Trdlo in Prague
Description

Just great. Price is +6€
Who doesn’t like a yummy cinnamon dough goodie housing yummy fillings. These are always a must when visiting Czech. The reason for the 4 star is one of ours had only ice cream on the top and not all the way through like the others…of course we were already away before we noticed and could not go back. The staff do not speak much English but google translate helped them answer our questions.
MoreNice place, a bit touristy but the chimney cakes were really good. I took the frozen queen with vanilla ice cream, strawberries and chocolate sauce!
MoreNice service, good chimney cakes, very tadty fillings. Would say a bit overpriced for what it was but if you like sweet stuff definitely a must.
MoreI asked extra topping because my cousin wanted and i said i will pay whatever it is. But just didn’t do it. Service 👎
MoreThis Trdelnik is one of the best in Prague they give you a lot of ice cream , chocolate and strawberry and the taste is very good I recommend you this place in Prague
MoreA good experience of traditional food.
Delicious
Delicious Trdelnik .. Always crowded with very fast service ..Choose your favorite filling and enjoy !!
MoreSuper yummy trdelnik in Prague! The staff was very friendly :)Cant wait to go back ^^
MoreA very sweet and delicious snack near the wenzelsplace. We tried the one with apples and strawberries and both were very really good and filling. If you are in prague you have to try these things at least one time!
MoreThis chain has the best recipe.
Very good service 😊 at nightTime 1:41Ice cream 🍦 tasty 😋
Czech cuisine for every taste, in the style of bistro, Ukrainian «пузата хата» or regular canteen . At the entrance you get a sheet in which along the way note 📝 the selected dishes, payment at the exit.Do not expect too much friendliness from the staff, it is not a restaurant. However, lunch will be very cheap!
Moregrumpy service but tasty dessert!
They were so rude that at the end I haven’t even tried it
Friendly service, we happened to have undercooked dough though and average ice cream filling. Though if you need to try trdlo/trdelnik - this is an ok place for it)Can pay card
MoreExcellent traditional dessert. I got the plain ice cream and I couldnt finish it all. It was worth the long lines wait
MoreThe dough was good, but it was cold and hard. A few meters away there was a station were it was fresh and hot.
MoreThe cream is so good. So many strawberries inside with some chocolate sauce.Great!
MoreIt was very very tasty and service was excellent 👌
Very good !
The quality of the product is really good, I would give it 5 stars but the person who was there made it awful. She was really mean to us and talked with really bad manners, shouting things in czech that we obviously couldnt understand. No one should be treated like that.
MoreIt was warm and delicious 😍😍
Dough wasnt completely done inside the Trdelnik and almost raw. I had to throw 2/3 of it away, unfortunately I was already 2 stations away when I noticed. Also it was pretty small.
MoreVery impolite and racist woman. I asked her "English or Russian", she said that hates everyone who speaks Russian. Im not from Russia (I was at Ukraine support action this day too), and she never said sorry. Also, trdlo was worse than in other places I tried. This was at 20:20, 24.02.2022.
MoreThe woman working here was so rude I almost left with nothing. Instead I bought my partner ice cream and didn’t bother with one for myself. It was difficult enough trying to order one from her, heaven forbid I make her do the work of putting together a second one.
MoreDelicious trdelník right next to Wenceslas Square. So good and worth the tram ride!!
MoreIm not necessarily a fan of the czech Trdelník, because its not their tradition, but this branch right here is a place, where I can come back to. Im satisfied with the staff working here and with the product. It tastes nice.
MoreRude staff! I showed up late in the night and asked the lady if it was fresh and she replied so arrogantly
MoreVery good food, BUT the shop assistants are the most unfriendly you will ever see while travelling Prague and one of them has also scammed me 20 CZK of my change (left one at the picture)!!!
