Good enough, better than expected..
10/10 super cool everything
Closed for renovations!
Love this place
Arrive early as the museum is huge otherwise you may not get the necessary time at the exhibits.
Good
super place
Fantastic place but I would definitely give it at least 2 days as the museum is massive. In addition I would also recomend going to the fist part of the museum where you can even go to a shooting range. It is the biggest museum in the world so keep in mind that it takes a long time to go and see everything.
Great museum!
Huge , huge museum, many vehicles and a great dose of fun!
No tiger tank, hard to get there without car, you should call taxi when going out.
This muzeum is really great. You fibd almost all the tank soviet production. From early times to the modern ones. There are also 2 hangars dedicated to tanks made in other countries, mainly Germany and USA, but you can find also some rarety like the hungaroan Toldi. Moreover there is the only existing prototype of the german tank Maus, aslo the biggest one in the 2ww.
The Perfect place for tanks lover! :3
Awesome

Great place, but hard to find... M
So many tanks in one place. Set aside a full day to see them all.
Big good collection of different tanks, but organization of this exhibition I would rate it as very bored..just walk through narrow pavilions.. I would recommend them to do something interesting, maybe interactive, to attract visitors
Great place for tank lover
If you are into heavy metal this is your place
This is simply a great museum! The collection of tanks there is very large, and you even get to try to shoot a firearm of your choice for only 1100 rubles.
Awesome tanks, the collection is being moved into patriot park.
Significant part of artifacts has been moved to Patriot Park
Ok
Karacho
No need to say anything. You come here and you worship. This is the place that you can show off to your friend for the rest of your life...
I was there with some Russian friends. The place is pretty unique with so many tanks, hundreds I guess. There, are Russian, British, German and American tanks and more. They span about all of the 20th century. Some of them are used a lot in WW II movies. Nice to see them up close here. We spent about two hours here. Theres also plenty of souvenirs to buy, a restaurant, toilets and abundant parking place.
I came here to see the famous Maus and other Germany tanks of the World War 2.
Tanks! Anyone who loves them has to go!!
Great museum with tanks in great condition. It is quite far so it takes some planning to visit it fro Moscow but it is worth it. The whole complex (with Patriot Park, shooting range etctakes whole day to visit so take it into consideration.
One of the biggest tank museums in the western hemisphere. With many unique machines the museum will be breathtaking to all tank lovers.Sadly the German pavilion had been recently relocated to another location, however the Maus and some other machines are still there. Please note that nothing is in English (including peopleand getting to this place on public transport might prove tricky. And well, the quality of everything is quite sketchy. Make sure you go with someone who speaks russian, otherwise these f***ers will scam you into paying three times the actual ticket price.Ps, beware of cafeteria food
Best tank exhibits in the world in terms of their collections. Out of the way though, and would recommend guide if you dont speak Russian.
Amaising place!
Very rich in tanks but communication is very bad only by taxi and private cars
one if the best tank museums in the world; mostly covers ww2 era and soviet vehicles
Good
Awesome museum, a lot of tanks. And the biggest tank in World War II. No english info...
Lets cut to the chase: the price list literally says "foreigners have to pay 1700 rouble each" wheras russians only have to pay 500!!!! What the f... While walking through the hangars I met two more foreigners who only had to pay 500 each. This obviously made me wonder why I had to pay 1700. Nevertheless, I kept exploring the tanks that were on display. I was particularly interested in the german Maus tank that you cant see anywhere else but in this museum. Hence, I entered the german hangar and I was more than disappointed since german classics like the Tiger 1 and the King Tiger/Tiger 2 werent even on display although there were signs saying they were there (many other german tanks werent there either)... After seeing the Maus I went back to the ticket office to ask why I had to pay 1700 roubles (btw every single sign is written in russian - and only in russian - except the one saying youre not allowed to climb onto the tanks). I asked the lady whether she spoke english and she said yes, so I asked her why I had to pay 1700 instead of 500 and she answered in russian... The discussion went on for several minutes with her speaking russian and me speaking english until finally another vistior showed up who spoke a little bit of english and explained to me why I had to pay 1700 roubles. Again, thats because 500 roubles is only the price for russians. I told him to ask the lady why other foreigners only had to pay 500 and she said that they probably asked a russian guy to get their tickets for them. Therefore I RECOMMENDED EVERY FOREIGNER TO ASK A RUSSIAN PERSON TO BUY HIS/HER TICKET FOR HIM/HER.PS: The exhibition isnt very creative. I.E. you walk through the hangars and you have tanks to your left and right and thats it. Unfortunately, all descriptions are only in russian.THOSE WHO HAVE SEEN THE TANK MUSEUMS OF MUNSTER,GERMANY AND SAMUR,FRANCE DONT NEED TO SEE THIS!!!
Interesting if you love tanks
One of the best WW2 museums in the world.
Fantastic place to visit if in Moscow, plenty of military vehicles to see and the food is fairly good too!Just watch out for the toilets! Its quite an adventure to get here via a train and taxi from Moscow but a very entertaining journey.Costs 400 roubles for a return train ticket, 200 roubles for a taxi each way and 1200 roubles to get in including taking photos.Well worth the time to get there.
Great collection, but a bit low service level and remote location.
