Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Ann Arbor

It took so long to receive my order, thats my only complaint.

Friendly staff and good food, very comparable to other tropical smoothie locations. I will say, I got a three cheese chicken quesadilla but they made it w/o the chicken… I didn’t even realize until I was halfway done, but that’s the reason for 3 stars. Other than that, good smoothie, clean restaurant, and nice employees.

Good smoothies. One size is huge. But sure needed it on a hot day at the Art Fair!

There was MOLD in my smoothie. I paid $19 for a cold wrap and a smoothie with MOLD in it. Quite literally sick to my stomach.

Push their inconvenience costs onto youI made an order by mistake at the wrong location, only way to cancel is by calling but none of them pick up the phone. When I finally got someone to pick up after 15-20 minutes of calling, they told me I would only get half my money back.If this happens to you, I put in a ticket at their corporate website as soon as the situation started happening and hopefully will have it resolved this way.

Good was good very busy place. Kale smoothie had to be remade there was no taste of ginger. Also, asked employee to fill Smmothie to the top of the glass. Good attitudes. Thanks

Horrible experience. Ordered a wrap and a smoothie, and the wrap had plastic in it!!!! The manager gave a refund, but was horribly inconsiderate of the situation and acted like I was making it up, especially considering the amount of disease transference. Never going here again.

Staff was very friendly, my daughter and wife loved the smoothies they made them. Location was great and the walk to and from the hospital wasnt bad at all.

Wonderful first time experience at this location. Talan was extremely helpful in helping me decide a new flavored smoothie, suggesting that the Dragon Fruit would be delicious. It absolutely was delicious.

I had a coupon for this place with no expiration date and took it in to redeem. I gave them the coupon and they came back from "checking" on it and told me that they couldnt redeem it for me. I wouldnt have any complaints except that from in front of the counter I saw that they didnt even try to check with their supervisor as they said they were doing, and it was clear they went in back to make it seem like they were doing something and then came back and told me it was out of their hands. Whats the point of sending out coupons if they cant be redeemed?

I eat tropical smoothie once a week. I love the franchise!!! This tropical smoothie though has a much slower service than normal.They really skimp you on the food as far as the wraps go. Not to happy. There’s another one 10 minutes away that is way better

They were really busy with lunch rush when we got there. They crew was super friendly and fast at getting us our order.

Literally my favorite place, I get a very exited order, and they nearly never fail my order, the staff is really nice, the smoothies are super tasty, but it is a bit pricey.

A nice place to get smoothies near the University of Michigan Campus. The staff is friendly and is willing to give you recommendations on what to buy if you are not sure about what to buy given your tastes and preferences. The staff was also patient with me when I needed some extra time to decide what to buy. The smoothies themselves are delicious.

I used uber eats to deliver my food and my quesadilla had hair throughout. I called to get a replacement since I am at work for 12hours and the manager said that they would send another but I felt like their was disbelief in his tone as if I was making it up. So for proof I am uploading pictures. I love tropical smoothie otherwise and this was the first time I have ever had anything wrong.

Really like the staff, and the smoothies. But the place but it is soooo cold inside and the noise is really grinding my mind... That I never stay inside and always just take away.

Amazing! The staff was nice and friendly. Went for the first time and the cashier was patient with helping me choose from the menu and showed me a way to tweak my sandwich with bacon to make it a little more special. And it was delicious.

Every single time Ive been here has been a delight! I order online and my order is always there and ready. Service is friendly and exceptional (the person who writes the name of the smoothies on the side of the cup has great handwriting!Also the price is incredible for how much you get! Im also a fan of their cesear salad bowl + sunrise/sunset smoothie combo.

I have always had great service here. Its also one of the best places in town (if not the bestto get an affordable, non-pretentious, healthy lunch. On the occasion there is an intense off-putting smell in that area that I cannot accurately describe. It seems they may have figured it out though, because the last time I was there it was gone.

Great smoothies, and a very good price on them. For anything else though, the price is much too high for what you get. Its definitely called tropical SMOOTHIE for a reason.

Not bad, got it right the first time. However log wait and I was the only one there. Fan of the Bahama mama with extra white chocolate and raspberries!

The BEST Smoothies Ive ever had. Very good selection of food as well. The Holidillas were great, I had 2 of the 3 choices today!!! Have to go back for the 3rd one very soon!!!