MoreA typical Prague sweet made of dough cooked over a fire that is sweetened with a slight cinnamon flavor and internally coated with chocolate or nutella.Super cheap and recommended to eat on the go, the place is very fast to dispatch orders
MoreFair Trdelnik if the place is busy, not the tastier but on the upper range for that area. However, if you go when there is not many people, they will give you one baked a few hours ago and then I would say it is bad.
MoreAmazing, you can get a Trdlo whenever you want and the choices are classic but all definetly delicious and worth a try.
MoreThe best chimney in Prague. I highly recommend this place. I have been in Prague for 4 days and I had it almost everyday. This one with ice cream, it is very very good and the one with whipping cream is very good as well, whipping cream lover definitely need to try it bit unfortunately I did not take picture. 😊
MoreThe trdelník here is ok. Nothing too amazing. The top of the cone was fine. We ordered it with vanilla cream which was good as well. However the bottom was burnt and a little raw. The prices are just a little too high for this. There are much better places that are worth it.
MoreDelicious local food ☺☺☺Worth visiting again !!!
Best ice cream in prague we tried frozen queen and we loved it!!!!
Amazing and incredible delicious! One of my favorite dessert! Really recommended!
MoreYes! It is the best in Prague! Even at 11pm. The girls were wonderful and the food was even better. I dont even like pastries, but the strawberries and cream were just perfect for a drunk snack. Theyre huge, so prepare to share.
MoreFabulously delicious. Girl at the cashier seems to be hating her job but the place is not about customer service, its about the sweets so all good 👍
MoreBest place to sell Trodo in Prague.
Icecream is thick, smooth and good taste. The vanilla dream is not very good.
delicious, but not cooked by coal.
Amazing taste of Trdelnik, originally Skalicky Trdelnik from Slovakia, must try when in Prague. Trdelnik cake with Icecream , fruits and chocolate is the best during long walks around lovely city centre. Also simple Trdelnik only with cinamon, nuts or vanilla flavour without icecream. Many possible variations available almost everywhere in Prague city.
MoreDelicious trdlo I ever tasted at Prague 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Highly recommend this store. Their Trdlo was made in front of time. Its hot and delicious. This is Grammas kitchen. :)
MoreTheir trdelnik is soft on the inside and firm on the outside. Their soft serve is cream is creamy and delicious. I also ordered some pastries and those were delicious and buttery also. I enjoyed it and would recommend!
MoreBeing a massive tourist trap, these desserts are indeed something you will want to try once while here. Essentially it is a massive cone-shaped structure that holds whatever filling places in Prague have to offer. The cone tastes exactly like a churro, Cinnamon French toast, or a cinnamon donut. Essentially it is dough that is covered in cinnamon and sugar. This place was very ok. The lady behind the counter was extremely rude, not seeming to want to serve me and then saying “Read the menu” when I asked her questions about the item since it wasn’t completely in English. The trdelnik was not fresh, having been picked from a pile sitting out in the back instead of one of the fresh ones being roasted in the front to lure you in. The pastry itself almost seemed a little stale, being hard and not as soft as I would like, while also only having the coating on the outside and not the inside. The inside tasted like plain dough which isn’t inherently bad, but could’ve been better (it might be that all places only cost the outside). The soft serve ice cream was indeed a ton. The entire cone from the bottom to a good inch bast the top was filled with soft serve vanilla. The soft serve was very OK. I use McDonald’s as my soft serve standard (which is delicious whenever you find the rare location that has a machine working to dispense that cold, sugary goodness), and here in Prague, this stall had soft serve that was more icy than I would like and not as creamy. Sure, it still is tasty having a cold sugar and vanilla and milk mixture, but it definitely could’ve been better.Overall, I would give it a 3.5 or 3.75/5 experience. Definitely try this dessert out while here, but maybe you will find a better stall than I did (there are literally dozens of stalls that I passed by just in a small radius around the hotel we were staying at). Some even do savory trdelnik!
MoreThe ladies making and serving were very nice and friendly. Filled the pastry come right from the bottom to all the way to the top and more. Enjoyed it very much to the last bit.
