Treetops Lodge in Nyeri

Built around an ancient tree, in a wood building on stilts, this old-world lodge in Aberdare National Park overlooks a watering hole. It’s 16 km from a museum dedicated to Boy Scouts Association founder Lord Baden-Powell, and 17 km from Nyeri town centre.Down-to-earth rooms feature wood accents, and some have tree branches growing through them. Suites add sitting areas and watering hole views.Amenities include a formal restaurant, a casual outdoor bar, and a cosy lounge bar with a library. There are game-viewing decks, 1 of which is rooftop, and game drives are available. Kids age 5 and over are welcome.
