Trésors de la mer - Seafood restaurant in Taipei, Taiwan
Trésors de la mer in Taipei
Description
Privilege
Dine here tonight, there are rude guests next to me who ruined my mood, they are arguing with the server, why isnt free water provided? A supervisor comes out and patiently explains their policy, but it seems to go to a worse situation. He requests the supervisor to show the company policy on paper. During the meal, I kept hearing him talk about Taiwans restaurants in worst service. In my opinion, every country has its own culture, every restaurant has its policy. He should enjoy the meal, not focus on a dollars water.🤭🤭
MoreTasty
Terrible place with excessive amount of mosquito everywhere throughout + unprofessional and impolite servants, very limited options of choices and even more limited on the ways they can be cooked....soggy and unsalted veg....miso soup was unbelievably tasteless.....worst dining experience of the year....
MoreWas there for a Monday lunch so there weren’t many people. This made a much better eating environment.Food is ok.
Moreused to be decent. but went recently to discover the quality of seafood had gone way down. one of our family members even got food poisoning. stay clear of this place!
MoreIf you want fish fresher than the one they have in this place you better take a boat and join some fishermen. Otherwise here the quality is great. You cant go better in Taipei in terms of freshness. Also the environment is unique. It looks like a normal place but try it...abandon yourself and you will have a high class dining experience. Great service!
MoreOne of best place for seafood in Taipei
Amazing is not even enough to describe this experience. Everything is beyond my expectations and more! A must visit in Taipei!!!
MoreHighly recommended. Seafood was freash, steak was juicy and delicious. They only take CASH, no plastic!
MoreBeen here twice and getting a hang of what to order. Theme sea food here are amazingly fresh and cooked without frills. Very reliable and has a very romantic table.
MoreFood tastes good, but friend felt Ill after the meal. Doesnt take credit card and no parking 😡
MoreFood is ok, but great ambient and service, its a good value for the price, and great for big parties
MoreGreat place to eat seafood in Taipei. Though it is quite pricey, they have a variety of fresh seafood for your likings. It is also located near a fish market which is great if you want to bring back fresh seafood on the occasion.
MoreSeafood was fresh and everythingBut...cash only!? You gotta be kidding meWho carries over 10K in cash?Had to go out to get cash from ATM...
MoreFor less than NTD 2000 for 2, the amount of fresh seafood for selection is huge. The soup that is cooked out of the seafood is rich in flavour and delicious. The seafood is freshly caught and cooked on the spot.
MoreOk price for what you get. This is one of the two sitting down restaurants in this complex, the other one only do hotpot. The other 3 restaurants are all standing up. Okay service, not the most attentive also not the worst. Pretty quiet during the work week and can get busy during the weekend. The prices are what you see downstairs when picking your food plus a standard 10% services fee you will have to pay anywhere you go in Taiwan apart from night market or street food.
MoreNice foods & a bit high pricing
I would want to give it a “0”, it was our first time there and the service was unbelievably bad. As soon as we walked into the door, the staff didn’t even bother to tell us there is no menu and we need to order at the entrance. The staff brought us to third floor without introducing what they have, we had to ask on our own and googled the menu on our own!!!!! How ridiculous!!!!!! We asked the staff what kind of food that’s served in the hotpot, the first staff who served us couldn’t even answer the questions!!!! How professional???????Crabs in the hotpot weren’t even that fresh and the best food that we had was the free fruit!!!!Lastly, they don’t freaking accept CREDIT CARD!!!!! Their food is ultra pricey!!!! Worst experience ever!!!!!! Not worth to try!!!!!
MoreFor the type of food served and price charged, service so WEAK!!Nearly 20 minutes to get beer served after placing the order is WEAK!🙄Having to ask for hand towels eating crab, is WEAK!Having to ask for utencils needed to dine is WEAK!It really could be better.
MoreVery good restaurant. Can enjoy seafood with low prices.
1. Very bad customer service. We had a reservation at 6pm (which is very early while the restaurant is at least half empty). Originally they took us to 3rd floor. Because it was inconvenient for elderly and kids to climb all the way up thru stairs we requested to be seated on 2nd floor. Then the nightmare started. It was super HOT and STUFFY. They refused to take us anywhere else and repeated telling us the restaurant was FULL and the waiter even paged the manger to come and say No to us. He was whispering on pager and referring us as difficult customers to his manager. Finally the manager came and restated the same thing but agreed to turn on the AC higher. But I’m not sure if there was something wrong with the AC, we were all sweating the whole dinner.2. Very poor/little seafood selectionWhen we go downstairs to order our dinner, we ask for uni, they told us it was sold out (again it was only 6pm and the restaurant was at least half emptyWe ask for mud crab, no surprise, they still don’t have it. The fish and crab they had on display seemed old and not that fresh, but we had no choice but ordered whatever the waiter recommended. Whats worse is that they don’t even have an acceptable beverage selection besides alcohol. The food we ordered was just average. But with bad customer service and poor seafood selection, it didn’t worth the money. I will definitely avoid this place at all cause.
Moreclean and good taste.
This restaurant is located in the fish market. Foods are very fresh. We enjoyed seafood and sake very much. Price is surprisingly reasonable.
