JW Marriott Hotel 4 Sukhumvit Rd, Khlong Toei, Bangkok 10110, Thailand, Bangkok
Tsu - Japanese restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand
authentic? no way.Thai Japanese restaurant for Marriott price.
We went for weekend lunch buffet. The service was exceptionally good and the sashimi was very fresh. Salmon belly was very nice.
- super friendly and effective service- sushi selection is upper quality- whole reservation process was pleasure- was expecting a little more variety of options from the menu- used the value from Megatix Voucher
One of the most popular Japanese restaurants in Bangkok for a reason. Quality
A hidden gem on the Lower Ground floor of the JW Marriott, the teppanyaki set lunches at @THB1,000 is value more money considering the quality of beef.Bonvoy Platinum members still get 10% discount on the meal. Highly recommended ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
Never disappoints! The lunch set prices at Tsu are a steal for the quality and taste of the food. Service was incredible โ staff were very accommodating and friendly. Food was incredibly filling! Would come back here whenever! Recommend for anyone and everyone looking for good quality Japanese food.Note: The lunch set is available only on weekends
Food is nice and stuffs are nice and quick- very responsive for my orders.
nice food felt the price is little high for the foodbut wen enjoyed it
A nice Japanese restaurant to have lunch here. Big portion of food they served. Will definitely come back again : the toufu is so soft and tasty. Very good service of the staff -5 star
Amazing dining experience. Best sushi Ive had outside of Japan!
Had dinner here with the family. Ordered a variety of sashimi, sushi, tempura, and soups/hotpot.Overall, everything was delicious. Considering the location of the restaurant, the prices were high but the quality and taste of everything made the experience quite enjoyable. The serving staff were all fantastic as well. The only negative Ive got for the meal was that the sashimi were sliced too thick. Each slice should be half the thickness.Would I return again? Possibly for special occasions. There are simply too many Japanese restaurants in Bangkok to say for certain Id return.
Nice atmosphere! Very attentive staff. The ingredients are fresh. The food tastes good. There are many layer of taste in different dish.
Love the A4 saga beef very much. All the food taste delicious and fresh. Itโs costly but worth the quality. Services are nice too and we like the way they set table to have some distance between one another. We used e-voucher of club Marriott member to get 50% discount this time. Enjoy family meal together here.
3.5 stars for food and 4 stars for service. Bright and contemporary design. Good place for business meals. $$$$
The food is pricey it reflects with the food quality. Service is great.
Good deal for lunch set and also have promotion for Mon-Friday 50% discountFresh fish and I like homemade tofu. Great atmosphere and definitely recommended will come back again for sure
Came here on a Monday for lunch. Itโs a high end restaurant with a nice ambience. Service is good and so is the food. Sashimi is amazingly fresh and every single dish is quality. Prices are also high end, but currently thereโs 50% discount.
Great quality and promotion.
Delicious and fresh Japanese fish. High end ambience with choice for private room. Ideal for business lunch meetings. Price is on the upper end but with 50% discount during covid year, it is a great value. Service is great!
The food is ok but way overpriced. The fish is very fresh, its not the problem. Ive been there because of 50% promotion and once the bill was presented there was a 300 baht sur service charge. The service charge was calculated on the full price... Which make the service charge more than 15% (and there is tax to finish you off).
quite delicious. and the deal 50% discount was great.
Restaurant inside JW marriott hotel.
fantastic japanese foods
Good quality. Good ambience. Good service.
Good & fresh sushi.Very nice service.
We had kaiseiki and mini-kaiseiki set which are average taste and quality compared to the price but luckily, they do have 50% off promotion. Service is as good as standard. They do charge for government tax and service charge from full price, not from after 50% discount which I feel like I was cheated. Not recommend.
Nice food. Nice ambience. I had plenty of sashimi. Very nice to go with a partner.
Very good quality here. Service was good too. Love the spacious ambiance.
(Edit to review the reply from owner. I have dined with you before. This was not my first time of course. I wouldnโt review without even eating. Came there last time 2 months ago as well.)Overpriced to the top!2 nigiri uni cost 1400 baths (tax & sc included)That is almost 47 USD for 2 uni nigiri...Same with everything else..... Simple salmon rolls are around 1200 baths. 40 usd....Ive eaten at most of the best Japanese restaurants here in Bangkok but this one I give 1 star because of the ridiculous pricing.Decoration and atmosphere not even that special.I will not visit this restaurant again....So many other much better restaurants and value for money in Bangkok.
If you are looking for Japanese food. With reasonable price fresh good service, clean , good tastes ... totally recommended this restaurant.
