Relax atmosphere and food is fairly good

First time visiting and would not reccomend it.0.4/10 for me. My really close friend brought me here for a birthday dinner and horrible.The food was trash.The air was stink (sewage water stink).The vibes was dull.The restaurant was empty.Customer service was lacking...We ended up going to Fromage for take out.

No.. experience a big joke. Staff, wait time ...smdh.

The service was extremely slow and the food was horrible. I ordered a bbq spare ribs that was tough, I couldnt cut the meat. The waitress advised that it could not be changed as all the pieces were the same.

Ambiance was great, food was delicious! Presentation of food needs a little improvement.

The server tried her best but all the food was poorly prepared in flavor. Ordered a steam fish, when it came it was pint sized and cold. I was told its a 1lb fish. I laughed. Lobster was ok. Jerl pork was not fresh. Im a loyal truck stop customer. Been going here for 10 years. Ive never had food that isnt good from here. Better luck next time. Ill be back

Truck stop never disappoint me been here 4-5 times n its always good; been coming here before it moved to market place💯💯 d food always nice n didnt really take long to teach d tableI dont remember the waitress name but she was polite n friendly definitely will visit again n again n again💯💯😊😊

Got there a little later than their new curfew-enforced cut-off time and was so disappointed as my entire family (group of 7was looking forward to the experience. But they made a valiant effort and facilitated us with excellent customer service from Matthew. Needless to say, a great time was had by all!!Thanks Truck Stop!

They have awesome bbq pork ! Customer service was good .. wait time wasn’t bad and we went on a Friday night. Perfect for a little after work chill too.

Extreeeeeemly bad, bad, bad service!!!! Waitress had ABSOLUTELY NO customer service!Here is my list of what went wrong that night:1. Server took about 20 minutes to give us the menu2. She had a very bad attitude, i dont even know what her name because she literally came and threw the menu on the table and left.3. She took another 20 minutes to come take our orders.4. She didnt even offer us water5. She took away the bar menu and didnt even ask us if we wanted to get something to drink.6. Burger was under cooked!7. Oh, and the bill, I thought she forgot about it because she took forever to bring it, too.Overall, was an awful experience!

Extremely bad service at the new location. Definitely need an improvement in service. Took 1 and a half hr to get the food and another 30-45mins to get the bill. In fact I have still not gotten a bill. Have to walk to the window to collect a bill. Definitely not a recommendation .

Food not good at all, shrimp pasta had about 4 small shrimps, green plantain seemed to have been fried along time ago and then reheated, it was saturated in oil and as flaky as a patty!! Wings didnt taste fresh, tasted like it was cooked awhile before and then reheated, was just horrible. Fries was cold and limp. The waitress looked and acted like she didnt want to be there from the get go. God bless the mixed drinks, those were good.

The place could do with a little fixing up. Our server decided not to write down orders (6 in total). When we asked for separate bills he had a tough time remembering our orders and it took him two tries before he decided to write down the orders based on what we told him we had. I had the wings (freshly friedbut the BBQ sauce is not the best (think about taking any form of sauce on the side). The fried plantain tasted as if it was fried in "stale" oil. The music was loud for no reason and it wasnt tuned properly. I had vowed to not go back some years ago and because of co-workers I decided to visit again. Now, I know for sure I will never return.

Restaurant has a unique ambiance complementing the very delicious food and excellent customer service. Great for family and friends and to even share with an intimate one. Prices are reasonable too. The only minor problem would be the slight rocking of the furniture which seems to be a part of the setting.

Great ambiance...very spacious. I like the rustic look. Food is good also and I really appreciate the volume of the music, it allows for conversation. However the selection of music leaves a lot to be desired. All on all its a pretty decent place to eat and have some casual fun.

Good vibes, fast service for a Friday. Music not too loud, you can have a conversation. Not crowded. We arrived fairly early though...about 7pm and they had ample parking. The parking lot filled up a bit as the hours passed. We stayed 2+ hours, felt like 45 minutes. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. Good place to go with kids, date night, or just to hangout with friends.

The service was very poor, I waited about an hour before I received my meal. Took my mom there for mothers day and she ordered fish and pork. She only Got the fish and it was salty,we had to cancel the rest of our order due to the extremely long wait. Didnt even get the drinks that we ordered initially, I had to just order two malta and we still had to wait about 15 minutes to get those. I was so upset. Im never going there again .

I bought Roast fish for my wife. It was totally amazing. Was made to order so the wait time was like 25 mins not too shabby. She loved it and was sad when it was done. Recommend!!

One of the worst place with poor customer service in carribean,30 minute and counting, nobody taking orders, waiter just idle chat among each other and go around with nothing to do, same person is taking the load while some just idle. Just feel great to leave the place and put the money elsewhere which serve better food and good customer services.

The food was absolutely scrumptious. The rustic furnishing created a relaxing ambiance. The service was below standard as they gave us no water to drink while we waited for the food, forgot to take note of my order, didnt repeat the orders made, and served the scotch bonnet pepper in the soup. Id go back for the food. Its a good restaurant for a date, chilling with friends, or dining with family.

I was immediately greeted with a warm smile and offered a table a nd something to drink. I was then introduced to my waitress for the evening and we were treated well while we stayed. The food was good. If you dont k ow what to get, when in doubt order wings and fries or a burger lol. The atmosphere is also an outdoor vibe so Che k the weather when planning to go. I went at night Nd say to the edge near the road so we could look down at cars passing .

its a good place to chill. the atmosphere is just awesome!!!! big up Olivia the young lady at the front she was really customer friendly. I gave it a 3 star because my waitress was not polite at all. but it was a good experience though.