I really love Tropical Smoothie. The smoothies are no 12oz Starbucks sadness, no sir. You get a tall boy for your $5 to $6.50 and your trouble. Their selection is great, as is their customization. There are straight juice smoothies for the health conscious, and yogurty nutty chocolatey coffee-y smoothies for when you need to inhale calories through a straw. But really where Im continually delighted is their sandwich selection. Im obsessed with their sandwiches. The tastes are interesting, bright, not-too-heavy...basically perfect for a lunch that makes you feel happy about your decisions. The service is speedy, and I like eating in and taking out equally.

Average Tropical Smoothie. The smoothies are good. A nice atmosphere to meet up with someone and hang out.

I didnt have a smoothie. I did have a Thai chicken wrap. It was nothing special, but the ingredients seemed pretty fresh.

Pretty solid smoothie selection, and the food is pretty good as well. Problems are that food can sometimes take quite a while to come out, and buying food with a smoothie is a bit expensive for a quick bite for lunch.

The sandwich (cluband wrap (Baja chickenI had were really delicious. I greatly enjoyed the sunrise sunset smoothie! The menu items are a little bit pricey but over all they are one of the better choices for yummy and healthy foods. The staff is friendly and the Cafe is clean!

One of the only places to grab smoothies in the State St. area. They are huge and delicious, but I would recommend asking for half sugar, as they can be really too sweet at full sweetness. Great place to go in the summer.

Awesome food, great smoothies and PHENOMENAL service! My fav lunch spot in Ann Arbor. Try the Get up and Goji with extra peaches and an energizer for an afternoon pick me up.

Tropical smoothie on Liberty St. has the best sandwiches, wraps and smoothies. My favourite sandwich is the one they put in turkey, bacon and eggs, top with yummy sauce that is spiced just perfect. If you like a sandwich that is a little spicy and the most delicious just ask for Kevin or Colt to make it for you The price is reasonable, the service is quick and efficient. The staff are always happy and pleasant. Whether you live in Ann Arbor or just visiting, you must go in and enjoy their wraps, sandwiches, smoothies etc.

The management is incredibly personable! Kevin is the MAN. The prices and the quality of the smoothies are A+. My favorite is Jetty Punch! The food is also delicious!

This place has been booming ever since the new management has taken over. I end up finding myself here at least once a week! My favorite is the Sunshine smoothie!

My first time here. The smoothie was good. I got the Sunrise sunset or something like that. It was like an Orange Julius but not as sweet but probably healthier. It was a nice sized smoothie though.I had a jerk chicken wrap that was obviously not authentic but was still pretty tasty.Lots of people seemed to order the Baja chicken while I was there... So Ill probably try that next time.

The smoothies are really good, my faves are the Sunrise Sunset and Bahama Mama, and if you find it pricey there are always really good deals on Hooked. Plus they do Happy Hour smoothies. The flatbreads are alright, they really depend on who makes them

My friends smoothie was great, but all you could taste from mine was ice. Place is pricey but the staff is friendly. Hopefully my smoothie was the outlier because Ive heard that its great.

The smoothies are fantastic, as are the salads and sandwiches. The staff are bright, fun, and super helpful. I absolutely love this place.

Smartphone app gives $5 coupon, made it a great value! Service was slow, and I bit into a not so pleasant nut shell in my salad that was a little painful.

Recently traveled in from out-of-state to surprise a friend. I went to Tropical Smoothie Cafe while waiting in town for my friend over the course of the day. I went because I had one of their shakes the first time I visited and also because I knew they had WiFi. Unfortunately the locations credit card machines were down with an issue. Having no cash on me (from traveling and also relying on my cards to make purchasesthe friendly and generous staff offered me lunch without prospective of paying. The Caribbean Jerk Chicken Wrap was phenomenal and it came with a banana. I enjoyed the food, the staff, and the scene (bright and sunny). I would highly recommend visiting and trying both their food and their smoothies/shakes. Great rest. among Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Ive been to a lot of the fast food restaurants in the area, but this one is the best, by far. Im familiar with Tropical Smoothie from my home town, but there werent any in the Ann Arbor area. This place is newer, but the employees are really welcoming and no matter what Ive tried, its always been fresh and delicious. I love that they deliver to my job because it saves me time! They are always quick and its definitely WELL worth it. I recommend signing up for the text alerts because you get cool deals. Thanks for coming to Ann Arbor!