Great exprerience of Sashimi in 5 stars hotel. Great services. Good deal.We otdered Sashimi 10 pcs. Spider roll and Minikaizakiset. Quality of the food was very good. Sashimi very fresh. Spider roll was very tasty. Minikaizakiset is a good deal.
Do I need the very best of Japanese like kaiseki or omakase sushi all the time. Not really, especially the recent days. Something comfort, decently nice, and lovely + sincere people are enough honestly. TsuNami at JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok has long been an enjoyable destination. Both food and staffs are lovely.7Aug19: Just reopened with the face-lifted of the entrance. Instead of just a piece of art show that does not utilise the space well, now they have put more seats and new decor. The remaining is more or less the same but brighter which is better. Still delicious and comfort with great service team. Love it.
My to go place in Bangkok. Tepanyaki is just amazing and the rest of the foods are great. Fantastic service and great location.
The quality of food was superb. We ordered wagyu, scallops, salmon, snowfish and salad. They all tasted good. The size and look of salad bowl could be improved compared to the price. The place and presentation was impressive. Attentive staff. Great service.
Great place, great sushi and sashimi.
On of the best Japanese Sushi/Sashimi so far. Scallops, Wagyu beef, Sake.....Itโs not the cheapest option, but worth every penny spent for!
The whole place smelled like cigarette smoke since people were smoking outside and the restaurant is not insulated. They atmosphere felt old and like eating in a cheap mall with dim lighting. They did not have Kobe beef on the menu, so there is really no reason to come here and pay these crazy prices for not great food. Service was attentive but the other factors make it a place to avoid.
Personally love cooked and fusion menu here more than raw bar. For example ; sliced shiromi with sauce, Hamachi jalapeno, beef tataki, sushi roll, etc. For normal sashimi and sushi I personally think that the price is bit high and variation is quite ordinary with nothing special. Another yummy menu is homemade white sesame tofu! Great services.
Dined here with the promotion on eatigo (40% off the ala carte menu). Went around 1130 and the restaurant slowly filled for lunch. Food was ok but not as heavenly as before. Worth a shot only with the eatigo promo
Very good Japanese food though it could be better for this price.Service was perfect except cookers were always talking and joking loudly which isnโt nice for customers who are seating at the bar in front of them, far from Japanese chef spirit.
High end japanese restaurant.Specialised in ala carte and sashimi/sushiA bit pricey but quality followGood ingredients and excellent servicesAverage green tea.It had twin restaurant name nami which specialised in teppan yaki
There are many other reviews of this place are misleading as Tsu is not the teppanyaki restaurant. The teppanyaki/steakhouse is the other one next to this restaurant called "Nami".Tsu is, in fact, a Japanese restaurant serves traditional Japanese dishes with wide range of foods type. This time, I tried Mini Omakase course which is good on both of the quality of sashimi and main course. However, as a Marriott member, we got discount price 50% which becomes good for price/performance.
Thank for quality meal with superb ingredients used. Chose Japanese Saga Ribeye for my course and also lamb tenderloin. Saga beef was really a pleasure. Thx to chef Bualong whom displayed great cooking skill. Foie Gras fried rice was cook to perfection not too oily nor salty. Yuzu sorbet was a great way to end my meal. Restaurant manager was friendly and always approachable. Very hospitable
Excellent food and service. Quality beef. Staffs were very attentive.
One of the best Japanese food in town.
had the omkasa deluxe and it was amazing, some of the best japnonese food in Bangkok hands down.
My favorite teppanyaki restaurant in Bangkok. Quality of meat is superb. Saga beef ribeye was heavenly and melted in my mouth. Restaurant at lunchtime was a little quieter than expected. Eatigo provides excellent promotions.
Some of the freshest Sashimi in Bangkok. Excellent tastes, flavours and textures across the Omakase Lunch.
I dont know why this is the No 1 restaurant in TripAdvisor. Chef put too many sauce. The wagyu is not better than any one restaurant in Japan. Snow fish was over cooked. The best thing is fruit: Japanese melon
Absolutely the best tempura I ever had!The place has the sleek design that is nowadays synonymous to upscale sushi restaurants, but in spite of that, it has a very cozy feeling, and is not expensive at all for Western standards.Impeccable service and advice (especially for Western sushi lovers like myself who, after years or "Euro-styled" sushi, have finally had the chance to taste the real thing in Asia): the tuna maki melts in your mouth, tempura brings tears of joy and the sliced dried fish I had as an appetizer (too bad I cant remember its namewas a pleasant discovery. Will I come back next time I have the chance to visit Bangkok? Absolutely yes!