Nice rustic environment to wait off the traffic and relax while you appease your appetite with delightful selections from the food and drink menu. The food menu includes seafood, chicken and pork. I especially enjoyed the jerk chicken breast, which was just right, dipped in their special jerk sauce. The service was good. I must commend the bartender on duty the night I went. I found him to be very accommodating. All in all, a very good experience.

The atmosphere wasnt bad. The food wasnt all that but the drinks were good. If I ever return its mainly because of the chilled vibe of the bartender Smirf. He made my little group feel comfortable and his conversations with us were very good. He seemed to actually care about the customers interest. Plus, its not often that you see an employee who listens to suggestions and constructive criticism as well as he does. After we left, my crew was just complementing how well he served us compared to the attitude of most of the other workers around. Good job Smirf!!!!!!

I had ordered jerk chicken, BBQ wings, and a non-virgin daiquiri. Everything was exceptional. It was my birthday at the time and they gave me a drink on the house. Was an amazing experience. And I love the ambiance of the location, and the barn style setting.

The space was lively with music. Loved the outdoor setting. The service and the food were both good.

Though we waited for a long while for the waitress to acknowledge us (maybe because we were being hidden by one of the trees), the food was worth the wait. Excellent and plentiful (not in an unattractive manner). Easily recommended.

Casual dining, good food, available parking. Safe environment and children welcome. Service has improved but sometimes have to wait for the bill to be brought or to order more drinks/food. Nice meeting spot.

The place itself is lovely and lively very nice outdoor setting with upbeat music of all genres playing at a volume where you can still hear what the person next to you is saying. The drinks are delicious and the good very tasty but small portions. The service was awful. We sat unattended for almost an hour after giving our drink and food orders. Had to call upon the server several times to remind him of our presence after we saw our drinks then our food waiting at the counter. Then imagine hes rude with us after we complain. Never again.

The place was great. The food was great. The service was okay.For me personally, it was a little hard to find, however I got good directions i was able to reach the destination.The food was great, love their wings and the potato wedge was good.The cocktails was amazing, they also serve hard liquor and bottled drink like Smirnoff ice. Do try their mud slide. 😋The menu has alot of things, which gives you variety.

Ive been here three times with my family and could only bear the wait to eat once. Each of the three times servers said they were understaffed. On the third visit..Easter Monday..the hostess all but told us it made no sense to stay and walked away before even seating us.They seemed poorly organised and I got the impression they had abandoned whatever serving system they had.The one time I ate the food and prices were great. The bartender who served me; Kirk, was the only pleasant experience.Come on Truck Stop, fix this man!! Cho!

The service was good. I was served within 15 minutes of being seated. The food was delicious. I had the chicken pasta and the jerk pork.

It is a great place with alot of vibes. Customer service is great and actually makes up for the wait time for food and drinks.

A little pricey for Jamaica but good quality food. Entrance and parking will not endear you to the location,but once inside it is actually very nice and relaxing. This is a kind of out door eatery with the usual Jamaican fair, fish roast, steam and fry and the usual pork and chicken there is also burgers and other stuff.

Had a great time...decided to hit a few bars and this place stood out. Waiter was attentive and the drinks were great. Had a seat overlooking the street.

A great place for a spur of the moment lime. I love their options of local side dishes with the jerk and they are reasonably priced. Setting and ambiance is very calm. I enjoyed the visits I had here.

A group of friends and I went there late one night after a show. After having some very good food, our night was spoiled by the horrible customer service we received (we picked it up initially but ignored it because we were so hungry). Just wished they had better customer service, would have done wonders.Their crayfish soup is good too.

A decent first experience. They food is mouth watering. The pepper sauce is mucho caliente.I dont have much complaints about the staff but the waiters could be a bit quicker. It took ten minutes to get 1 serving of jerk pork. They need to be more time conscious.

I decided to check out this place for dinner. I must tell you this. The biggest turn off is the staff. I had a waiter who was simply too obnoxious. I had to request a different server her name is Oprah she was really a nice and pleasant. On the positive side. Jerk chicken is great. Jerk pork is great. The price of food there is reasonable. Truck stop biggest problem is the staff. Ambience is good l, food is great and the price is good. I would fire everyone except Oprah.

Good day, a friend referred my childs father to you guys and he said he will try it out and took me there for mothers day. Upon arrival we looked around and the decor has a great outdoor, back yard feeling. I love it, however no one greeted us, we just looked around and find a suitable spot to sit. The menu was there so we took our time and go through it, 30 minutes still no one came to us. I saw a lady cleaning up the tables and I told her to get a waitress for us because we sitting around far too long without a greeting not even a drink of water. Believe me we were there for a pretty good hour before I got up and called someone to take our order I was very frustrated but I refused to leave because we were already there. Our drinks came first and then another 20 minutes after the food came. One of the order was wings with fries, there was no fries. I was not going to get up to get someone for the 3rd time so we never bother with that. I went to your place very hungry since I came there straight from work, but then all my appetite was lost. I got up again to get someone so we can have our bill and have to get up again to hand them our payment. This I find very annoying and frustrating, my boyfriend left me sitting there all this time just waiting around because he was too upset and did not want to cause a scene. The waitresses tend to be unprofessional and I dont think I will ever refer anyone to you guys. Good decor comes with good customer service and you guys lack in that.
