend. I would share photos but I always end up eating good food before I think about the review.
Soooo good. It takes a good while to get your food but boy is it worth it. Took me awhile to try because I can get 2 sandwiches at your big name fast food joint for the same price. But man was it worth it and have I been missing out. Best breakfast sandwich EVER
Ordered through drive-thru, no napkins. Biscuit looked good, the country ham here is quality. My order was correct. However, the biscuit was underdone and doughy in the middle. My hands smelled strongly of onions afterwards although neither of us had onions on anything. Food prep issues???
Loved the bologna sandwich!! It was really good, but taking 1 star because it was a long wait and the ran out of biscuits and chicken for awhile. I assume its not the norm, being that they were super busy.
I was really impressed with the food, service, and COVID19 precautions. You could easily see everyone was talking COVID19 seriously and still trying to produce a quality product. My family ordered a mix of breakfast, Cheeseburger, and & BLT. Food was fresh and tasted amazing!HIGHLY RATED!
I feel like the reviews here are based more on "tradition" and "nostalgia," and less on the actual food.We picked up breakfast this morning and I have to say, it as extremely underwhelming. A large portion size is awesome, but it doesnt mean anything when you dont want to eat the food...Biscuits and gravy: 4 giant biscuits, a bit dry, but thats usually not a big deal when theyre smothered in sausage gravy. Unfortunately, these werent so much "smothered" as they were, "lightly misted," with a gravy I hesitate to call sausage, as it contained very little meat.Pancakes: 3 giant pancakes with interiors the consistency of half set mortar. Worse was the "breakfast syrup" that accompanied them. Youd think a place with this many glowing reviews would have actual maple syrup and not maple flavored corn syrup. All of this was severely under seasoned. Like they ran out of salt, and didnt bother to get anymore.I recommend this place if you want a ton of food you can only eat about a quarter of.Im pretty sure this place is only in business before people take theyre kids, then there kids grow up and take their kids, and the cycle just continues.Break the cycle.
I absolutely love this place. I had never had a biscuit before in my life until the other day and I ate two full biscuit meals here. It truly was an amazing experience with an awesome atmosphere and awesome employees. 10/10 highly recommend
Great food! With healthy options. I am on keto diet and love coming here
I came in for a visit after being gone for 4 months. Biscuit World had always been my favorite. Probably eaten there 30 times over the last 5 years. This visit was very disappointing though. Upon arrival I asked the girl behind the counter how she was doing and she said "Im Here" not exactly positive but employees are hard to find so I get that part. I ordered 2 eggs over med., 1 biscuit, sausage gravy, grits and a milk. The eggs were cooked just fine, the grits were possibly 1/2 of a very small side bowl, sausage gravy was just not as good as it had always been, it reminded me of canned gravy at best. The biscuit was as large as always but dry and not near a buttery as I remember. The entire meal was small portioned, unseasoned and just not what I had become accustomed to. Also the small container of milk was $2.50. When the girl at the counter told me how much it was, I questioned her since $2.50 is unbelievably high for a small milk. She replied, "We dont always agree with what happens here but yes it is $2.50." I wondered if the place had been sold to new owners or possibly a new manager. Just not what I had enjoyed in the past. I was meeting clients there for breakfast tomorrow but I think IHOP may be my best choice now. Its a shame but possibly the Biscuit World in Summersville is still up to par.
This is a bright, airy location with WVU inspired decor and friendly staff. The biscuits are delicious to boot! Worth a stop if youre in town!
Tudors Biscuit World is must stop in WV 👍🏼 we liked the biscuit sandwiches, and the wraps were amazing. Will be back to try the burger
Wife had a burger and I had a ham egg and cheese biscuit. Good food good service!
