Treehouse Bar in Canberra

Good-Good location which is in civic.-Friendly staff.Bad-Low quality of food.-Bit pricey.-Tap beer was not available which is ok. But Bottle beers were not cold enough.-Made a reservation via email but nothing happened.

Great music until later at night when the DJ thinks that everyone is drunk, so they usually start repeating songs, but still better than most other places. The place is usually over crowded, but it doesnt take too long to get drinks.

Attwnded a corporate event here and it was great. Service, food and bar was good. Just a bit tricky to hold a conversation in a full room.

Fantastic little venue. Something like youd find in hipster streets of Sydney. Cocktails great and staff were amazing. Definitely a venue Id go to when back in Canberra

The service and especially the food unappealing, the same goes for their ambient music.

A small upmarket bar with a nice and modern layout. Prices are on the higher end and does get crowded quickly when groups of people turn up. Service has been good every time I have visited.

A 9% surcharge on card payments is a bit much. Nice bar and good food otherwise.

This venue is very vibrant and has amazing food that you can eat in an extraordinary setting whilst you enjoy a cocktail.

Is a place for select people! Maybe if you go to other place will be better! And they don’t even have anything (beer and food)good. 😕

Had a great salsa night on Friday.Water was provided after certain time, 10pm I guess?I wish the water can be provided throughtout the night.Dancers need hydration!! 😉

A lovely function venue, with comfortable seating upstairs and a nice view of downstairs. Catering platters were among the tastier ones Ive tried! Passionfruit spritz cocktail is quite potent.

Great bartenders, super friendly and very knowledgeable.

Very noisy, very overheated. Pizza was ok. Staff were lovely.

We booked these premises for a function and committed an amount for the bar tab. They decided to take the tap beers offline that same day. Other options werent great.

I like this place so much more when its not a nightclub. Did a group painting session here and it was fantastic- great space - good staff and fantastic cocktails

Treehouse is a fun, exciting bar located in Canberras city centre. It is small and cosy but lovely. The inside is decorated with fairy lights on trees and staff serve wonderful cocktails and drinks. Try the blue waterfall, one of my favourites. Drink prices are similar to most places in Canberra so dont expect a cheap drink. Nice place to have a dance later in the evening and listen to modern music.

Cocktails jugs were tasty, however mainly ice cubes and fruit, not so much drink. If you try to pour 4 drinks for your group from one jug, make sure you put >50% ice in each cup or you only get 3 drinks. I understand rent is expensive, and all those staff pay (about as many staff as customers in there), but not the best value for money here. Nice enough establishment... except for the toilets, needed service badly (and that was at the start of the night). Food is good for a place like this, average prices. Staff member accidentally dropped our food, was eventually replaced around an hour later. Nice sitting area upstairs with booths for groups of 2-6. Good ambience. So i dont know, its a 50/50, I guess id come back, its no better or worse than your average place in civic. Still had a good night here.

Delightful bar for a long or short stay. Excellent range of gins. Staff are friendly and helpful. DJ and dancefloor. Sit downstairs or up.

Cosy place. Service getts a bit slow when busy with only a couple of bar staff making cocktails. Great cocktails though.

There is a semblance of tree but not much house... Not even house music. Drinks are alright and staff are friendly.

The food wan not good. After complaining the server actually laughed and walked away, muttering "men" under her breath. If I could give minus stars I would do so. Avoid this place.

Spent 3 years sitting in the window here on Friday afternoons watching the world go by and enjoying $5 happy hour. Always found the staff wonderfully friendly - felt like a local pub. Recent remodeling has removed the bench at the window, so I guess its a good thing Ive moved away.

The food was nice, but the employees were extremely rude and unhygienic. They didnt give us the right order, and completely forgot about one of our burger orders. We asked the employee what type of burger we were being served, and he used his bare fingers and picked up the bun to check the contents in the burger. He did this twice. He then proceeded to squish the side of the burger bun. Using his bare fingers. One of our friends had to hit his fingers lightly with a skewer to make him stop touching the burger. He then said , "my fingers are clean!" You dont touch the customers burger with your BARE HANDS ! This is unacceptable, that was really unhygienic.

Cannot condone an establishment with different rules for males and females. Their reaction to feedback is arrogant and dismissive even though what theyre doing is sexist.

My partner and I stopped in at 6pm to get a cocktail before dinner. Very few people in downstairs area at the time and the first bar tender was friendly so we ordered drinks. The second bar tender made my margarita. I realised after he made it that it didnt have a salt rim so I said, "I hate to be a pain but can I get a salt rimmed glass to tip this into" he did it for me but gave me no response. I took the drink and said "thank you so much" and again no response, no eye contact, no smile, nothing. This is my first time to Canberra and the very first place we visited. I am just a bit disappointed as I was happy and felt slighted afterwards.So many flavours...and he chose to be salty! ;)

Great bar staff and music. Really good crowd. Never seen a fight or problem here and had some really good nights here :)

Beautiful venue, really great vibe. Seems like it would be very functional as a place to party (cant say too much as I was only there for a few hours)

Small Bar with good music tucked in the main drag.

The upstairs bar area is quite nice, not too loud, and has reasonably priced drinks.

Upstairs is brilliant. I do enjoy coming here for the drinks and bar entertainment. Espresso cocktails are a crowd pleaser. Dance floor area can be missed.

Big surprise out of nowhere. The $9 lunches are actually really good!

2 for 1 burgers on a Thursday night. They were delicious. The upstairs bar area has a nice atmosphere and is cosy.
