Trinity College Pub in Vatican City

The worst place ever. The guy at the door so rude!!!he did not allow 7 of us mature guests to sit outside on the grounds that the place was about to close for the evening but it remained open for over an hour and he allowed the tables to fill up!!!.and was so arrogant when I asked for explanations saying he did not have to explain anything .. how terrible!!!

Nice atmosphere, good food and drink and nice staff.

Sooooo much fun last Saturday night for my birthday!!!! Would defo recommend the food too!!

Quaint place. Good service. Fries are really quite good.I know its hard to suggest you hit a pub while in Rome but if you are going to take a break from Italian cuisine, this is a good place to stop.

I truly like this particular pub situated in the heart of The Eternal City. Beautiful atmosphere ( sometimes it gets a bit crowded and noisy), I love going there for lunch or for an aperitivo. The staff is very friendly, the food is simple but very nice and the beers superb!

Nice pub to hide out and grab a pint with some comfort food. Guiness on draft is always a good thing

Truly the best little place to go!! I asked the bar staff for a specific drink and they made it perfectly, the best cocktail I’ve had to date! Atmosphere, great. Staff, lovely. The food was amazing, especially the Japanese noodles, incredible :)

Recently visited. Irish bar, Guinness was good, very slight tangy taste to it (8/10)Lovely staff. Lovely regulars.Nice pub, traditional feel to it, good atmosphere and music. Seating also available outside.Didnt eat there, but the meals that were seen coming out for other customers looked very nice.Really nice, very strong cocktails (about 8 wuros each)- highly recommended if you are in the area

Great bar and really the only real bar within Rome, great beer drinks. The food is also good and the price is decent I would highly recommend it.

Great cocktails, good service and good prices. We didnt have habe any food or pints though. Actually serevrs Harp too for the diehards 😂

Decent burgers and salads (all gluten free too which is great for us )and great service too. Highly recommended for a quick bite or beer in the centre of Rome.Update: theyve since ditched their GF menu. Peccato.

Drinks are priced as expected for the area, around 6-7 euro for a beer. Good atmosphere and large outdoor seating. Didnt get food so cant comment on this.

A proper Irish bar in the heart of Rome just a stones throw from the Alter of the fatherland monument. Cheap drinks and lovely friendly staff.

We popped in for some relief from the heat and this bar didnt disappoint.True Irish styled pub, our bartender even has some Celtic tattoos lol.Traditional Irish beers and similar available.The standout was not Irish but delightful for a hot summer day. They made mojitos. Ahh just smelling the fresh crushed mint as they were made was a treat.Definitely worth stopping by to cool off or stay awhile. There was a good crowd of folks laughing and overall good time was being had by all.

Very nice pub. My girlfriend was searching 1 hour for the toilet. But wen she came back she was so happy. I dont know whats going on there. Nice place 😍🫶 we love it here

Great customer service, not only did we get served quickly at the table, the staff wee really friendly and helpful with arranging a taxi for us. Drink is great too. I visited this pub 4 years ago and glad I popped back in again today. Thanks guys youre awesome 😁

Great bar. Had kareoke on a Thursday. They keep serving tequila shots to a group on charcuterie type board with limes. Don’t know if a shotcuterie is a real thing, but if not, this place should pioneer it.

We sat outside under the covered area. Service was a bit slow to get our Guinness reordered, but the beer was the correct temperature and the waitress was helpful and spoke English.

Sometimes in italy a break from pizza and pasta is nice. This pub fits the bill. Very nice fish and chips, cider and beer. Did not feel as touristy as other places. Friendly servers make for a comfortable experience. Brisket was ok but dont expect texas style smoked brisket, chicken sandwich was well seasoned. Highlight was fish and chips.

Far too crowded sporadicly served by a passive agressive barman who clearly didnt want to be there come on it was the day of the Ireland England rugby match it is an irish pub they need to change their attitude wild horses wouldnt get me back there

Would have added a star if they didnt charge me for a normal beer, which I was after, when they gave me a small one.Good pub atmosphere with some dangerous but fun stairs, but unfortunately very average food. Would recommend it for some drinks, but do yourself a favour and do not order their slow cooked meats.

The place is nice to go for a beer and to enjoy some other drinks. There is also a DJ sometimes and the music is cool. Unfortunately we felt that isnt easy sometimes to order drinks, because you need to wait a long time. Someone to come to your table, after to bring you the menu, and after you made your order you need to be really patient. They should organise this place a bit better.

Bad experience. We ordered Kilkenny beer and it was of a poor quality. Tasted like of it was diluted with water. Also ordered Jumbo hot dog and a Brisket. It was the most tasteless meat I have ever tried. They just poured a ton of sauce all over the meat and added some onions and cabbage (which were also not good). Total disappointment for 13 euros. And in total for 2 bad dishes, 2 watery beers and one appetizer we spent nearly 45 euros. Better find some other place because it’s not cheap and not good.

We came across this irish bar and we loved the atmosphere. Really felt like irish bar..gianluca and his partner are great barmen and my do they make drinks fast.they had the smallest guinesss glass and he kindly gave me 2 which are now apart of our home bar...we visited the bar twice but wish we had visited it to have dinner too. It was only when we left did we realise they had food menu..if we go back well definitely be back..you have to visit this bar if your in rome..definitely worth a visit..

This was a great place.Not to strict on the Irish theme, so they would play all the music the guest requested. The drinks are good, and fairly cheap. I can recommend the Long Island iced tea. Not to strong.Unfortunately I was having too much of a good time here, that I forgot to take pictures.Actually the WC’s are an experience of its own. Nice interior. Speakers with music outside, and lovely staff. AND they were open longer than most in Rome. (3AM)💪👏❤️

Authentic vibes, Irish feels. Enjoyed our visit to this quaint little place near the central square in Rome. Burgers were just fine, beers, too good. Don’t really enjoy the cocktails much. Serving waitresses were friendly and the service was prompt.

Good place to have a proper pint in Central Rome. Somewhat halfway between the Foro Romano and the Fontana de Trevi. Walking distance to both, so it’s a good place to have a bit of rest between all the touristing. Good local beers and the traditional ones you’d expect from a pub. Good food options as well. Had a fun time watching the F1 race, the local support for Ferrari was passionate, all in good fun.

Cozy and rustic Irish pub recommended by a friend who lived in the area. Even though we did meet sone tourists from Germany, it wasnt touristy. Small but decent selection of local and international beers.

Great atmosphere. Its certainly not cheap and out drinks orders where wrong a few times but the bar staff promptly made us a new drink. Enjoyable evening and a lot of fun!

Gets 4stars because theres no wheelchair access and we were cold outside (they ran out of gas for the heaters). Food was good though. No clue about inside as couldnt get in.

Tasty, Expensive, Bartenders maintain their regular visitors better than new ones
