Nice service, nice, uncomplicated food.The girl working there was an absolute delight.I enjoyed my moussaka very much, and the calamari were crunchy and fresh.Good value for money :)

Ordered stuffed peppers as a starter (filled with fetahighly recommended, as main course fried sardines and fried squid. Food is top quality! The service was also nice and friendly. If you’re looking for a good fish restaurant in Heraklion? Highly recommended!

Good small taverna.Yellow split peas was a favourite.

2 stars cause it’s a really atmospheric place and the service was nice. I ordered spaghetti Napoletana which is a simple dish and it had no taste at all. Also charged extra for bread they gave us. Other dish (meatballswas okay.

Very tipical place to eat greek food.Very good !!!

We vistited this Restaurant for a dinner.We were the only people at this Restaurant in the evening.We ordered diffrent Kind of foods: Sardins, stuffed wineleaves, beans and a greek salad.The salad was really good and also the amound of drinks which we ordered.But we had to wait really long for the fish and beans.In General we waited a lot of time in this smal family taverna.The waiter was friendly.The wineleaves tasted like they where heated 2 Times, the Fisch was Not that special which justifies the long wait. Also they served us bread (2 slieces where that Kind of Hard- you could built a shelft).Maybe we didn t ordered the right Things or just had a bad day - but the food was average food.I had better expirence at other places.

Locale tipico molto carino. Il gestore è molto cordiale. Ho trovato dell’ottimo cibo e una buona frittura di gamberi. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato!

Fresh and tasty sea food. We can highly recommend mix fish - it was more than enough for us both for good price. I suggest to order some starters because of a long waiting time.

Колоритне місце, для тих хто хоче дізнатись більше про національну кухню Греції. Нас обслуговував чудовий привітний чоловік, який просто кайфував від своєї справи. Їжа ну дууже смачна, тут просто немає слів, сюди однозначно варто прийти.

Questa taverna offre piatti ottimi a buon prezzo, il titolare è stato molto accogliente. Buonissimi lo tzatziki e i gamberoni!

Nachdem wir die guten Bewertungen gelesen haben wollten wir auch hier essen. Und wir waren glücklich über die Wahl.Ein süßes, kleines, authentisches, griechisches Restaurant etwas abseits vom Trubel.Der Ladenbesitzer ist ein unglaublich freundlicher und sympathischer Mann. :)Unser Essen kam schnell und trotzdem war es noch sehr frisch und heiß. Alles was wir bestellt hatten war super lecker, die Portionen groß und der Preis wirklich unschlagbar! Besonders empfehlen kann ich die gefüllten Weinblätter und die Calamaris.Sollten wir nochmal auf Kreta sein werden wir sicherlich nochmal dort essen!Alles in allem wirklich perfekt!

Good food and good price

Πολύ γρήγορο σέρβις, όλα ήταν πεντανόστιμα, θα ξεχωρίσω τις τηγανητές πατάτες και τα ντολμαδάκια. Έχει πιάτα για να φας καλά και πιο οικονομικά, έχει θαλασσινά και κρέατα αν θες το κάτι παραπάνω. Σίγουρα θα το ξανά προτιμήσουμε

Μικρό ταβερνάκι, ευγενική εξυπηρέτηση, όλα καλά εκτός από το χταπόδι σχάρας. Βρασμένο, τουλάχιστον αυτό μας είπαν, κρύο, παράξενη γεύση.

Great food, friendly staff

The appetizers (fried zucchini, tzatziki, frieswere nice. The fried squid occupied half of the plate, the other half again fries (??). The grilled octopus was horrible!! Like a chewing gum, and full of vinegar (?due to the lettuce they out below. Disappointed.

Всем рекомендую этот ресторанчик. Находится в не туристическом месте. Очень приятная обстановка. Всё по простому. Очень, очень вкусно. Такой как здесь я мусаки не ел ни где. Порции большие. Очень радушный приём. Рядом, за углом паркинг. 4,5 евро за день. До порта 7 мин пешком.

This place is fantastic, wandered down from the tourist area because it was too busy. My "waiter" was one of the best Ive encountered in Greece if not Europe, very nice guy, quotes cause he feels more like a friend bringing me food. Seems family run, he mentioned his mom had made the stuffed grape leaves which where small and tightly wrapped and the best Ive ever had. This is the kind of local dining experience that occasionally you just get lucky and happen into. Ill probably return tomorrow.

The best was wine and bread, served with absolutely nothing. Mousaka was leaving no doubt that it was re-heated half dozen times, leaving blunt and oily taste. Our table was the only one taken, but waiter needed to be encouraged to either collect empty plates or provide us the receipt, instead of staring at us. Poor service, mediocre food. Worth only for the wine.

This was the first place I ate in Crete 20yrs ago. We eat there at least once everyone we go to Crete. Really lovely, family run Cretan Taverna. Service, food, ambience all superb. Have missed hoping since covid started.

Amazing place, rustic design, family run! Greatest service in Heraklion, and most probably in whole Crete, came back here as they were so nice the first time! The food is very tasty and very cheap comparing to other locations around Crete!

If you wonder where to go to eat where the locals are eating, search no more: this is the place that youre looking for. Do not expect any fancy table clothes or glass but the food is genuinely good. I ate that big fried fish plate and it was really good and cheap (15 euro).

Fair prices and tasty food.

Stray a little off the touristic street and you can find this local taverna diner. There was only one group of elderly locals having dinner when we went in and out had a hunch that it was going to be a gem. And wow... We were in Heraklion for 3 days and we went back 3 times. Fresh seafood deliciously cooked, entertaining owner Spiros, and the complementary raki to finish with. Local prices, genuine food.
