Plenty of parking and entry is easy and can be accessed from two different entries. Doggies heaven with lots of room to run. And a playground for the children

The playground is an amazing place for whanau especially developing preschoolers. Well designed for challenging their mental and physical skills. A great social atmosphere for parents in the community too.

We love the bush walk and go regularly. Amazing trees, so huge. You can imagine what it was like a couple of hundred years ago

Upgrades are currently occurring at Trentham Memorial Park.The new BBQ and seating area look amazing and there is very little disturbance to the park as the work is being carried out.Still well worth a visit, particularly with such beautiful autumn colour to stroll through.

Great field for soccer games we attended for the first time and was surprised at the amount of parking spaces there were but had to get in quick as they filled up fast.

A lovely park and area for walking, cycling or walking the dog. Plenty of parking and easy access to the Hutt River Trail. Theres even an Axemens club!

If you want to give your dog a run around, especially off leash its a great location.

Excellent park for the family and lots of sporting ventures played here because of huge sports area. The new kids park is fabulous

We love Trentham Park. It has play area for multiple ages and foam mat for running around instead of wood chips. Excellent ball fields and picnic tables and a lovely bush walk behind the big playground. Highly recommend this park for all ages. Plus bathrooms are generally very tidy.

Very spacious park that is very well maintained. There are playground, toilets, tracks, etc. in the area, too.

Great park, well maintained and scenic. Lots of people walking dogs, and the youth development unit running their cross country.

Been quite a few years since I last went there. Definitely appreciate the remodel! And totally love how they kept a few remnants of the old playground (I.e. noughts and crosses, and the old wooden tunnel)! Keen to go back and play with the water playground. 😁

Playground is a step up from what you normally see arround. Just got to find a way to get the kids back in the car peacefully

Combination of childrens playground,soccer and cricket areas,plus walking tracks through original remaining forests with native nz birds including wood pigeons.

Lovely place, nice bush walks and plenty of parking, just concerned about a few careless dog walkers not picking up, an ideal area for sporting events and Is a great asset for Upper Hutt, well worth a visit.

Nice park i go regularly, only problems ive had is where the swings are situated, right by the playground and kids always running infront of them, can be dangerous. The new water feature constantly gets blocked and floods, making it a dirty mess at times, even floods into the carpark on a bad day.

This is a pretty cool playground! There is so much to explore, with multiple slides and a wealth of climbing obstacles. Theres a more junior playground under a shade sail too, with an easily accessible small slide.There is a wonderful water play area too. Capture or let the water run free as it rushes down the sloping troughs sparkling with little stones.There is good seating and established trees provide shady spots for a picnic. Theres a walking loop that takes around 40 min to complete and is very buggy friendly.One bucket and one half bucket swing for babies. Take a picnic and spend the afternoon!

Love the clean open space, great walk with Xena my neighbours dog.

One of the best playgrounds around. My boys love it here, plus theres the added bonus of the bush walks all around the park, and the river close by.

We visited Trentham Memorial after a long time. Loved the upgrade on childrens park. The bush was amazing. We ended up at the river bank, splashed in the water and walked back. It was excellent activity for kids and so rewarding!

Trentham Memorial Park, such a great place to go with the kids, the dog, the whole family. Large open spaces to run & play. Bring a ball or even a picnic rug for a great place for lunch. Or you can bring your bike & ride through the trees & then down to the river. Must do for Upper Hutt.

Lush grass..huge ground....a nice play area for kids....beautiful trees...n occasional cricket matches....can be a perfect weekend for whole family ...

A great stretch of week looked after vast green grass. Pretty great place to run around through beech forest trails as well as asphalt paths. The playground is brilliant now that it has shade over it. Well done Upper Hutt City Council! Great place to kick back under the trees and watch a game of cricket.

Cool park, playground and Bush walk all in one place! Great playground for kids of all ages, and the Bartons Bush is a cool walk that even the kiddies can do. Took about 20mins to walk around the Bush and the 5yearold loved it. The path is wide and flat enough to easily push a buggy around too. Heaps of carparking. Great park and great times.

Great park for a leisurely family stroll while kids ride ahead on their bikes, but lookout for the many doggy poos, especially on the bush trails.

Carnival, it was amazing experience. Its awesome festival for children cos there is many play stalls. There is an Entry fees which is worth. There is a huge parking space which is free.

Trentham Park is a beautiful, safe place to walk with your dog, picnic, exercise or cycle. It offers sunny fields to play on or shaded forests to walk through. Close to the Hutt Valley River with great views. Toilet facilities and dustbins are available and so is adequate shady parking.