MoreGreat place to enjoy high quality sea food. If you are craving for steak, they also serve steak as well.
MoreEverything was incredibly fresh and delicious! Service was great! You can choose any seafood that you want and ask them to cook it any way you like. We got a lot of grilled and steamed stuff and ask them not to put garlic. Refreshing since many seafood places in Taiwan do a hard fry with too much garlic in my opinion. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. Especially the sashimi platter which has fatty tuna, scallops, abalone, and much more... The whole platter for 4 people is around 1200 nt!Although I usually go to the fish market downstairs, this place is definetly worth checking out if youre looking for a fancier setting for a special occasion.
Moremost favorite Japanese food in Taipei, comfortable place for lunch or dinner, many foreigners visit, great place to bring friends there, food is fresh and lot of choices, If you like Japanese food, it is a must eat place to come. the price here is not very expensive, sashimi is delicious, though here isn’t very convenient to come, may take taxi or bus to come, love the food a lot and place, there is a fish market downstairs, you can buy lot of sea food there , also can eat there
MoreA bit pricey but the king crab was so much worth it! And the other crab too
Fresh seafood, a Japanese style restaurant serving in Taiwanese way! Awesome...
Very nice place. You come you choose the seafood directly presented in front of you and decided how you wanted they be cooked. Large choice of seafood very fresh and tasty.
MoreGood quality and fresh seafood but the services needed to be improved
The largest part of the restaurant with sit down space. Ideal for business meals. Seafood can be picked up from downstairs, to be served upstairs. Whether hotpot or sashimi, theyve got you covered. Once seated, you only need to pick your drinks. If youre unsure, just get the seafood set or sashimi set, and youre good to go!
MoreWe went there as group of 6. The food is fresh. One thing we dont like is the restaurant provided us a "sample menu" and later on provide different dishes. We understand seafood availability can affect the dishes but at least notify us ahead will definitely help. You must order drinks because nothing is provided. No tea or water.
MoreTaiwanese seafood Restaurant with luxurious atmosphere. It is in Taipei Fish Market. The food is very excellent.
MoreGood quality sea food but a bit expensive...book your table in advance during weekends.
MoreUpstairs overpriced. They only accept cash. No credit cards. I would stay downstairs sit on a bench or wait for table in the standing room only restaurant. How to order. Use the table number and select the food by the tanks. Then they will prepare and bring it up to you
MoreThis is the first that I came here. The seafood was delicious, and the whole ambience of restaurant was beautiful.I would recommend that you should come here for the sea food if you haven’t tried it yet.Comparing the price with other high class restaurants in Taipei, the price of seafood is worth it.
MoreThe seafood here is undeniably good, but the service gets worse with each repeat visit. The front staff was nonchalant about getting our reservation wrong, and the person taking our order was entirely uninterested and unhelpful with helping us with our order. The waiting staff was unprofessional and we had to repeat our requests several times, and it dampened the overall dining experience. Our party enjoyed the food, but will be hesitant of future visits, which is regrettable since we had good experiences here in the past.
MoreTasty and the setting is very nice. However the way to choose the fish (you choose from the stands outside, before you enter the restaurantfelt rushed. Service was not amazing and it was pricey. If the air is nice but too hot I recommend the open air restaurant in the ground floor instead; probably same quality but even nicer setting and cheaper.
MoreSo good, so tasty. You can make reservation in advance, or you will wait at least 1hour to get a table. Sashimi is really fresh, and for the hotpot, it is delicious. Must come when you are in Taipei.
MoreGreat seafood selection. Live and very fresh. They serve sashimi as well as cooked seafood. Do order the sashimi as this is one of the rare restaurant that serves fresh real wasabi root that you will grate yourself as you need, to maintain ultimate freshness. The name of the restaurant is French, the location is Taiwanese, but it serves very good Japanese styled sashimi and seafood, along with good beef accompaniments.
MoreFresh selections of sea food for decent price. We ordered sea food hotpot. It came with many different kinds of crab and clam. You can also pick other live seafood from the tank in the first floor, and they will prepare for you in the way of your choice. Good food, helpful stuff.
MoreBest value for money..., must try if you are in taipei
Crab lover must go--- Fresh seafood , good environment & service!
Nice and fresh sea food.. but cash only
You have got what you paid. The food is pretty pricey, but considering the quality of the seafood. Its okay to dine here. Service may not be very proper during rush hour. Fresh seafood and tiger prawn is something must have.
MoreOne of my favourite seafood restaurant. Pick the fish you want at the entrance and just enjoy.Service is great, usually packed so do book in advance. The wasabi is absolutely divine.
MoreAwesome fresh seafood hotspot here. All u can choose alive. Fantastic.
Everything is really good. The ambiance, the service, but mostly the food (Wow!!!!). You have to really watch yourself or you can easily over eat. Definitely a place to come back to. You should also spend time exploring the Japanese food market and the fabulous fish market. Dont forget to also check out the eateries too. So go and enjoy yourself.
MoreGuys, bring your cash here. Credit cards not allowed.
Good service, usually have more spots them the BBQ down below. Seafood is fresh price is a bit higher comparing to the other types of restaurants.
