Trujillo Central Park - City park in Santiago, Peru
Nice place to visit.
Very pretty and safe.
Nice 🙂👍
Its not the biggest main square in Latin America, not the most elaborate one, but in my opinion, certainly one of the best.I like the clean, elegant, simplistic, open space design of the square.- 2022/09/27
Like any other Park didnt feel specal energy
Yes🤗
My beautiful city ❤️
Beautiful the cultural heart of trujjilo
Beautiful area, clean, safe and full of families and kids…
Cute lil square .. fun to hang out during evenings
Its a pretty typical plaza, it actually used to be more impressive the latest renovation was a shameful disgrace
Really impressive. Same spot for city tours bus. Everything is around the corner.
Wowwww, my favourite city!! I love this place my Trujillo ypu must know, you cant visit peru and go back without know my stunning Trujillo city...all wonderful times and lovely people I recommend visit at the north of Peru
You can find kids, street dogs , cotton candy sellers, park security guard, police, millitary, a very bad representation of spiderman costume worn by a smelly guy
Nice park, a must see in Trujillo, must see...
It clean and security place, before there was an egg vendor but now for the informality not. Btw it look amazing to take photos of the sunset
Nice central park for chilling. It doesnt have many places open directly on it thou. For refreshments you have to go to one of the surrounding streets.
A nice place to hang out and watch the world go by. Its often a venue for traditional dance performances.
Beautiful plaza, very clean, quiet. I really love to walk in Plaza de Armas.
The square looks somewhat nice, but heck, I wouldnt recommend to anyone to stay here, or around here, or even visit.
Beautiful main square with impressive sculptures. Feels like history just jumps out at you.
Amazing experience. This place is very beautiful and safe. I recommend this place.
Just a very nice city central park square with the City Hall along the edge and many businesses. There is neat Spanish architectural style to many of the buildings.
Loved the architecture of Trujillo and the laid-back atmosphere. The buildings reminded me of Andalucia in the south of Spain. Also enjoyed visiting the fascinating archaeological site of Chan Chan. The site was the capital of the Chimu civilization (AD 1100-1470and the largest city in the Americas in pre-Columbian times. It was also the largest adobe citadel on earth.
The locals react very strange to foreigners and cant stop staring, especially at black people.
Trujillo Central Park is an excellent public square surrounded by public buildings, government offices, and churches. There are nice restaurants in the area. The park and surroundings are well maintained and clean. Policies are present at all the corners.
The largest main square of Peru is the most beautiful, too. It still keeps some of its old glory destroyed by one of its recent mayors. What is terrible about the governments administration is that street vendors have invaded the square.
I think its a magic place, the streets and city around has tradition, history and the walls looks like recently building.
Pretty standard square, but pretty buildings
Lots of police around and people that will try to get very uncomfortable close to you. Most are just trying to legitimately sell you things. But be cautious and be aware of your surroundings.
Very beautiful
Beautiful place to take pics, very clean and very safe to walk around
The most beautiful square Ive seen in the north of Perù, vibrant and colorful, Trujillo is the most colored town, like its archeological sites 😉
Very nice park, quiet and surrounded by beautiful colonial buildings plenty of colors I spend some time talking and relaxing!
Nice. Reminded me of Southern and Western Spain. Nice city were few gringos go. I Like that . it was safe. Even with blue eyes, it was like I was one of them..
Awesome, its an incredible place in the north of Perú...the view of this place at night its amazing...100% recommended, I love it Trujillo Central Park by night.
Trujillo was not our favorite. Its a pretty rough town with a lot of garbage. We stayed one night and then headed to Huanchaco. Maybe there is some charm here but we werent willing to find it. Actually it was the only place in all of Peru we felt unsure about our safety.
A nice place to hang out and walk around
Kept clean and a good amount of security both private and public (police). Beautiful Catholic Church one the corner with nice architecture on the government buildings around the square. Even the McDonalds on the corner has a nice outside look even though it is generally very dirty in the eating areas inside.
Trujillo Central Park very cool place to visit. You can find most of the old buildings in this area. Plenty of places to sit and watch the people come take selfies of themselves in front of the Trujillo Central Park monument.
Very clean and friendly. Local "police" keep the street vendors away and ensure it stays clean. Ringed by beautiful old mansions.
Trujillo Central Park very cool place to visit. You can find most of the old buildings in this area. Plenty of places to sit and watch the people come take selfies of themselves in front of the Trujillo Central Park monument. Walk up and Down the streets around the plaza. The only buses going north there office is in this area. Its in the Western Union office right in front of the plaza monument.
Nice city park with occasional concerts including folk dancing.
Wonderful old Spanish Square. Most buildings facing it are restored.Gardens in square very colourful and it felt safe.
Clean and safe. Great to take a sit after a long day of exploring the city.
Pobre planes de gobierno. Plaza totalamente cerrado por 6 meses. No lugares o bancos por asiento. No sillas. Nada. Y hay no parques en el centro. If you are a tourist dont bother with the Plaza and Trujillo is just not a great place without it. Terrible planningAmendment: Plaza has been open since the papal visit in January. Pleasant to walk through now.
This is a recently updated Plaza in the typical arrangement of government building s and Cathedral on the perimeter. I think you will find it a nice place to relax for a little while and people watch.
The newly renovated plaza is soon ready for the arrival of the Papa.
A large and beautiful square to see and sit for a while.
Shiniest square Ive ever seen. ;)
